The shuttle landed on the planet surface...so far soo good. They were prehaps about a half mile away from the temple, the stealth craft was not meant for combat and they couldt risk getting too closee. For all he knew, they could have been enemy forces there.

Revan came out first...his dark armor and robes shining through the sun as he kept his hands by his side, scanning through the area through his mask. The ARC Troopers piled out quickly, they surrounded the Dark Lord in a formation to defend him in case of an ambush.

"The pilot aware of the orders?" Revan asked. "Yes" A Arc Trooper captain replied. There was now 3 Captains that were marked with black armor, a revision in the ranks removed the signature colors. The rest were plain Lieutenants, in the 501st signature blue. Heavily armed and poisted for combat the group set out towards the temple. The craft aware of his orders began to leave...they were in unknown territory and if needed, Revan would blast this rock but for now that temple had unknown treasures or traps.

While the ARC Troopers were indepenent and "human" like compared to their standard and regular clone brethern. They were different, which made them unique, capable of making their own plans or their own fighting style. As for now they stayed quiet...each seemingly focused on the mission.

Meanwhile back the Annihilator...the destruction of the Imperial Probe possibly hinted that they were survivors out there, why else would they take it. The surface prehaps was fried from the debries from the earlier space battles. Instead..a Imperial Squadron would take a look. The Grand Admiral put in the order to Admiral Harper who controled the massive group of Imperial Stations which held most of their troops for the plans on taking the outerim. Harper prepared to send in the squardon

As for Palleon and his men...its been months...long months. Some have died from the native and unknown creatures fighting to stay alive. Food was now running low...they had enough supplies considering they had a rather large base but it was all shot down months ago. The Troops still had absoulute disipline but the officers, the humans began to figure out to get off...they all blamed Palleon for the hell that has been going on.

The Xordian submersables moved over head. its hull opened to reveal a death ray, the heat of the bast would be able to evaporate the water aound it, leaving a visable "tube" as it moved through the water to decimate the defending forces and their pressious bio domes. Ascatis forces tried to make an ice wall over their srmy as a permanant shelter, but Xordian guns blasted the ice away in ice berg sized chuncks.

Lurking in the temple, the residing creatures were in a very calm modd. The xneomorphs had a strong hive with good numbers and the queen had laid more eggs than a human could think. A few of the creatures were resting and those were a small group of warriors along with 3 runners. The other knew that their queen had to be protected at all costs, even if it meant dying.

Tehren knew the risks, as the squad was leaving he took of his pack, retrieved the lightsaber from within and clipped it to the back of his belt, took the EMP generator and left the ylsamari with the ship. Then he quickened his pace to catch up with the others...

Name: Graboid
Description: They are 30 feet in length, with a cylindrical, worm-like shape. They have brown, scaly skin and small spines encircling their limbless bodies. Their heads are made up of a large, black upper beak and a thinner lower one that's flanked by two mandibles. They have three snake-like tongues ending in toothy jaws with four hooks on them, used for catching prey. The tongues have a good six-foot reach. Graboids are eyeless, have orange blood, and give off an offensive odor.
Diet: Just about any piece of meat that fits in their mouths.
Natural Abilities: Being blind and living underground, Graboids sense food by vibrations or other noise, and this sense is extremely acute. They have surprising memory and can learn quickly. Utilizing the spikes on their bodies, Graboids can propel themselves incredibly fast, able to chase down light vehicles. They have surprising strength, able to pull small vehicles underground. However, they cannot dig through rock, and may actually kill themselves if they go too fast and hit a solid obstacle (like concrete).
History: Graboids (as well as Shriekers and Rockettails) have lived on Earth since the Devonian. However, they are all but extinct there, and humans have actually sent Graboid eggs to other planets. As they can survive on just about any planet with loose soil that's inhabitable by humans, they are surprisingly widespread.

Name: Shrieker
Description: Shriekers are only about the size of large turkeys, and are bipedal, lacking arms, with a short, stumpy tail. Their head is nearly identical to that of Graboids, but instead of three tongues, they have one, 6-foot long one that's covered in short, stiff bristles and lacks a "mouth." Their feet are three-toed, like a theropod dinosaur, and they have three flaps on their head. Upon lifting these, they expose a brain-like heat-sensing organ (they can see a little heat while these are folded, but open them to get a full view of prey). They are completely deaf and blind (with the exception of heat sense).
Diet: Anything that gives off heat or tastes good.
Natural Abilities: After several days, Shriekers rip out of an adult Graboid (anywhere from three to six), killing it. The Shriekers utilize a heat-sensing organ to hunt prey. Once they spot food, they give off a loud shriek. While this has no use (seeing as they're deaf), the scream gives off a lot of heat, luring more Shriekers to the area. Once they feed enough, Shriekers "barf" out another one, which immediately grows to full size in no more than a few hours. They can run extremely fast, and have the same intelligence as Graboids. After another twelve hours, they molt and become a new species: Rockettails.

Name: Rockettail (AKA "A**-Blaster")
Description: Rockettails look very similar to Shriekers, but are longer, thinner, and more low-slung. Their feet are more like talons, and they three sail-like structure on their bodies: one on each side, and a vertical one on the back. They lack the Shriekers tongue, but their heat-sensor (which is made up of two flaps, not three) has a wider range.
Diet: Identical to Shriekers.
Natural Abilities: By mixing two combustible chemicals in their colon together, Rockettails can basically "launch" themselves in the air with the power of the explosion. Their sails are used to glide incredible distances, allowing them to spread their cargo: a Graboid egg. For unknown reasons, they go into a coma upon feeding too much, instead of reproducing. They are highly explosive if stuck with heated objects, and will use their chemicals for methods other than flight, like melting through doors. Their intelligence is, unsurprisingly, like that of Shriekers and Graboids.

Native Name: Called Marr by humans.
Enviroment: Very earth-like, except most of the solid terrain is arid and open.
Regions: Most of the regions are merged into one supercontinent, not unlike Pangea.
Dominant Species: The Graboids, Shriekers, and Rockettails.
Technology Level: No species is sentient, and have basic animal instincts (no intelligent life has colonized the planet, as it's simply to dangerous).
Animal Life: Graboids and their later forms are the top predators, but there are many other species on the planet, such as minor predators, herd herbivores, and a few aquatic species (who are effectively safe from Graboids).

Revan heard the footsteps as one of the ARC Troopers rushed to join them. He felt it was the one who spoke of that EMP device that can disrupt shields. Prehaps if the device worked, full production would be made and use to disrupt the shields of those new alien foes who were giants compared to the standard troops. They had devloped weapons, EMP weapons only due to the sentials but they havent had a chance. Ion cannons were similar in a way but were meant only for big battles.

Revan paused as the troops paused themselves. They looked down from their higher elevated poistions. They looked down and it seemed clear but clearly open... a sign of a trap prehaps. "Keep your weapons drawn, be aware of your surroundings..." Revan replied before pressing on through the thick jungle treese heading for the temple. The troopers followed as usual.

As for Admiral Harper back into the large ammount of Imperial space stations, the stronghold for the Imperials into out of the outerim...3 Star Destroyers usually consited of a basic squardon. A small unit like this was enough to put any plantery rebellions and only the largest rebel fleets had a chance. As for the new foes in this system...everything seemingly was changed. The squardon prepared to move out in their attempt to rescue admiral palleon.

A pair of Shriekers watched the ARC Troopers and Revan head towards the temple. They popped out of the trees on the groups right flank, and let out eerie shrieks that carried on the wind and would most likely attract any Shrieker nearby. These two, however, were more worried about simply getting some fresh meat. They bounded forward, mandibles open and ready to attack.

Any force senstive would be aware of the life presence that was unfolding and the ARC Troopers were however aware through their radar. Heavily armed and trained as the best...an ambush was something they were used too.

"Sir...Radar, we got movement...right side" An Arc Trooper replied.

Revan nodded and glanced at the temple...it was only 200 meters away.

"Back up slowly towards the temple...we cannot start and opening up our poistion" Revan replied as he withdrew his Lightsaber, he had not activated it just yet as the troops nodded and began to move on...arms poised. There reaction time would allow them for quick firing as they moved slowly towards the temple.

The Shrieker pair burst out of the trees, screeching loudly. One headbutted an ARC trooper to the ground, and together the two beasts dragged the struggling soldier into the undergrowth, where they swiftly ripped him to pieces.

"Trooper!" Revan commanded.

"Yes sir..." One Arc Trooper walked himself up to the front...carrying him a massive blaster cannonchain gun. The trooper then opened fire as the rapid bolts of blue energy flew from his gun towards the undergrowth, ripping anything apart that was hit as the troop fired from side to side.

"The rest of you head for the temple" Revan responded as they nodded and went off as Revan looked towards the trooper.

"Go!" Revan commanded once more as the trooper lay down several more rounds as they darted towards the temple...the area was wide opening clearing through the jungle as Revan followed, staying closer to the rear if any support was needed, the trooper in front of him would have turned around and helped..

Two shrieks marked the shredding of the Shriekers, who were reduced to nothing more than orange bits of flesh and a horrid odor. However, Their shrieks had lured another three to them, and they split up, coming at the group from each direction, except the front.

The main group of the troops reached the entrance of the temple and begun applying covering fire, firing their standard DC-15A blaster riffles, the blue bolts firing from the guns towards the odd creatures...there was more then enough of take them out.

Instead of wasting time as the troops prodvided cover for Revan and the ARC Trooper with the chaingun...Revan applied a "gentle" yet powerful force push as he force pushed the Arc Trooper in front of him gently as the trooper was propelled foward as he slammed into the ground. 2 troopers then went by and pulled him towards the entrance as the other ARC's covered for them.

Revan himself force jumped at the Temple entrance as he watched as their pursuers were being reduced to nothing but dead carcesses from the sheer ammount of firepower.

Two of the Shriekers were killed, but the third turned and sprinted away. It let out another, massive scream, which traveled even further than in the forest because of the more open area. This was met my more from further away, as at least another dozen of the creatures appeared. They milled around the entrance of the temple, intending to wait out their prey.

Tehren looked toward Revan as the ARC troopers brought in their comrade. He kept is view on his radar but was truly keeping his mind and the force on keeping track of the creatures as they swarmed around. My Lord, what are your orders?

(Dm, earth doesnt exist at the moment you can have it as just an earth like planet if you want or you can introduce the earth)

About 700 meters from the temple entrance, a single pod flashed out of the sky, up till now it had been under stealth cover. 4 panels ejected off either side of it and the pod crashed into the ground viciously. The front door on the pod flew off and a humaniod figure was hurled out, sumersaluting in the air before landing into a crouch. A small antena slid out of the top of Martains helmet and he muttered "Alpha 1, down and on the move... 2, circle the Temple, recon and report. Pursueing imperials. Alpha 1 out" He stood up sprinting foreward and leaping up into the branches, activateing his primary stealth mode. It didn't require much power and was pretty effective for dealing with most sensors. It neutrilised his body heat and minimsed the noise created by his foot falls aswell as activateing his chameleon camoflauge. The main downside was that the silent footfalls created subsonic viberations that some microphones picked up. It was mainly designed for organic creatures. He reached the end of the forest, crouching down and spying a bunch of strange monstrous creatures around the entrance...

The Shriekers milled around, making odd snorting noises and nosing the ground around them. Every once in awhile, one would lift it's head flaps, exposing the orange, pulsing, brain-like heat sensor, before closing them again.

Beneath his helmet Tehren grinned. He quickly pulled a pair of thermal detonators from his belt and, activating them, threw them at the mass of creatures. Then he ducked behind the inner wall of the temple as a bright fiery explosion erupted sending debris scattering. When the dust cleared he looked out to see atleast half a dozen burning corpses left...

The remaining Shriekers opened their flaps, having sense the intense heat. Screeching, the creatures looked in every direction to find where the source was.

Unfortunately for Tehren, the explosion attracted the attention of another creature: a Graboid. The massive worm head directly for the Shrieker pack, but ignored its smaller bretheren, instead going in circles around the temple to look for prey.

Inside the temple, a xeno warrior had been crawling on the ceiling 50 yards away from the temple enterance when it heard the sounds of the battle raging outside. Keeping to the shadows, it moved off to tell the queen and the rest of it's kin about the intruders at the enterance of their hive. If the intruders came in to the temple, they would meet fierce and powerful resistence.

"Come on...were attracted too many attention...pull back deeper into the temple..." Revan responded as several ARC Troopers nodded and begun to move with Revan. Several scanned the temple entrance.

"I'll just leave anything coming after us...a present" The Trooper with the chaingun then reached towards his belt and took out a mine as he placed it on the hall as a small thin blue laser lined against the other wall...should anything hit it would be blasted. He set up 3...each about 2 feet away from each other as he followed the others.

They went on deeper through the temple....scanners showed that this temple was massive...they began their search unaware of the deep horrors inside..
