Carter wiped foam from his mouth, and spread his fingers out. Each one now had a long, pointy claw. He threw his hands to his side, barked out at Drake and ran at him, slashing his claws criss - cross in front of him.

Drake stared at the oncoming attacker with an eagle's focus, waiting for the right moment, before lunging forward as the Werewolf crossed his arms, grabbing onto the wrists and kneeing the werewolf in the stomach repeatedly, before dragging the Werewolf down by the wrists and placing his blade over the wound on it's back, slashing again, before kneeing the Wolf in the jaw with enough strength to knock it's head upwards, forcing it upright as he landed a sharp kick in the stomach, sending the wolf tumbling back. looking at the pitiful state the wolf was in, he sighed. "I never asked for a fight...i'd rather talk some sense into you...at least that way you'd be able to walk afterwards...but you insisted" he said, a note of regret in his voice. "If you continue to force me to fight you, i won't hold back on more dangerous methods...i WILL kill you if you force me to...i leave the choice...to you" he added, as his armblades widened, the bladed edges extending full length, serrations appearing in the claw-like tips...

Carter cocked his head to the side, his pathetic form standing tall. He took a clawed hand and moved his long dirty hair out of the way. He looked at him with a bloody eye. And then he grinned.

"And why should I not kill you?"

Drake sighed. in a split second, the Werewolf was knocked backwards and onto the floor, Drake standing where the Werewolf had been standing not 2 seconds earlier, about 6 feet away from him. "Are you sure you want me to go that far? think of the benefit you could gain through lessons, explanations, rather than the death you're hurling yourself wrecklessly towards without a second thought. you're still young, Werewolf. you have alot more ahead of you. alot more to learn. you haven't reached the point where you could call yourself powerful. call yourself a real Hunter of Supernaturals. as much as you force me to fight you, i don't really want to kill you. merely because you have yet to see the big picture. still so blinded by hate....by rage...unable to see past that, to see how different the world is from how you see it. it would be a crime for me to kill you now...as much a crime as it would be to slaughter a child for touching his father's gun" said Drake calmly, his hands at his sides, his eyes locked onto the Werewolf...

Carter looked up at him, a fracture in his anger happening when he mentioned the fact that he was blinded by it. A bullet popped out of his chest, and he spoke. "Do you know... How many of you're kind I've killed? It would be a sin, for you not to kill me. It would be betraying you're own kind. I deserve to die just as much as you do. Tell me what reason you would have not to kill you." He stared at him with big, yellow eyes.

"I never was one to side with the Blood Suckers. my friends here are an exception, and with good reason. even though only one of them is a true, full blooded Vampire, they all have that influence. and none of them are anything like what you believe Vampires are...though i must admit, most Vampires are what you see, and do deserve to be taken out. remember though that not all of them are like that by choice. as for how many you've killed, it doesn't matter. in my time, i've probably killed several hundred times as many, of all kinds, Vampires included. But, unlike you, I know, for a fact, that every last one deserved their fate. In the end, death meets us all. i don't care when and who kills me...but i have one goal to achieve before that time......to kill Kagan....the most powerful Vampire alive at the moment....my father" hissed Drake as he stood, staring the Werewolf head on, his eyes still cold as stone, though a flash of emotion seemed to come up at the mention of his father, before quickly fading back to their stone cold state...

... Kagan. ... The word made his heart skip a beat. His yellow eyes grew wide, and his mouth opened a bit. His claws gripped the earth beneath him. "I... You... You're going after Kagan? THE Kagan?" His pupils stayed yellow, but lost there Canine look. He tried to say something else, but all that came out was a stutter.

Drake noted the tone the Werewolf took. "He's the one that ruined my life as a child. he's the reason i have no living relatives aside from him....and his endless list of blood thirsty, back stabbing children...he killed my family...now i intend to kill his.....all of them" he said...

Carter raised a claw, pointing it at Drake. "So... You... You... You're going to try and take on Kagan... And all of Kagan's Vampires...?"

His heart beat fast inside him.

"That's what i've been doing for the last 800 years. other Vampires and Supernaturals i've killed were either lackeys follwing him and his children around, or side jobs to get me funds to gear myself for situations i otherwise couldn't handle" said Drake calmly....

He looked at him, just for a moment... His heart was beating inside. He didn't understand. This was his enemy, his sworn enemy. The thing he made a vow to hunt down and exterminate. And yet... Something inside told him not to. Something deep, deep down inside him told him that he could kill so many Vampires... Avenge so many Lycan's, if he could just work with this one. Just this one time... And yet he still fought it. His twisted mine was telling him different things, and he did not understand it. He forced himself up, clutching his head. He stumbled away from Drake, going in different directions. His Psycho mind was tearing him apart. He cried out, asking for help. "Skarbrand...! We need... We need to go!"

Drake moved so he was between Skarbrand and the Werewolf. "That's an example of your biggest problems. that Demon is one of the creatures who strives to do what you hate Vampires for. his goal is to torture, to kill. all he wants is power. to force everyone around him into submission, or kill them. if you follow him, you'll become what you hate most. you will BECOME the killer you strive to slaughter for their actions" said Drake warningly, his voice now seeming to echo in the Werewolf's mind as he applied a touch of his Vampiric ability to keep the Werewolf's ears open to him. their fight had put them several yards from the original fighting place, the Demon and the others fighting it still a fair distance off, giving Drake time to try and smooth out the Werewolf's thoughts. once again, he was thankful normal methods weren't all he had at his disposal for this situation. with pursuasion and other tools to call forth should rational talking fail, he was almost sure he could steer the Werewolf off the course to self destruction it seemed to be taking...

A hooded figure sat silently in a bench of the church in the middle of nowhere. His partner at the front of the the great hall suddenly spoke up. Well that should do it, he said dropping a few bills in a basket. with a smile he walked over and sat in the bench in front of the figure. So... when are we leaving. he asked in a cheery tone. The figure sat silently. We have all the time in the world to get to where we're going... lets wait a few hours. The figure said removing his hood. Jeez Desh, so looking forward to get home but taking it slow. The silver haired werewolf smiled in response looking past his own blackened bangs. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a harmonica looking at it intrigueingly. He brought the small instrument to his lips and began to play a silent mellow tone in the silence of the holy house.

Thanatos shook off and groaned. "He's right you know," he said. Nyx suddenly smacked her head. "What are we doing we have wings!" she said and conjured up her bat wings. "Are we complete cripples or what?!" Diana chuckled and started flapping as well. "Hey ugly!" she called then made a strawberry in his face.

The harmonica suddenly stopped playing as Korso opened his eyes looking up at Desh to see an odd expression on his face, as though lost in thought but as if he were an empty husk with no mind. Desh? You alright? The werewolf remained silent. There was a sudden twitch of his eye and Korso realized he was on his back on the floor at the sound of a gunshot as the bullet shattered the wood of the bench where he had been sitting not more than a split second prior. He rolled to the side to see Desh standing firm facing one of the many crumbling holes in the church's roof. Damn, you're fast i'll give you that. Korso said as he stood up brushing off dust. Desh stood solid silent, the look in his eye utterly focused. Damn wolf, a voice suddenly said outloud. A figure stood on the edge of one of the gaping holes, wearing a tattered brown coat, dirt covered jeans, black sunglasses and holding somekind of rifle that neither Desh nor Korso took the time to identify. His beard was well trimmed though making it the one decent part in his rugged appearance.
Hey buddy, Korso called up. Whats with the trying to blow my head off!? You! Traitor, you deserve to get your head blown off after the stunt you pulled. the man said. Oh come on it was an honest mistake. Korso groaned. Desh remained rigid but in a relaxed voice spoke up. You have no right to take his life, no one does, come down here we can talk about this. The man stared silently before throwing his head back in a loud laugh. Me? Come down there? So you can rip me limb from limb, not a chance! His laughing stopped and immediately his face took on a stern expression. I'm warning you wolf dont get in my way.

The shadowy figure materialized inside the abandoned complex, which remained empty, but anyone could feel the energy radiating off of the building. "How goes our progress, my master?" the shadowy creature echoed, eyes shining in the darkness. "All is well...for now. We have identified a number of threats in this region...but it is nothing we can't deal with." an unholy voice growled from the back of the building. The wraith bowed his head in acknowledgment, slowly fading out of view. "Dalvengyr...find out what you can about the vampires..." the voice said after a few moments of silence, referring to the beings who ambushed the demon a while ago. Another figure stepped out of the back of the building, the hooded demon heading out of the broken down complex without another word. Behind him, more figures materialized from the darkness, stepping out into the open.

The creatures were fearsome in appearance, ash-colored skin stretched over skeletal faces, while their bodies were muscular and strong, wearing black and gold cloth pants, the same cloth draped over their shoulders, strange other-worldly patterns spread across their clothing. Crimson spiked helms rested on their heads, only covering the top of their head and eyes, the demons carried massive blades sheathed on their backs, carrying firearms ranging from M4s to TMPs. Five of them followed the lead demon, leaving scorched ground behind them as they progressed into the city...

Skarbrand smirked. "You think that'll help you?" he snarled, his own wings powering him into the air. "You are only delaying the inevitable, fools! Give up now, and I might make your deaths quick!"

Diana growled in annoyance. "So you can fly too, doesn't mean you're faster!" she said like a petulant child. To prove it, she started zipping in and out landing blows with her whip. "I'd rather you die the slow and painful death you deserve," Thanatos snarled and also started zipping in and out.

Skarbrand chuckled. "I'd like to see you try, Vampire!" He lashed out with one arm, timing it so that Thanatos flew full-speed into it. Pushing the stunned Vampire away, Skarbrand turned to Diana, his whip lashing out as if it had a mind of its own, wrapping around her ankle and slamming her into the ground.

Meanwhile, the Bloodletters had recovered and were returning to assist Skarbrand, this time with a little surprise in store...

Desh glared at the man, You think you can take me? Go ahead and try. Suddenly a bullet slammed into Desh's shoulder knocking him backwards and landing on his side. I warned you wolf, now for you Korso. The man said as he cocked the rifle and turned it toward the so-called preacher. As he began to squeeze the trigger a faint chuckling filled the siloent hall followed by groaning. Both figures turned their heads to Desh who began to get up with a smirk on his face. The werewolf held out his arm and opened his hand revealing the flattened bloody remnants of the bullet that had struck him. He tossed it aside as it hit the ground with a metallic jingle as Desh turned his head to the shooter. Could you do any worse, especially with a gun that can knock me down? The man in a state of panic swiftly shifted his aim and fired but it was a moment too late as the bullet ricochetted off the ground where Desh had been. The man cocked the rifle again but as he lowered the angle to fire but before he could get the shot off Desh leaped up grabbing the barrel pushung it toward the cieling and pushing the man of the edge of the roof as Desh now stood in his place on the narrow strip of footing of the gaping hole in the roof. The man unwillingly closed his eyes and began to cower for a moment but after a little while opened again to find himself dangling above the ground fifty feet below. He then looked toward Desh who simply stared back at him pathetically.
