Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

Balmeer stood up onto his back legs, his forelegs becoming true arms now that he was standing. he looked at the Black Dragon which had only recently returned from somewhere near the door, and growled "Where did you go, Young one?". Inferno, who had his back to his friends and was facing Balmeer, looked over his shoulder, wondering what was going on. Rutus stared at the Black Dragon, as well as the Silver Dragon Stimeak, while Morian stood in her place, relaxed, her eyes closed. she was mentally searching the room for something that could've drawn the Black Dragon's attention. "We have company" she growled at last. another Screeching roar sounded as Balmeer summoned some of his guards, who swooped in through the enterance, bringing with them...a young Blue Dragon...

Garroth wanted to help, he wanted to unite all the dragons together, stop the constant conflict between each race as it was pointless whilst the world was being ravaged. Plus he would need to find out who was the imposter that was disguised as Chronos and find out why they were meant to go on a quest like this. What was the real reason behind it all? Many questions filled his mind and he worried that nothing bad was going to happen to him or the others. Especially Tranquillus, he could not bare to watch her die. If there was going to be a war, everyone would play an important part in the battle. He saw Tranquillus nearby and went over to her. He wanted to speak to someone to pass the time. She had recently eaten her fill of fish and was looking out through the prison. Garroth remembered back to the exercises he did at the end of the day in which everyone gathered to quiten down and where green and gold dragons would sing in the night. The songs they sung were very "classical", in other words soothing, quiet music that allowed Green Dragons and Gold Dragons to push their thoughts aside and remind themselves of happy moments in their lives, after that it kept everyone positive and always looking forward to it. Some called it a devotion like they were praying to some supernatural force higher than them which was impossible. Garroth thought that dragons were gods themselves, there was nothing of higher rank than them in a ecosystem, other than a few monsters. Garroth knew that a god did not have to be powerful, a god could be someone that people look up to. But he still preferred the term Entity. He headed over to Tranquillus...

Setrinus stood up, tense when the Blue Dragon Emperor started to ask that Black Dragon where he went off to. Uh...time to go, she thought and started to back away toward the enterance of the cave. Suddenly, she tensed again when she heard the words of the Purple one and started to make a dash for it. What really scared her was the screech that came from the Blue Emperor himself. She tried to make her escape, but it was proven useless, for Balmeer's guards caught her and brought her forth to him. She nervously stared at the dragon Emperors with both awe and fear and smiled faintly. "Um...hi?" She chuckled nervously.

Balmeer snarled. "I guessed we may have Spies, but i never expected one of my own kind. throw her in one of the prison caves. we'll eliminate her after the meeting" snarled the Blue Emperor coldly. Inferno had been looking at the Dragon, the innocent fear in it's eyes reminding him of himself a few years ago. "Wait" he growled, drawing Balmeer's attention, as well as that of the guards. "I'm not certain of others' thoughts, but i have a strong feeling that that Dragon is innocent. Not a spy. Perhaps merely a curious young Dragon wondering what we Emperors actually do during these meetings. i can remember a time when i thought the exact same thing while Mortus met with you, and your predecessors". "Inferno, although i know you mean well, we're dealing with the fates of thousands of Dragons here. I think it would be wise to follow precautions" growled Balmeer, Rutus silently nodding in agreement. "And in doing so causing the death of one of those who you have sworn to protect as their Ruler? we have the ultimate precaution among us right now. We have the most powerful mind reader in existence. Morian, if you would be so kind..." growled Inferno, his elemental fin lighting him up brighter than normal, illuminating the already well lit cavern, whose corners had large blue crystals that oddly glowed. the room's blue tint was extinguished in Inferno's fiery light. Morian nodded at Inferno's request, and looked into the young Blue Dragon's eyes, not even coming close. the thoughts of the young Dragon rushed into her mind like water. finally, the Purple Dragon opened her eyes and growled one thing which surprised the other Dragons. "He's Right. Setrinus is Innocent". Inferno nodded. "I thought so" he growled, looking at the guards, who finally put the young dragon, whose name he had found to be Setrinus, down...

Garroth sat down next to the Gold Dragon. She turned to him but she still had a serious look on her face. "I know you must be feeling as much betrayal as we all do Tranquillus. I'm sorry, I had no idea this would cause us so much trouble. I do feel worried to question though a dragon as powerful and wise as Chronos and who I thought was of such a higher rank than me. All we want to do is fix this problem up. My mother once told me that don't stop asking til you have the answers. Of course it might not make much sense at the moment but it is a valuable lesson I learned as well as the fact that I shouldn't let my anger get the best of me. All commanders know this and even I did that mistake once. One time Borgus and Sarcus accidently knocked down one of the roosts during one of their duels. It was mainly Borgus's fault so I got in such a fit with him that I smashed him with my tail so hard." He said in a positive tone. Tranquillus looked at him. "Was he alright?" She asked.
Garroth giggled for a minute. "I knocked him sky high before he came back down. I broke his nose. That's why he now has a stump-like shape there. When I sent him into the air, the force from the attack was so strong, he could not get his wings to open out so like all things that go up must come down, he crashed into a nearby hillside. I apologized afterward but this is why he's tough." He replied with a giggle. Tranquillus laughed and so did Garroth. At least not all was bad. He needed to lighten his mood, Balmeer might think this was imprisonment for now but that did not mean he could not enjoy himself. It didn't matter anyway, it wasn't his fault. And what shocked him was the sight of the purple dragon he saw before he was sent into the prison. Why didn't they just ask the purple dragon to mind read them? It was obvious they were innocent...

Setrinus gulped as the Blue Emperor spoke and shook nervously when he said to throw her in the prison caves. Luckily, both Inferno and Morian saved her behind. Setrinus sighed in relief when they finally put her down and bowed low to the emperors. "I am sorry for intruding, but as Inferno said, Inferno, is it? Anyway, as he said, I was very curious," she growled.

Stimeak closed his fist that was hiden behind his leg. Crushing a spell returning it to his mana. If Balmeer had gone ahead with his plan he would've caused a flash strong enough to blind them all for hours. Desperate times caused for Desperate measures, but killing a youngster like that was beyond creul. He wouldn't stand for it. He padded foreward a bit, in intrest. He smirked but remained silent. He thought "Balmeer would consider killing this dragon just like that! One of his own kind, while he offered me food and welcome to his home...." He stoped the smirk from going further. He had heard everything said here, every detail of their plan so far... He raised one paw, inspecting his claws before putting it back down. "Hell I even killed Mortus, one of their own!" He remained quiet and pushed the thoughts into the back of his mind for now. he was scared of Morian, but also respected her, senseing the power that she held and not wanting to disturb her.

"Very Well. Still, with such creatures as the Shape Shifting Witch Demons of Beliar's army, one can never be sure whose friend, and who is enemy. had it not been for the initial Identity check Morian did on Stimeak and Neltharion proving to us that they were not Shape Shifters, we may have ended up having to take similar measures. I suppose that this meeting is over, seeing as we have covered all the subjects planned. in about 2 months time, I think we should meet again. the place we meet, is up to you". "Perhaps we should meet at his majesty Inferno's home, perhaps to insure secrecy. it is quite isolated from the other creatures. the only thing near his home are Wild forest Elephants and other prey items. Any potential threat would be easily discovered" growled Embur, speaking for the first time in the meeting, his immense, dark red form almost getting away in the guise of a large dark wall painting, where it not for Inferno's fin lighting up his old, tired features. Inferno nodded, and growled "My cave is more than capable of serving the purpose. it's first chamber, by the entrance, is small, but it leads down to a much larger main chamber, with various sized chambers connecting, my mate and I's resting place being one such chamber. we could use one of them, if not the main chamber itself, as a meeting room". Balmeer nodded, agreeing to the idea. Rutus growled "So it's settled. we meet at Inferno's mountain in exactly 2 months time. Now, Balmeer, if you would be so kind as to release that group of intruders, I would like to take care of a potentially back stabbing General". Balmeer nodded. no more than a few seconds later, out of the pit rose a number of Green Dragons, accompanied by a Golden one, immobilised with ice. "Rutus, take them. however i would suggest not killing them. after all, they are but mere young Dragons following orders. who gave them the orders is the one responsible". Rutus nodded, and out of the ground, vines emerged, wrapping around the Dragons as the ice below it melted away. Hovervine plants, as the name suggested, had the unique ability of having their vines levitate. he could use that to keep the dragons binded and draw them with him to his Realm, where he would finally ask for the answers to all the other questions he had. for now, he had taken the Green Alariel Gem back from the young Green Lance Commander, as it was obviously something stolen from him at an earlier time. Acacius had much to answer for. as he left the cave, the bound Dragons in tow, the other Dragons nodded their good byes. Morian left, taking off using her wings, exercising them despite the fact that she could move around without using her wings using teleportation and levitation...

Garroth knew they were heading home. Relieved that they were not to be trapped in that prison would be as good enough freedom as anything else. Being sent out of that prison frozen in ice was scary, he hated being frozen in ice. But relief welled up inside him but he knew it was not over yet, someone was in serious trouble...

Setrinus blinked as she listened to the conversation between the Emperors. Another meeting...she wanted to go, for she was interested in what they talked about and wanted to hear more about the ongoings. When they were finally done, the blue dragon made her way out of the meeting room, many different thoughts filling her mind, her eyes full of wonder. There is really a lot going on in this world...ugh, why do I have to be stuck here? Why can't I go with the other dragons? She looked down at a pebble and kicked it with frustration and watched as it bounced away.

As Inferno said his goodbyes and turned to leave, he eyed the Blue Dragon walking away, grumbling. looking back at Stimeak, Neltharion and Embur, he nodded to Embur to head off, and to ask Neltharion and Stimeak if they wished him to help on their way. he went up to the young Dragon, and growled "Am i to assume it was purely curiosity that brought you to attempt something as risky as listening in on an Emperor's meeting, or was there something else?". the cool tempreture of the cave being countered by his elemental fin to keep him warm, he felt perfectly at home in this calm, blue, watery Realm...

Setrinus almost jumped when the Red Dragon Emperor approached her and smiled faintly. "Oh um...well I uh...I, yes, kind of. Nothing really exciting ever happens here. To tell you the truth, it is...rather boring doing the same sort of thing daily and not really hearing what goes on in the world." She lowered her head in respect for the higher ranking dragon. "Thank you, for saving me."

Stimeak snorted loudly, slightly glad that the meeting was over, he ignored Embur and growled to Neltharion, "Shall we go home or do you want to talk to your freind over there" He glanced over at the blue dragon speaking with a slightly humerous tone.

a warm grin came across his draconic features. "I had a feeling that was the case, and it's my pleasure. I remember a time not too long ago when i was exactly the same. were it not for the fact that they wanted me as the future Emperor, i would have been in a similar predicament as yours. it was nothing but doing what i would like done for me in a similar situation. as for life being boring, you'll be surprised. Adventure, Danger and death lie right outside your home. you just have to tread lightly and be wise with your actions in those situations. the wise rise, and the fools fall. think before you act, plan your moves wisely, and you will likely find that life is more than a boring trip through simple daily routines". he held up a finger, his claw igniting as he looked at it. he growled "Notice how the flame on my claw flickers. a steady breeze, and the right stuff to fuel it...". the flame grew immense, engulfing his entire clawed hand. "... and it will grow, and become powerful. too much of a breeze..." he growled, as the flame suddenly went out. "...and it is extinguished. such is the life of every living creature, and Dragons in particular. with a steady flow of challenges as a breeze, and the right way of thinking as fuel, we become powerful. we become mighty beings that inspire awe in all those around us. but too many challenges...and we are crushed. keep that in mind if you happen to decide to go off on a little "adventure" and you should be safe"...

Setrinus blinked, and cocked her head, as if she fully didn't understand the Red Imperial dragon's words. "By daily routines," she repeated and shook her head. "Somehow I find it difficult thinking that daily routines can be an adventure," she murmured and continued to listen to the wise dragon's talk. She watched his example with the flame carefully. When it covered his clawed hand, her eyes widened in amazement. That doesn't hurt him? She gazed at Inferno again and nodded slowly. "Ok, so don't take too many challenges? I think I can handle that." She beamed at him and her eyes sparkled in understanding.

Uh...She looks a little...busy at the moment... Neltharion growled, glancing at the blue dragon. So we can just leave I guess... he hissed, shrugging. Neltharion yawned, still utterly bored, despite what had just happened...

Garroth was mad, even though they were going home, Chronos was responsible. But why would Chronos even do this? What was the point? Questions filled his mind as he tried to remain calm...

Inferno grinned at the young Dragon's amazed look when his hand lit up in flames. he repeated it, his entire clawed fist alight, and pointed a claw at the ground, a stream of flames boring into it, melting the solid stone beneath his feet instantly, before he stopped it, and extinguished the flames with a sudden close of his clawed hand, the flames going out instantly. he then put a claw into the hole, and the molten rock suddenly went solid as his claw drained the heat from it, the black claw's orange marbled patterns glowing yellow as the heat went through it. and as he lifted his claw out again, a long, cylindrical, clear crystal, attached to his hooked claw, followed. "Have you ever wondered why the Emperors are so sensitive about intruders? well, let me show you. this crystal is made of one of the most powerful stones in existence. and yet..." he started, as the crystal went bright yellow and Inferno bent it in his claws. "...with the right amount of pressure, the right amount of manipulation....it bends easily. like clay. it can be shaped to it's holder's will. as is the case with the powerful. almost anyone can be manipulated. the best way to defend against it is to prevent the unwelcome from coming in contact with them in the first place". he continued to forge the bright stone in his claws until it formed a ring about as wide as the Blue Dragon's wrist, perhaps slightly wider. a stream of bright yellow light went through the center of the ring of crystal. he gently lifted it from his palm with his other clawed hand, and handed it to the youngster. "Diamond. one of the most beautiful and indestructable stones in existence. and this particular bracelet made of it, contains a slight bit of fire magic imbedded within it. i think you might find it handy in times when water is inadequate". returning to the subject at hand, he growled "Everything can be turned into an adventure. when boredom effects you as much as it has me in the past, you'll be surprised of how resourceful you are with your amusement. I once turned a rock into something fun by setting it alight and tossing it at a group of invading Orcs that were obviously young and inexperienced. i scared the life out of them. it was raining fiery rocks on them and they thought the Emperor had found them and went running, crashing into trees, boulders, cliffs, eachother...all the time screaming "The Emperor is coming! The Emperor is coming!". and there i was attacking them from the shadows, occasionally dragging one off and killing it in the chaos, scaring them even more until they finally ran right into a cave which was known to have a very tempermental Minotaur. mere seconds later they're running out again, their eyes wide in terror and them running for their lives into the hills on the border of the Red Dragons' Realm. and all that....was started with a few burning rocks!" he chuckled in amusement at the memory, the marbled orange patterns in his pure black talons glowing with fiery light, turning the orange patterns yellow. a couple of staring young Blue Royals were looking at him as if something foul had stuck to his face. his glare shot up from the young Blue Dragon he was speaking to, and locked right onto the eyes of the two sub adult Royals, his blue and golden eyes gaining what seemed like a fiery shine as his eyes seemingly bored into their very souls, making the two Dragons almost step back in shock and fear. Inferno tilted his head slightly, as if telling them to leave, and the two Dragons hastily left, terrified of the Emperor's gaze. he looked back down at Setrinus, and growled "How many challenges you take on in your life may prove nearly meaningless. it's not about the number, it's about what those numbers are worth. Don't go into something you THINK you can handle. go into things you KNOW you can handle. and always keep your senses focused on your surroundings. many a young dragon has died going into things they thought were easy, only to find something much larger and more dangerous awaited them in the shadows, unseen because of their haste. you'd be wise not to repeat their mistakes"...

Setrinus sat down and observed Inferno's crafting carefully. She gazed at the crystal in his hand with awe and wonder in her eyes, but continued to listen. Meanwhile, thoughts were racing in her brain. Manipulating...they thought I was some kind of spy thing? The very Blue Emperor? Her eyes ridges furrowed, and she let out a "Hm.." as she thought about the Blue Emperor not trusting his own kind. She looked at the bracelet that Inferno gave her with curiosity and wonder lighting her eyes, and slipped it on to her wrist. "Thank you." She bowed her head once again to show her graditude and listened further. When he told the story of how he was messing with some orcs, she giggled. "You were a little micheivious at that time? The Red Emperor himself?" It was hard for her to imagine the Red Emperor getting into mischeif. He was the ruler of the entire Red dragon race! She ignored the young Royal blue dragons, snorting in anger at their behaviour toward Inferno. "Ok, ok...so KNOW what kind of challenges you are taking before stepping up to take them, think them over?"

Inferno grinned. "All of us were innocent care free youngsters at one time or another. only the responsibilities of being an Emperor have bound me from how i used to be. now, i am a figurehead for my kind, and as such, must make sure i do not portray the wrong image to those outside of the Red Dragon Flight. but otherwise, i am but a normal Red Dragon, like any other of my kind. However, i suggest you be wise of how you talk with other Emperors. some of them....wouldn't be comfortable spoken to the way i allow others to speak to me". the gem in his silver crown glowed a bit brighter than usual, and Inferno closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the warmth it gave him. finally, he opened his eyes and growled "And yes, regardless of what kinds of things you come across as far as challenges and threats go, think them through before going into them"...
