"Revert the power from the engines and into the weapons and shields!" Revan commanded. The Dark Lord of the Sith eyed the seemingly new command ship. It had the appearance and presence. Revan knew if he just take that ship out...then the Vong would begin to panic and all sense of unity would be broken. The Annihilator's main weapon was currently being charged in preparation as the Imperial Flagship unleashed its true power. Particle Missiles and the Advanced Super Lasers weapon systems came online as devastating missiles that can blast apart continents and super laser weapons that can destroy capital ships in one shot were being unleashed in this no holds barred match.
Revan suddenly noticed another force....only more Vong. But there was something about this fleet...there was something amount it that was easily making things more complicated. But just out of nowhere, Vong Reinforcements arrived. Soon the Imperials, Vardians and TDGA were facing several grand assault fleets.
"Grievous...things are looking really bad. Were outnumbered and being outgunned. Evacuate what people you can from your planet, we have to get out of here or else we'll be dead" Revan's transmission was sent to the Droid Flagship...retreating was their only choice and as cowardly as may have possibly sound...it was the only thing they would ensure survival.

the onslaught continued, as the Manticores locked onto some of the more powerful ship, firing as a group, a series of whitish orbs zooming towards the ships, which, accompanied by the rest of the Vardian fleet's firepower, distracted the Dovin Basals, revealing reddish shells moving at several times the speed of the pre-shot distractions, the reddish shells slamming into the side of one of the numerous worldships, massive nuclear explosions tearing across its hull, though the appearances didn't even show a fraction of the damage the Injector Nuclear Warheads had done to the hull, having been designed for penetration...

the Executioner continued to bombard the Worldships with plasma shells, the Hexapulse Super Cannons working in tune with the ship's thousands of Neutron missiles and particle cannons to overwhelm the enemy ships' Dovin Basals. the immense amount of ordinance coming in from all sides, it'd be near impossible for the Vong to hold back the attack with their Dovin Basals for long...and the centers of these black-hole shields were being monitored...

"Not yet!" barked Grievous. "I have a score to settle with the Vong's ground commander. Whoever it is, they seem to know what they're doing, and I'm going to make sure they die before my home planet is taken!" Nevertheless, he sent an evacuation order to Trandosha, ordering all Trandoshans and any droids they could spare to retreat to Geonosis...

The Legacy of Torment focused its fire on the Vardians now, letting the rest of the fleet focus on their weaker allies. The massive tower fired on the Manticores, the sheer power and force of the plasma cannons tearing through them with relative ease. The ship began releasing massive amounts of Vong Slayer ships, more powerful versions of the Coralskippers, with more powerful dovin basals, six yaret-kors (Plasma cannons) instead of just one, and a dedicated Hyperdrive powered by the dovin basals. The ships swarmed over the Mantas, pounding them relentlessly.

"Things are getting complicated...my kind of battle..." Spectre droned as he followed Grievous and the droid guards. He had observed the battle as best as he could aboard the Malevolence, but he was far more interested in fighting on the ground...

The Annihilator began to provide support from the Executioner as several particle distingerator missiles slammed into enemy ships that attacked the Vardians. Vong Ships were then suddenly incinerated within seconds as the devastating and overwhelming barrage of anti capital ship turbo laser obliterated Vong Ships in return. The multiple Super Lasers on the Annihilator fired every few seconds, each shot taking several vong ships with it. The main super laser cannon was still being charged which was currently being prepared to try and take out the Legacy of Torment.

The multiple super lasers from the smaller but still powerful Mammoth Star Dreadnoughts provided strong support for the Annihilator. Each Star Dreadnought was equivalent to several of the regular Vong Capital ships.

Revan narrowed his eyes at Grievous's pride choice of move but the General had pride and wasnt going to give up without a fight. "Very well.." Revan's eyes suddenly darted towards Piett as more information came in.

"New Vong Fleet, they'll be here in 30 seconds" Piett warned. The Dark Lord gritted his teeth, things were looking bad.

Tsavong Lah laughed as the new fleet arrived, continuing his bombardment on the Manticores, which seemed to be the toughest ships he had seen so far. This battle would be easy from now on...

Grievous, his bodyguards, and Spectre all boarded the tram and went back to the hangar. Grievous climbed into his personal shuttle with them, and the ship soon took off, streaking down towards Trandosha, while various transports holding the Trandoshan refugees headed into Hyperspace, fleeing to Geonosis...

the Mantas, using the various vectored thrusters built into their sleek black hulls, pulled up and flipped, returning fire at the incoming Coral skippers, the immense number of high explosive rockets and plasma quickly turning the tables on the battle...

bright flashes were seen as the Vong Flagship attacked the Manticores, the ships' powerful shielding stopping the incoming hits in their tracks, as they returned fire, seething red hot nuclear shells zipping towards the Dovin Basals located around the craft, among the Vardian hailstorm of ordinance, the immense amount overwhelming the Vong shielding equipment, allowing the frighteningly powerful Nuke shells entry, the blasts completely obliterating the targets and continuing onwards, blowing up a few of the coral skippers nearest to the blast radius...

Meanwhile, the Executioner fired the PSC again, making use of the numerous charged shots stored within the ship till this point, one final one being kept in reserve. the PSC blast hit the Legacy of Torment, rapidly tearing away at it's thick yorik coral hull...

The Legacy of Torment, its thick armor protecting it from the PSC for the moment, drifted to the side, letting the beam zoom past. Its massively powerful dovin basals activated, locking a few nearby Mantas in an interdiction field, allowing the weapons tower to destroy them completely, then continue bombarding the Manticores, who wouldn't last for much longer under such heavy attacks.

Suddenly, from seemingly parsecs from the battle, a shell crashed into the side of a Vong warship, the shell detonating on impact. The plasma explosions that followed ripped through the organic ship's defenses, giving it a gaping wound in which the other fleets could exploit. Another shell detonated on one of the largest Vong ships in the ever-expanding fleets, crippling its defenses as well.

The scorpion tail-like cannons of the Devastators were now glowing with red hot energy, the shells packing so much punch and covered vast distances in a few seconds heated the cannons themselves to almost breaking point. As their cannons cooled down, the supposed commander, the crab drone, watched the battle from the asteroids...

Spectre watched as they headed toward Transhoda, arms still folded, waiting for some actual action...

Suddenly out of nowhere, the largest Vong Ship finally made an appearance. This new gigantic worldship was easily hundreds of kilometers wide. Around it were only more Vong Ships of smaller sizes. Just as quickly as it arrived, it raced towards the planet...there was no care at all, anything in the way would have crushed. The Vong easily now having a fleet that was in the thousands..

"He's here..." Revan thought. The Dark Lord of the Sith's anger rose, an evil blood lust filling him. The Overlord of the Vong himself has arrived. There was no doubt at all...they intended on taking Trandosha, no matter how many Vong would die in the process. The newly arrived Vong Ships began to fire accordingly. Thousands of Imperial TIE's flew through space, dropping bombs and everything they could to eradicate enemy ships and provide ship support. The classical Star Destroyers which were a shining symbol of Imperial Might were being hammered into submission. Enormous casualties was all one could expect...

A quick transmission was suddenly then sent to the Vardian Flagship. "This is Revan, its obvious now victory is impossible and we must retreat as soon as possible. We must cover the fleeing civilians and await for Grievous to get off Trandosha. If your thinking about anything else, it's time you throw the idea out"

Immediately, the Vong ships began forcing as many civilian ships as possible to form a screen on the side where the shots had come from. Until they could find the new threat, they would simply keep away from it...

The shuttle soon landed, managing to find a safe landing pad with little trouble. The landing pad, which was located at the tower of Vassek, was guarded by a squad of droid commandos, A-4D, and Grievous' pet, Gor. Gor and A-4D were immediately ordered onto the shuttle by Grievous as he stepped out, followed by his guards. "OOM-224, guard this pad until we return. We are going to slow down the ground attack as much as possible, to save as many citizens as we can." He walked into the tower, heading for the nearest lift to take them down to ground level...

Shedao Shai was leading his warriors towards Vassek, as they cut their way through the droid forces, eager to take the capital...

Tsavong Lah watched as Shimmra's ship headed towards the planet, laughing insanely. "Praise Yun-Yammka! Victory is inevitable!"

The Devastators opened fire once again, the shells zipping through space within seconds, hammering into the largest threats they could find, trying to avoid hitting the civilian ships to make full use of their attacks. One shell hammered itself into one of the larger warships, slipping through two civilian ships. The second shell punctured a civilian ship, detonating when it drove itself further into the ship, the resulting explosion causing it to crash into a few Vong ships nearby...

Spectre followed after Grievous and his guards, remaining silent, swords still sheathed...

the two forward-pointing extensions on either side of the Revenge's main hull began to glow, the twin PSCs on board charging. meanwhile, the hexapulse super turrets on the Revenge and Executioner locked onto the Legacy's Dovin Basals, the thousands of Vardian ships recieving orders to fire at the creatures on the other ships. regardless of the power of the Dovin Basals, the amount of firepower being served out by the combined forces of the Vardians, TGDA and Imperials would undoubtedly destroy them. for extra measure, Serephir contacted both the TGDA and Imperial ships. "This is General Serephir of the Vardian Armed Forces. contacting the Imperial Flagship Annihilator and TGDA Flagship Malevolence. Direct all capital ship fire at the Dovin Basals. if overwhelmed, it won't be too difficult to destroy them. that will leave the enemy helpless. target their flagship. if we can destroy it, it will inflict a significant blow to the enemy and may force them into a retreat. I repeat. Target the Dovin Basals of the enemy Flagship. focus all Capital Ship fire on the Dovin Basals so we can disable their shielding and destroy the flagship"...

the large Manta strike force avoided getting too close to the Vong ships, keeping their combat focused on Vong fighters, while leaving the Vong warships to the main fleet...

the Manticores' main cannons began to glow an eerie red, another volley of nuclear shells being fired, though this time, the shells' heads seemed to be glowing white, numerous plasma bolts slamming into it without effect, the shell, along with hundreds like it, slamming into the turrets of the enemy flagship, obliterating the turret and everything behind it for several hundred meters, the Dovin Basals too distracted to attempt to stop the incoming barrage, the Manticores unleashing hundreds of similar shells, the enemy flagship rapidly losing it's ability to continue firing...

Streams of plasma raced out into space, trying to seek out the Devastators. However, the Vong's sheer numbers prevented the enemy ships from doing too much damage, and Trandosha would soon be there's anyway...

Grievous and his guards aced out of Vassek as the lift stopped, activating their weapons as they emerged into a chaotic battlefield, with droids, Trandoshans, and Yuuzhan Vong battling viciously. The cyborg looked around angrily for the ground commander who was almost certainly there...

The machine took another step towards the captain and held its hand out, gesturing for a hand shake, it said in a warm intelligent voice "Thank you. I am speaking on behalf of my people. I am sorry, but it is against our policy to send living negotiators to ships marked as hostile. You may refer to me as Nightshade."

With liquid agility, the Cypher's long tentacle like arms curled up infront of him, forming the familiar spiral. Tapping into news feeds from across the Marican and Koult civilisation, even in the wastelands and beyond, Cere'kan begun transmitting.

Thara frowned, watching the tv screen as the image flicked from static, before finally showing Maricas, surrounded by burning remains.... A large turtle like ship in one corner of the image, its arms forming a staggeringly long bizarre spiral... orange energy flowing down its length... An inhuman mechanical voice suddenly narrated "This is a demonstration, to all who live."

In the corner of the room, Marbh's eyes suddenly flashed, the drone seemingly online once more, before saying quietly "I should have anticipated this..."

Thara paid the old robot no attention... This was much more interesting. The various news stations had been reporting about a battle over Maricas for the last day or two, he had been following them, trying to figure out if it was worth the risk trying to cash in on the salvage...

Hundreds of Yorik-trema began to fell from the sky accordingly towards Vassek. Only more Vong Warriors were arriving to finally seize control of the Trandoshan Capital and end the battle. The giant globs of "flesh" falling towards the ground easily would have terrified those with a weak heart.

The Annihilator fired its main Super Laser Cannon towards a Worldship which was moving into position to try and protect the Grand Cruiser. The smaller craft was obliterated along with only more vong ships around the area, only adding more to the countless explosions.
"We're clear!" An Imperial Officer reported and Revan gave the order. Soon, waves of missiles and turbo lasers were fired towards the Dovin Basals but considering the ammount of enemy forces, they couldnt focus entirely all their weapons one one target...the Imperials focused solely on taking out enemy ships and providing the Vardians support.

However hundreds of flaming astroids from one incoming Vong Worldship alone proved how deadly the vong were. The astroids slammed into vardian ships with brutal force, smashing through shields and soon enough into the hulls as well..

the captain reached out and shook the negotiator's hand. "We understand completely. not doing so would be considerably risky to your own faction's interests" he said as he let go...

Blaze walked into the room, listening in on the TV interestedly...

the Destroyers that were hit rapidly activated the pulse boost Ion Engines, the specialised escape engines launching the craft forward as the ships directed themselves upwards and over the line of fire, rotating and returning fire with their own weapons, some of the lighter ordinance used specifically to intercept the incoming projectiles. as some of the remaining stray projectiles surged towards one of the Collosus class Battleships, a shockwave reversed their heading, the projectiles hurtling back towards the enemy ships' cannons, accompanied by powerful thermonuclear missiles and countless volleys of Plasma ammunition. the H.V.M.S. Executioner continued to pummel the Dovin Basals, accompanied by the Revenge, and every other heavy Battleship in the Vardian fleet, literally millions of tons of ordinance slamming into the Legacy's Dovin Basals, rapidly destroying them. the combined forces of the Vardians, TGDA and Imperials were punching a hole in the Vong front line...

Spectre's dual blades were drawn in a flash of motion, almost unable to be seen by the shear speed of the movement. The blades were not simple metal...it such an advanced age, they could be used like lightsabers, but, of course, lacked the ability to cut through anything in the known universe. They could however deflect a majority of projectiles...as well as withstand tremendous amounts of punishment before breaking...

The Devastators, using their distance and the "blind field" around them, were generally unharmed by the sparatic bursts of attacks, once again firing as soon as the opportunity arised. Two shells slammed into the Vong capital ship, not as damaging as compared to the lesser ships, but still managed to blow chunks of the ship's armor off, making them instant weak points, the shells traveling too fast for the Vong to open their black hole shielding...
