"Those were Annihilator War Mechs. they're among the most powerful types of mech in our arsenal" said the Commander as he walked out of the lift as it came to a stop. as the doors opened, a hallway was revealed. at the end of it was a door, behind which was the Officer's quarters. inside was a medical facility for various degrees of injury, a cafeteria, a training area made up of a close quarters melee section and a shooting range. above the entrance were two paintings, one of a red haired man in dark navy armour and robes, with golden filligry and decoration built in. he was wearing a tall collered cloak, lined with golden filligry, which came down to the ground behind him, barely touching the ground. he had deep brown eyes, acting like windows to a wise, compassionate soul. he was young, but his gaze alone was enough to show he was a person of great wisdom. the other was of a silver haired man, the front raising off his head in upside down V's, coming down at the sides of his face, framing the eyes between them. his eyes themselves were rich golden orbs that had a hawk-like look to them, an intense look in his gaze, hinting towards his immense focus. he was wearing form fitting black light weight combat armour, which seemed to be made up of long, body encompassing scales, similar to the stomach of a snake, though along the middle, the armour gained a bit of a groove, which ended in a blunt point, extending downwards to the next plate. this single plate split into two at the top of the chest, between which was the VAMCEB logo. over the armour the man was wearing two trenchcoats, one very light and thin, pure black and the other thicker, black, with a white bottom, the white area at the bottom of the coat reaching up in streams towards the top, fading halfway up. on his shoulders were a pair of 3 piece shoulder-guards, a three black spots forming a triangle where each of the intersections between the parts were. on either side of his armour was a sword scabbard, and in his hand, was a long, 8 foot long black sword, with a red edge and a jagged red line above that, a thin black line seperating the two. the man had the tip of the blade pointing downwards, a good 3 feet of it buried in the ground where the painting was drawn. the man's chest was adorned with numerous medals, and was obviously of really high importance in the Vardian Empire...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
