"well. the main problem will be timing. if we don't time this perfectly, we could be looking at repercussions if Zerenski has any ties that might know how to track us down. what's left is down to skill. i don't know exactly what Siete's capable of, apart from what records say, which, unfortunately, isn't much. i know Zerenski's a tough fighter, but i haven't fought him personally before, so i can't really say in detail what habits he might have. all i know is that every Brimstone agent sent after him so far either wound up dead because of him or because of his security" said Drake...

Nyx licked her lips. "Well, we know he's capable of murder, kidnapping, abuse, and other such unpleasantries," Diana said rearranging herself on the chair so that she was upside down. Thanatos nodded. "And he has connections," he added.

"It's not that easy," Diana said. "You don't think during our slave times with him someone hasn't tried that?" Thanatos said. "It only paralyzes him for... 10 seconds?" Nyx said then turned to Diana and Thanatos for confirmation. They nodded. "The only weaknesses he has are fire or decapitation," Diana said.

"Then do one of those!" Wisp replied, an exasperated tone to her voice. "You have fire-wielding Demons and swords. Now go fix the problem!"

"That's not so easy either," Diana said. "He has enhanced super speed, strength, and senses," Thanatos added. "The older you get, the stronger, faster, more acute you get," Nyx finished.

"So are vamp powers, they just get better as you age," Thanatos said. "Yeah seriously, if Cain was alive now, you wouldn't be able to get within a 20 ft radius of him, let alone strike him first," Nyx said.

The shadowy mist, now appearing simply as cigarette smoke, hovered over the conversing group, the golden eyes flickering in and out of the smoke. "They are massing together...the demons...they grow in numbers for a reason...they will turn against you...all those you love...will die..." the voice echoed within the heads of the two hybrids and vampire, referring to the demon they were now arguing with...

"Genesis, the beginning, the beginning of time, of earth itself," Nyx said. "Did you ever listen biblical stories at all?!" Suddenly Diana held her head and turned over. Thanatos gripped his as well and so did Nyx after her explaination.

Wisp's eyes glowed red again, and she hissed, "Hey! Don't make me--" She was cut off by Velkor putting a hand over her mouth, which she furiously mumbled into. "You don't want to know what she's saying, trust me."

"I'll take your word for it, this time," Thanatos said with a grin. "I want to hear it," Diana said teasingly. "Stop it, Di," Thanatos warned. "Alright, alright," Diana said and slumped back into her former position.
