The man wordlessly sat down, remaining somewhat rigid in the seat, as if unintentionally tense. He continued to stare forward, almost not even taking notice of the alien craft around him.

With that, Galaak got to the flight controls. Unseen by any, the craft turned back to its original coarse, shooting off for the woods....

"Seriously Gal" SpeedFreak said into the head set mouth peice. "Did you take the scenic route or something? Decided to see the city from 10,000 feet up? Answer me dammit!"
"Im on my way Earth-born...theres been a new development" Galaak replied to the hero. He wondered if his passenger could understand him. He'd find out more when he landed...

"Yes, I can." the voice answered, the man still staring off blankly. "I assume you've befriended one of the natives." it continued calmly.

"Necessity" Galaak replied simply, the craft hurdling over buildings. It wasnt long until the last line of houses was passed, green blocking the ground from view. The vessel started to slow and descend as it neared its destination...

The man didn't press the matter further, simply resuming his blank stare...

Not too long after, the craft descended back into the clearing, air blowing hard through the trees. By now, there was nothing loose on the ground so it was safe to stand moderately close. Once the wind subsided, SpeedFreak stared off at the empty space, knowing it wasnt really empty. To his suprise, the cloak dropped and the entrance opened. He ran into the gravity field, wanting to know what the alien stumbled across...

The man stood as they descended, waiting patiently for the alien to lead the way, or for whomever it was meeting to come aboard...

The teen hero rose into the craft, the entrance sliding shut after him. Released from the weightlessness, SpeedFreak fell back onto the metalic floor. He looked from the pilot, who had just gotten up from his seat to the seemingly normal person aboard, and the comfortable looking seat he was on. "...This is the new development?" He asked, trying to hold back disbelief. "Dont be so quick to draw conclusions, Earth-born" Galaak replied. He looked to the man and then asked "You understand this language. Tell us your name"

"That would be impossible." the voice replied to both beings. "Once again, there is no form of it in your dialect." it continued, as the man looked toward the strange human. "He is...different. Why?" the voice said, looking back at the alien.

"What the- what the hell was that?!" SpeedFreak said, gripping his head. "Was that my thought?! Are these my thoughts?! Is my brain MY brain!? What the flaming fu-!" He yelled as Galaak interupted: "He is a mutant...what caused him to change is unknown to me, but he has been gifted with incredible speed and agillity" He looked away from the man, to the confused hero. He shook his head. "Not used to telepaths? Dont worry. That reaction is...universal... for the first timers"

"Is this form of communication more comfortable for you, native?" the voice emitted, though it sounded from the man himself, rather then echoing in the minds of the two individuals, apparently now able to communicate in the native language of the region somehow...

"...Yeah..." SpeedFreak began before quickly catching himself. "Native? What do you mean...native? You arent a mutant!?"
Galaak shook his head no. "He meant it when he said his name couldnt be spoken in your tongue. I could provide a means for a translation, however" The Ascatian said, looking to the man...

"The closest equivalent would be Tharon'ja." the voice said, though the man's mouth did not move. "I apologize for these corrections. I am still studying your language." it explained plainly.

"No apologies needed" Galaak replied. "....Aliens everywhere" SpeedFreak said a few seconds later. "And they can look like anyone..." While the boy was on his tangent, Galaak asked "Where do you hail from, Tharon'ja?"

"Outside this very realm. I believe his kind calls it a dimension." the voice explained, before turning toward the hero. "I did not know such a thing was unheard of." it commented blankly.

"Not anymore, it isnt..." SpeedFreak said, walking over to the couch the alien was just sitting in, letting himself drop onto it, tired, battered and confused. "Outside of this universe...?" Galaak asked. It was long confirmed that there were other dimensions coexisting with ours on different plains. The Ascatians in particular have tried to force points of convergence with other dimensions to relay messages, but the bridges to new universes couldnt be made precisely... for one reason or another, the bridges would converge with random points in space itself, not planets suspected of intelligent life. A race from another dimension making a link to this one and solving the convergent- coordination conundrum was an amazing find...

"We experienced the same problems." the voice answered, once again knowing what the alien was thinking. "Something on this planet weakened the barrier between what they refer to as 'dimensions'. It was something we had not seen before, and assumed something in this realm caused it." it explained.

"Where was the point of arrival?" Galaak asked, intriguied. The nano-tech armor slid back from the wrist device, which was then raise to the Ascatian's chest level. He tapped on the many buttons on the machine, which then projected a hologram of the globe. It spun about as the planet would on its axis...

"The forested area his kind refer to as 'Central Park'." the voice replied, mysteriously able to refer to the park's actual name.

"The park?" The Ascatian growled thoughtfully. "Thats where I...arrived... here" He said arrived because he didnt want to tell the interdimensional being he crashed, despite the fact what caused the crash were factors he had no control over...
