Burnout commented, referring to the younger AutoBot's fight before they left the harbor, undisturbed by sudden outburst of noise. Meanwhile, the transport continued to make its way back to shore, heading directly to Washington.

Sidewinder let out a weak chuckle, commenting "Yea, it almost makes up for the dent's in my a*s, doenst it?" , humor evident in his tone

Burnout grunted in acknowledgment, but otherwise remained silent, still in a semi-dormant state...

An unknown amount of time passed before the autobot was jarred into consciousness, the transport shuttering and shaking as it neared its destination, the city of Washington DC now below them. Burnout mumbled something about inefficient human technology, remaining in the more compact police car mode for the time being...

Car alarm blaring once more, Sidewinder mumbled "Im going to need one hell of a body shop if I want to keep the slightest bit of stealth that I posess"

"Looks like we're almost there, guys," said Breakaway. "You better be thanking Cybertron."

"Cybertron?" Sidewinder said. "Dont make me laugh. Its a wasteland now that Megatron came to power, Im lucky I was able to leave that hell hole when I did" Sidewinder muttered, taken aback by Breakaway's way of talking as if he went through the heat of battle and came out an expert...

"You two seem to be friends already." Burnout growled sarcastically, just as the transport thudded to a stop, the humans aboard beginning the unloading procedures, once the AutoBots were safely out of sight...

"The best" Sidewinder said- about to make another sarcastic remark when suddenly, the transport's entrance opened with a mechanical hum, acting like a ramp. Sidewinder drove out of the hanger and down the hanger, following where the humans were directing him..

Breakaway transformed into robot mode once he rolled out of the transport, which was easier for him than his jet mode, and he walked after Sidewinder and the humans...

Burnout followed after Sidewinder, the humans escorting them to the back of the hanger the transport now inhabited, greeted by the sight of Optimus Prime...or a projection of him. A relatively small device at the end of the hanger projected a blue-tinged image of the AutoBot leader, which moved realistically, as if he was in the room with them. "I'm sorry I could not be there to hear your report, AutoBots. But the humans have told me plenty. I must hear the fine details, however, so we can decide our next move." the projection emitted as soon as they got close, Optimus' tone very calm and serious...

The jet sputtered in the air, soaring over the vegetation below, transforming in mid-air with a grunt, crashing into a few trees, snapping them off their bases as it went, eventually maneuvering onto his feet, slamming into the ground in a crouch, the damaged trees crashing around him. Starscream let out an electronic wheeze, sparks jumping from his body as he stood, watching as a helicopter moved toward the destruction of his landing, moving cautiously, as if approaching a rabid dog. "Air Commander...do you require aid?" Jetlag questioned just as cautiously as he moved, Starscream staring at the helicopter hatefully. "You...you DARE ask that now?! You leave your superior to fight alone in battle, only to show your face after the danger as passed?! You will PAY for your incompetence!" Starscream roared, swinging his arm at the helicopter threateningly, which stopped abruptly in the air...

Sidewinder tapped the side of his head with his right index finger, his green eyes flashing white momentarilly, before projecting the images that he took of the constructicons, the shrine, a blurry picture of the strange device a cluster of the robots were working on and their guard. "The decepticons...are up to something devious Optimus, and no doubt it has something to do with the Energon" The new Autobot warrior said..

"That much seems clear, yes..." Optimus commented, a hand covering his visor-covered mouth for a moment, thinking. "Whatever they intend to do, it must not come to pass. You have done your job, AutoBots, and you have done well. This information will allow us to prevent something that could effect this entire planet...you've earned your rest, but I'm afraid it must not be long." Optimus announced somewhat grimly, nodding to the AutoBots before the projection disappeared, the AutoBot leader clearly busy. "Well...I guess its back to recon for me." Burnout said equally as grimly, now in robot form, having transformed while Sidewinder spoke...

"And learning to fit in with the human world for me" Sidewinder replied. "and, ya know..recon" Before falling foward a bit, micellaneous body parts twisting about and rearranging so that the robot fell onto the tires of his battered disguise. "You know a place where we can patch this up?" Sidewinder asked.

"Attention HQ. this is Roadrage. we have Decepticons moving into the Capital. they're numbered at two. currently trailing them. they seem to be attempting to gather intel" came a transmission from Roadrage as he followed th two Decepticons at a distance of roughly 100 yards. ahead, Overcast drove in the direction of the White House, trying to keep as much distance between himself and the bulldozer that was tagging along as possible...

Breakaway shrugged and said, "I guess I'll go with you guys? I've been itching to some real work."

Burnout overhead the transmission, which was received by a group of humans working a communications device in the hanger. "Oh joy...the Decepticons are pissed. As if there was any doubt." he commented, turning to Sidewinder first. "I'd ask around the base, as I intend to do. Breakaway, I guess your the one to help out the others." he said, shrugging, as he looked at Breakaway. Sidewinder and he required repairs...while they couldn't know how many other AutoBots were sent to investigate the report, Breakaway could, at the very least, aid them in fending off the Decepticons...

Sidewinder drove out of the hanger, regretfully, he couldnt help out this time. Not after the thrashing that came with fighting Starscream. "Good luck Breakaway!" He said as he left through where he came. "Dont come back too damaged"

"Don't you worry about that," Breakaway replied, converting to jet mode as he made his way out of the hangar. "I'm supremely qualified at staying out of enemy fire." Jet engines flaring, Breakaway launched into the air, heading towards the Decepticons' location...

"Yea.." Sidewinder said as he saw Breakaway zoom off. "We're aren't going to see him again, are we Burnout?" He messaged to the elderly bot, joking, but the premise was there- Sidewinder used to think like him...
