Gaara thought it over. "It won't be the assassins. i pulled their base of operations and their chain of command apart.....there was a cyborg i mangled right after that though. crippled it completely. destroyed it's motor functions. It did say it had a superior though....during my little interrogation...apparently lives in a penthouse suite in one of the new Super Skyscrapers...the second largest one...what was it called again? the Parthenon Tower? I think that was it's name" he said after a few moments thought. "That's the only enemy i may have that has the tech to have drones. the rest are mostly mafia, but they're scared shitless of me" he added...

"Cyborg?" SpeedFreak thought. "You trashed a cyborg...and its maker's pissed at you. Thats the only reason that makes sense....you might wanna check yourself, incase you have a tracker on you" The hero added after a short pause. "Good thing that drone got destroyed before who ever sent it found out a space ship's parked out here"

"Still, I'd be careful if I were you," Yoruichi said, making a mental note to ask Gaara for the full details when Ira was around to hear. "You never know."

Meta Ridley once again entered the equipment room, the cyborg this time grabbin ga slightly smaller, already skinned Spy Wasp. H ehas been ordered to send this newer, stealth version out to spy on the sand master, and to see jus twhat kind of a threat he posed. The cyborg onc again tapped a tiny red button on the wasp, bringing it to life, the spy drone, skinned like a real wasp to help prevent shine from givin git away, flew out toward the last recorded area of the previous drone, this one havin gthe latest anti-radar equipment, to help prevent it from bein gpicked up by radar or human scanners...

Again, when the drone neared a short while later, the armed defense system picked up on it closing in, when it was just over the thick trees before the clearing. The turret rose up again, locking into position and taking aim, scanners marking the machine despite its attachments. Another pulse left the gun, ripping through the trees and branches, obliterating the other drone.

SpeedFreak nearly jumped out of his skin. "Jeeze, Gaara. Someone really wants to get some dirt on you He paused again, thinking about what he just said. "...No pun intended"

Gaara suddenly seemed to implode into a plume of sand, the sand all over his form writhing and grinding and crushing before finally returning to his normal form. "Nope. no bugs on me" he answered simply...

Tiffany watches as her screen is again turned into sizzles, the girl pounds her fists onto the computer, just as angry as before. "No, Meta-Ridley, we are not gonig with a plan C..." Tiffany growled as The Cyborg stood behind her. "Uh, perhaps we could look in the polic edatabase for information of this "Gaara" person..." The cyborg hissed...

"Well thats just weird, how the hell do those things know where you are then..." The hero asked. JoJo starting barking at Gaara. Just now, when his sand drifted about... he could have sworn it smelled like blood...

"Hey, take it easy," Yoruichi said, giving Jojo a nudge with her foot even as her flame shot out in the direction the gun had fired, moving as if it had a mind of its own.

JoJo bared his teeth, growling ominously at the girl. The fact Gaara said he killed was bad enough, he wasnt going to have his friend be a target for who ever wanted to get him...

Again, the gun slunk back into the recesses of the cloaked craft with a soft hum, the panel that covered it slipping seemlessly back into place

"I'm a big girl, Jojo," Yoruichi said, smiling faintly. "And I'm not helpless, remember?" The fire she'd let out sought the gun's target, closing in quickly.

Gaara shrugged. "No idea" he said. glancing at JoJo, he raised an eyebrow. "what's gotten into him?" he asked...

"You dont keep him on a leash?" SpeedFreak asked. "He looks like he wants to bite something...Im not gonna hesitate in kicking his inky head in if he comes after me.." The hero warned, looking down at the dog, which had turned from Yoruichi to Gaara...

The flames hit nothing, for the mecha-wasp has already been shot down by Galaak's ship defences...

"Your right! Perhaps..." Tiffany stammered as she began to search for the local city polic edatabase. When she entered into it, the vast majority of the data in there was locked away, not for the public eye to see... Ridley, do you still have that virus that's been plaguin gyou laterly?" Tiffany asked, the cyborg snorted in reply, crossin ghis eyes. "Yes I do. The virus that's been preventin gme from firin gmy missles properly..." The cyborg responded, pulling out a small cord from beneath the area where his 6 missles were kept, and attached it to the computer, ready to download the virus from himself into the police database...

Yoruichi let out a short hiss to get the dog's attention back. "Leave him alone. He's a friend." Finding nothing, the flames turned to smoke and vanished.

The dog growled irritabley again, glancing from Gaara to Yoruichi. With a short bark, the dog eased off, sitting down with his head held level with the ground, looking up at Yoruichi. She had already won favor with his canine instincts.

Gaara eyed the ink dog for a moment, getting an idea. "Rather than just sitting here assuming he wants to bite my head off, let's give him a voice. let him tell us what his problem is" he said. as he said it, a stream of sand emerged from the gourd's wall, pouring onto the ground in front of the dog, forming a thin, square slab, slightly porous to allow ink to sink in and tint it to form shapes rather than being completely flat and air tight. "You can write. so write what's wrong" he said finally, crossing his arms and watching expectantly...

From behind the dog's neck, rose twin streams of ink that spiraled up to form then tendrils. They shot out into a surrounding bush, snapping off a short twig before moving it over to the slab. It then scribbled on the sand tablet, scribbling out "I dont like it when friends are in danger, much less, when they're put in danger"

"He could....write..." SpeedFreak said, grasping his chin thoughtfully. "in this day and age, I really shouldnt be suprised..."

"You heard me say it a few minutes ago. i only have a few friends. i don't intend to lose them or see them harmed" said Gaara...

"What control do you have? All you can control is sand. Thats not going to do much if she's shot, stabbed, or worse when you arent around to play hero, just because someone wanted to hurt you" The dog wrote out. The blood he smelled back at the house. That must've been a close call... he also noticed how Ira looked after he appeared...like she was in pain. No doubt they were related.
