OoC: Sorry Dm, but i'm afraid they either got shot, or didn't knock over the tram. if they're small enough to hide behind it, they're no way in hell capable of knocking it over. this is a multi ton STEEL CARGO tram afterall. it'd take the collective weight of a T.Rex to knock something like that over, let alone stop it at speed. you want it knocked over, you'll have to sacrifice their ability to hide behind crap

Jacob moved with his companion, firing as soon as he spotted the target, the leading Utahraptor recieving several rounds in the flank and up the neck, Jacob targetting vital organs and joints, intending to cripple if not kill the animal outright, it's packmates already shredded with automatic fire...

Riley had become slightly hidden and crushed under some of the wreckage and debris shortly after the tram itself was thrown on to it's side, and was still in the middle of moving it, tyring to get it off of him and search for his pistol and knife. He soon found his weapons and got up after moving a few more items off of him and looked around through the car he and the group was in...

Persephone was lying on the ground, covered in dust and bits of wreckage. She had lost her magnum when the tram had been sent onto its side, but right now, she didn't care where it was. Seems like things have finally gotten exciting enough to keep me alert... Persephone sighed mentally as she struggled onto her feet...

Riley walked through the wreckage for a bit and found Persephone struggling to get up, before helping her get on to her feet...

"Thank you..." Persephone said to Riley once she was back onto here feet. She brushed some dirt off herself... before seeing her magnum, just to her side. She turnedf and bent over quickly, picking it up as fast as she could. She had to remain on her feet right now... with Polar Bear sized raptors running around, things could quickly take a turn for the worst...

The two females let out shrieks of pain and anger as they were hit, deciding to forgo hiding and just return the assault. They were too big to hide easily anyway. With bloodlust in their minds and hearts, they sprang up and over the fallen tram. One of them bowled over a human and leaned down, her gaping maw looming over his neck as her weight kept him pinned. The other lashed out with sharp foreclaws, the human she was aiming at barely avoiding being disemboweled.

Maxwell aims for the utahraptor pinning one of their fellow merc, before firing is shotgun about 3 times at its head. In these clsoe quarters, this weapon could kill the thing if it took too many hits....

Riley grabbed his AK-47 and pulled the trigger, but only clicks were heard from the gun as he tried shooting it, forgetting to reload it earlier. The merc grabbed a one of his last two clips of ammunition for the gun and yanked the other out, before cramming the one still in hand into the gun...

The female raptor screeched in pain even as she drove one foot-long killer claw into the pinned human's shoulder. She leaped away, half-blinded by her own blood, while the other female moved in to finish off the fallen human.

Riley quickly opens fire on the nearest utahraptor, not aiming at all as he fired his AK-47. The merc didn't stop until the ammo in his clip ran empty, forcing him to reload...

fired his shotgun until the clip was empty as well. However, instead of reloading it, he pulls out his pistol and aims for the utahraptor's eyes.....

Rick joined in with Maxwell and Riley, firing on the Utahraptor that was not as injured as the one the other two mercs were attacking. Bullets from the Carbine slamms into the right side of the large raptor as well as into it's shoulder on that side, the aim being to damage the limb so that it would be impossible to use without causing the animal pain...

Persephone, magnum in hand, aimed and fired at one of the Utahraptors, three bullets being fired from the weapon's barrel... She wanted to take this f*cking beast down as fast as she could, before anyone else died on this cursed island...

The male Utahraptor had been using its side to push the tram car, presenting a smaller profile when David rounded the corner. The Utahraptor was quick, lunging forward and ducking at the same time, David's burst whizzing over its head, which slammed into the merc and sent him half-tumbling, half-staggering backwards, right into Jack as he rounded the corner as well. The raptor quickly backed off, screeching angrily as it turned and retreated around the other side of the tram car, heading for the other end of the tram...

Barnes brought the Carbine up to his shoulder and fired, but nothing happened. Realizing that he had expended the clip during the previous fight with the Deinonychus, and knowing he would have little time to reload, the man dropped his weapon and unslung the Mossberg, relying on his merc allies to keep the two dinosaurs distracted while he did so...

Seeing the raptor swing its immense girth about, David moved the hand holding up the front of the Tavor down to his belt, opening one of the compartments and slipping a combat knife out, the action being incredibly swift from years of practice and experiance. He lunged at the mutant as its head came hurdling at him, stabbing the blade straight into its eye and ending its charge, grunting from the impact

The less injured of the two females, seeing the attack on the male, charged the human and swung her head into his side, throwing him away from her packmate. He landed heavily some distance away and she chased after him, jaws open in a shriek of rage. The other female's head darted out at the hand of one human, teeth poised to cut through flesh and muscle and crack bone.

David let out a groan when he hit the ground, sliding back from the force of the blow and scattering dust. Because of the adrenaline coursing through his veins, the pain of the hit and impact did little to affect him, the merc raising his Tavor and firing point blank at the female closing on him. He heard the thuds of impact as bullets tore through her neck and the inside of her gaping jaws, ensuring serious wounds that would drive off any predator or kill them on the spot...

Jacob opened fire at the attacking female as his partner defended himself, intent on keeping him alive. He had no intention of losing the one person here he trusted somewhat...

Persephone aimed her magnum and fired at the other female Utahraptor. She knew that, the more people that survived this encounter, the greater the chance she, as well as everyone else, wold have to get off this damned rock...

The half-blinded Utahraptor male let out a fearsome, deafening howl, commanding his brethren to retreat. He turned and ran from the battle, sprinting back the way the Utahraptor pack had come, heading for the edge of the canyon...

Elsewhere, the hunting Sue heard the howl echoing through the air. The sounds of battle, as well as the unique stench of human, was drawing the Rex closer and closer to the canyon, ready to pursue the interloping humans who had stumbled upon her kingdom...
