The small crab-like machine watched the Imperial and TDGA fleets silently...the Vong assault had weakened the fleet yet again. Making fairly basic assumptions, the machine knew more Vong were heading their way, hence the Imperial fleet sticking around. It had originally thought to strike out after the first wave...but this was a much better solution. They would wait...wait until the Vong had tried their best to destroy the fleets. Once they were crippled by the constant fighting, they would make sure Revan would not escape...

once Serephir had returned to the bridge, he had the order sent to the damaged part of the Defense fleet from the first Imperial assault, the ships by now almost entirely repaired and rearmed, to head for Trandosha and meet up with the remainder of the Occupation fleet, which made up roughly 1/4 of the original force, another quarter having gone with Serephir on his Sovereign hunt. in the mean time, he gave the order to have the PSC charged before he went into Hyperspace...he wanted to be able to use it to turn whatever might've been transpiring in his favour should the need arise.

Lissarkh paced around the bridge impatiently, wanting to get to he fighting as soon as possible...

Grievous, taking Revan's warning seriously, purposefully put several gaps in his battle line guarding Trandosha. Any landing forces on the planet would immediately be met by heavy ground bombardment from his forces on the surface. He was hoping not single Vong could get a kill planetside...

The second half of the original Vardian Defense Fleet returned to Trandosha, now fully repaired and rearmed, a large black, ridged oval craft drifting in, two extended parts of the hull arcing forward to form a blunt trident-like form. the H.V.M.S. Revenge drifted forward at the head of the fleet. "This is the Galactic Battleship Revenge of the Vardian Royal Navy. Requesting briefing from the TGDA Fleet Command Ship, Malevolence" came a call via the closed comm network...

Grievous replied, "This is the Malevolence. The Empire are, for the time being, allies, not enemies. I repeat, the Empire is currently an ally of the TGDA. We are planning a joint attack on the hostile forces of the Vong, who are attempting to invade Imperial and TGDA territory."

"What can you tell us about the Vong? anything that may give us a fighting edge" said Vice Admiral Temerev as he began looking through the various potential Defense plans for Trandosha, supplied by the ship's TMPU...

"They use no artificial technology," replied Grievous. "They use strictly organic tech, and its very tough to fight against. I have all the information the Empire has." He sent the information to the H.V.M.S Revenge...

"Well so far the Vardians havent attacked us.." Piett shrugged as he looked at the Dark Lord of the Sith who eyed the situation.
"That's good but no sign of their main man...I'll just assume he'll show up at the last moment" Revan responded. "I wont be surprised...but when he does arrive, it will be a great help" Revan added on.
"As for the Annihilator, you did extend the length of the ship to only further add more weapons and such. You really were preparing this ship.." Piett said, taking note of the return to Courscant for upgrades and repairs.
"Recent fighting have convinced me to do so" Revan answered in response.
"Sir, Imperial Reinforcements will be arriving soon enough but they've just brought news...long range scanners from Sector 0.0 have picked up something...all we know that its alot bigger then the first task force" An Imperial Officer reported from the bridge which remained in the busy Imperial crew pit.
The Imperial Fleet aboard Trandsoha remained in their positions...waiting for the new threat to come and waiting for the needed reinforcements. The Vong were quick and relentless...they were going to strike but with much greater strength but nobody would be expecting what would happen next..

The crab-like machine swerved around to face a different direction, detecting something heading toward Trandosha. The small drone was clawing on the surface of a very large asteroid, the various fields of space debris and rock hiding it well. As demonstrated before, not all asteroids were as they appeared...but these weren't the heavily armored versions used against the Imperials. These were lightly armored false asteroids filled with radar and sensor jamming equipment...it made the area around them practically invisible to all but the naked eye.

Once the Vong have been dealt with...proceed as planned. If the Annihilator is at risk of destruction during the battle...destroy its immediate foes. the crab-like machine messaged seemingly no one, using a private contact line to prevent interception of transmissions. As the order was issued, the surface of the asteroid seemed to move...a sleek, yet massive form rising up, taking up most of the equally enourmous asteroid, its surface almost identical to the massive space rock. A glowing visor appeared on the form, its two pincer-like limbs rotating slowly at first, eventually increasing in speed, its tail arching above its main body...the Devastator Metal Gear was active...

Grievous detected the incoming Vong ships from his border patrols, who gave him the information when they returned to Trandosha. "All ships, prepare for combat!" He barked, the TGDA fleet moving into formation...

"No...this cant be..." Piett mumbled. The readings were coming...the data was now revealing what Trandosha was now truely facing. Numbers couldnt be determined but what can be inferred that mass fleet which was easily growing as it got closer and closer. It wouldnt be long till all the combined ships defending Trandosha would be outnumbered. With each minute, it just seemed the new arriving Vong Force was growing and growing..
"Make sure those reinforcements get here now and prepare for battle as soon as possible. This fleet that's coming....were not prepared..." Revan said towards Piett, the armored Sith Lord fully aware of what was going to happen. Facts were starting to show something...something that just about near unstoppable.
Piett swallowed, the way Revan reacted...it meant things were going to turn out good.

"Go Warmaster...deal with this vermin..." The Dread Lord's message was sent to the Warmaster. This simple short message would start a battle unlike those of before...The Vong Overlord was preparing for his arrival but before that, he would send the legendary Warmaster to do his damage.

"Yes, Overlord," replied Tsavong Lah, the villip's form shrinking back to normal. His fleet joined with the rest of the Yuuzhan Vong ships en route to Trandosha, and the Warmaster contacted another Vong through another villip: "Commander Shedao Shai, you will lead the ground assault. Destroy these pitiful creatures, and make Clan Shai worthy again!"

Out of nowhere, several hundred Imperial Ships of various classes and sizes appeared in formation. They were already briefed of the situation but while the reinforcements wasnt surprising...it was the odd number. The hundreds of Imperial Ship that came in where mostly Star Destroyers...ships meant for heavy duty fighting. A few torpedo spheres were mixed in with support ships.
"Grievous...I dont know what if you're aware but soon...your going to have a enormous fleet right at your doorstep. I cant clarify a number but trust me when I say this....this fleet is BIG" Revan said, the transmission being sent to the TGDA flagship...

"Woe to our foes...woe to our foes" the chant went on and on...the Vong Warriors waited patiently. Trandosha was nearby and they would arrive soon...
Their bloody crusade was about to a hit a climax.

"What results do you have on the Weapons check?" asked the Vice Admiral, the Bridge Commander having a thin screen-like projection from what looked like a notepad. "From our look over, we've established that the weapons most likely to damage the Vong are: Narrow-Pulse Injector Thermonuclear Missiles, Plasma cannons, though, if they're as tough as the information suggests, we're going to need some of our more powerful ships to take out anything the size of a Star Destroyer or bigger. we have the Incendiary Plasma Penetration shells. if we could rip into their hulls, fires would break out all over the ships in a matter of minutes. Phosphorous shells would also work very well against organic weapons. we have the more traditional railguns on various ships. those generally can punch holes through just about anything within their size range. then of course, we have the Hexapulse Super Turrets and PSCs. the PSC in particular, should, judging by the nature of the target, rip through most of them like tissue paper. it'd just pull their armour apart on a molecular level. the Hexapulse turrets are basically the embodiment of the ideal plasma cannons for this situation" explained the Commander. "I see. in that case, make sure the meapons systems operating on those types are especially alert"...

As the crab-like machine monitored the situation, it quickly noticed something...despite the massive fleet of Vong heading toward the combined fleets, another ship, coming from a different direction, was heading there as well, apparently taking advantage of the lack of border guards. The craft was small...only able to carry a small group of people at one time, judging by the sensor readings fed directly to the drone by the false asteroids. Such a craft would not stand a fraction of a chance against the enourmous ships surrounding Trandosha...the machine could easily deduce that the craft was there for another purpose other then an attack against the planet...

Grievous replied to Revan, "I am aware of their size, Revan. I assure you, The Vong will not get past my fleet." However, the cyborg had doubts. The Yuuzhan Vong had technologies that he had never seen before, and he doubted anyone else had either. The dovin basals could produce miniature black holes for just long enough to absorb any type of projectile, their Plasma Cannons ignored energy shielding completely, and the coral making up their ships was extremely tough...

the Vice Admiral, deciding it would be more helpful for the entire fleet to know what they were dealing with, sent the information registered to Serephir, via a specialised Probe Drone, which entered Hyperspace the moment it left the ship's hanger. Meanwhile, the General examined the details more thoroughly. the Dovin Basals would be a problem for the older warships and Drones in the fleet. he took note of the information on the Plasma weapons. they were confirmed to eat through Deflector Shields and standard energy shields, but that was something that barely conscerned the Vardians. in an attempt to free themselves of the standard technology everyone else used, the Vardians had come up with a compound shielding system which contained, among other things, Light bending shielding systems to redirect laser shots, and Virtual Barrier Fields which made most plasma projectiles of average calibers all but useless, as well as making some of the larger ships in the fleet capable of working as very comfortable battering rams, the shields being so immense that they could, in some cases, ram similar sized warships without a second thought. they were also equipped with specialised armour that would deal with moderate caliber plasma ammunition with very little trouble...

The small craft soared through empty space as it neared Transhoda somewhat triangular in shape, having relatively small "wings" pointing back from its main body, various hard points lining the wings. The whole craft was somewhat like a fighter, but was larger then typical fighters, with a larger variety of weapons. The ship, as it neared communication range, broadcasted a message to the fleets, its voice almost sounding machine-like: "I must speak with the operative in charge of this organization."

Grievous growled irritably in is throat. "Another visitor..." he snarled to himself, then opened a communications link with the new craft, knowing it wouldn't be a threat. "This is him. What do you want?" he asked, somewhat brusquely.

"I am here to protect the ones called General Grievous and General Serephir. Where might I find them?" the craft's operator responded, as if discussing business...
