After searching the hull for an entrance, Galaak eventually found himself at the front of the ship where spotted the ramp, the murky swamp water running along the end. "Oh yes...leave the entrance open. I'm sure alien wildlife and germs would simply love to have a look around your transport." Galaak muttered to himself, almost insulted. A warship so tightly sealed everywhere else only to have the front door wide open made his search seem redundant and a waste of time. If the Cephians detected his suit's power output during that time, it only added to the Ascatian's irritation. He could almost imagine the mercenaries reveling in the fact they took him for a fool despite the fact they had lost a comrade not too long ago. He ordered the robot down with a quick command from the wrist module. The droid gripped the hull's panels with its four fingered hands, the tips magnetically clinging to the surface. Galaak's own suit was equipped with this function, used as a way to move about outside his vessel in space. It was also what allowed him to store his weapons on his back. The robot began to crawl down to the ramp, rotating its body around its shoulder joints when it was near so that it could drop down legs first. It landed silently and Galaak tapped into its visual feed, a box appearing on his suit's visor, displaying what the droid saw.

The door stayed open, and no life signs could be detected coming from the entrance. It was unlikely that anything other than the Cephians was inside, considering the small wildfire from earlier. The inside of the ship was dimly lit with red lighting, and seemed to almost radiate cold. Naturally, the inside of the warship was obviously chilled, just like the Cephians' suits...

The robot moved forward into the ship, looking around the metal corridor, the ruby colored light reflecting off the walls. Galaak linked up the robot to E-doch's scanners, expecting the ship to be rigged up with devices to track or detect him- if not outright kill him. He would be able to pick up on them as the droid progressed, while simultaneously adding to his databanks regarding Cephian technology. He didn't have Kala to inform him of the warship's interior, so he would have to learn as he went...

As the droid entered the doorway, it triggered a silent alarm wired to Zakai's suit, and he watched eagerly through a screen in the ship's security room that showed the view from a hidden security camera just inside the initial corridor. After a few moments of seeing nothing, Zakai snarled. "Ah, so you have cloaking as well? We'll see how long that lasts..."

A few seconds later, and the entire hallway began to glow a shimmering blue color emitting a high-pitched beeping that quickly sped up in frequency, before finally releasing an invisible EMP blast, catching everything that was walking through the hall... including the cloaked droid, frying its circuits, if not only the cloaking device...

The droid rippled into view, its limbs folded into its body. The large dark gray and white orb simply laid in the hallway for a moment, before emitting a loud beeping noise, eyes flashing warningly, posing as a bomb...

Zakai eyed the droid through the viewscreen with surprise, but he wasn't going to fall for that trick. He was surprised the machine was capable of doing anything after the EMP, but explode, especially with Kala inside? He chuckled at the thought, though the bluff was impressive. Besides, if it really was a bomb, he doubted he could stop it in time from here. Instead of taking action, he simply activated the intercom of the ship, his voicing grating through a speaker in the entrance corridor: "Really now? A bomb? You must take me for a fool to think I'll fall for that trick. You wouldn't dare blow up your friend, would you? Come on, Ascatian. Show me what you can really do, eh? I want to see you do this all on your own..." As if to prove a point, a hatch at the far end of the corridor opened, revealing another dimly-lit hallway from which yet another Cephian Trooper drone emerged (Zakai practically had a surplus of the d*mn things, they were so cheap to manufacture). The drone didn't bother approaching the droid, instead charging its MOAR and firing, the freeze ray turning the droid into an ice-covered statue of its former self...

In the time it took for the trooper to fire its frigid weapon, the droid's legs shot out from underneath, sending the robot into the air as the shot flew underneath. Its legs tucked back into its body as its arms latched onto the ceiling, the robot's wheels beginning to spin backwards. Seconds later it let go, dropping to the ship's floor and speeding down the corridor which it came. The robot was an asset, and Galaak wasn't going to let it be destroyed so easily. He would have it return to E-doch for automated repairs while he braved the Warship himself. The Ascatian cut the connection to the robot and pulled up a column of water that bended over to one side before freezing, forming a make shift platform that bridged the gap to the ramp. He dropped down onto it before stepping onto the incline, staring down at the trooper some distance in within the ship...

"Ah, there you are," Zakai's voice crackled, ignoring the droid as it sped away. "What's that human phrase I picked up from their communications again? 'Time to tango?' Oh, yes, that's it..." As if on cue, the Trooper shot forward, hovering a foot off the ground and speeding straight for Galaak, aware that its weapons would be useless against a foe who could manipulate the rounds. In melee combat, however, the drone may just have an advantage...

The ice bridge melted into a coiling spout of water at Galaak's side, the speed of its spinning growing faster and faster with the Ascatian's concentrated will. The trooper was nearing ever closer with its tendrils poised to strike, but Galaak forced both his hands forward, directing the flow of water right at the trooper with incredible speed

With a speed and sudden change of direction no organic could ever hope to accomplish, the Trooper zipped to the side, its tentacles clamping magnetically to the wall of the corridor and crouching against the wall, letting the water just barely pass it by...

Galaak swung his arms upward, the stream mimicking the motion and hammering into the drone before Galaak flicked his wrists, the machine suddenly encased as the leading portion of the torrent froze over in an instant...

Though encased in ice and immobile, the Trooper was still fully active and aware, struggling in its frozen binds to escape. Zakai watched with a chuckle. "We'll see how well that works next time, Ascatian..."

Galaak, ignoring Zakai's voice moved his arms downwards, the stream following his action as if it were another one of his limbs. Segments of the trooper's legs that clung to the ceiling were ripped from the rest of its body in the process and the trooper was brought towards the Ascatian in the frozen block. More water rose from the surrounding marsh, swirling around the block, gradual freezing increasing its mass and density...

"Well, if that's the way you want it..." Zakai growled, tapping a few controls on his armored wrist...

A second later, the Trooper prematurely self-destructed, vaporizing it and the surrounding ice, and shards that survived flying in every direction like a giant fragmentation grenade...

Surprised, Galaak swung his arms apart, the shards of ice revering back into their liquid state. When Galaak brought his hands together, the suspended blobs of water came together as well, being fed by several small streams from the marshland. A mist appeared in front of the armored explorer as he began to draw water from the moist air as well, the block of ice reforming rapidly...

Zakai watched the events unfold, muttering to himself, "What are you up to..." He debated on whether or not to activate the ship's automated defense systems, but that would have been boring. He was at least curious as to what the Ascatian was going to do next...

Galaak continued his work with a strange calmness. Without any more drones appearing, he assumed Zakai was being humored by all this in some way. Perhaps he was waiting for him to finish before activating his ship's guns, though in this position so close to the ship's entrance, exterior guns would cause more damage to the ship's hull. Paying little mind to that however, the Ascatian finished his creation, the block of ice growing into something exponentially larger than himself, a small ice berg of sorts. With a guttural snarl, Galaak swung his entire body around, the large block following the motion and soaring out to the side of the warship. Galaak swung about the other way, the ice berg crashing into an engine nacelle. Chunks of ice rained down into the water, but a fairly large dent into the engine's plating was the visible damage that had been done. The impact would have surely damaged the motorized components that controlled the engine's rotation...

Zakai's voice interrupted Galaak yet again. "Try that again, Ascatian. I dare you. It's almost as if you WANT to die now." In truth, the fact that Galaak was attempting to sabotage his warship was laughable at best. He had dented the engine nacelle, sure, but it would take more than a few hits from a big block of ice to truly cripple his ship without risking Kala's life in the process. Still, he'd rather not take the risk, and was prepared to activate autopilot and take off, bombing Galaak to dust, if he tried it again...

Galaak stopped for a moment, as if thinking over Zakai's words. Moments later, he eased the ice into the water, creating a gentle wave that rippled out over it. The block collapsed in upon itself, melting rapidly into the shallows. He put his left hand on his right wrist, as if he was trying to ease a pain there...

"Good boy," Zakai growled with a chuckle. "Aw, you look tired. Why don't you come on in and rest a bit? I'll be sure to lay out the welcome mat, as it were, hehe..."
