Adeline said her thanks to Francois and followed Yuke and James in the extravegent mansion. She looked around in wonder at the big structure and its elegant furnishings. She took her place by James and Yuke and stayed silent, listening to the frenchman's words. She glanced at Yuke and James, wondering if either would talk first of their adventures. When nothing came out of their mouths, Adeline decided to talk. "Well, we were sailing around and I think it was James who noticed the satanic looking ship, and the children. There were men dressed in red robes and they were going to use the children as a sacrifice." She made a face, showing her disgust for the act. "It's horrible how some people could do that." Again, her eyes met those of James and Yuke, wondering if either of them would like to continue the story, but they were really mainly looking at James for a minute before focusing her attention on Francois again.

Colours high… heave ho, thieves
And beggars, never shall we die…" sung Captain Will to himself, 18, of the Night Raptor. A Galleon carrying 32 regular cannons with 8 Swivel guns on deck. She was black, with black sails, although that would be coming to an end. He had barely managed to afford the sails, he stole the black paint. "LAND HO!" Shouted someone from the crow's nest. He took out his spyglass and sported land, and through the faint outlines a port, a port with ships.
"Let's see what they can do! Run out the guns, Hoist the Colours!" Yelled Captain Will, to his crew, they responded instantly opening the gun duck, running the guns out. Someone was hoisting the ship's Colours, A white Skull and crosswords with a red Eagle with it's wings spread open it's talons poised for the kill. "When we get within range, we'll fire!" He barked. His First mate, nodded, as Will fingered his sword for a moment. He was hoping this would work....

Francois said "I think that for this deed, i must pay you at least 3 million in gold. one for each of you". James said "Thank you, Monseur Governor, thank you". the Governor said "And, provisions for your next journey". James said "Thank you Governor, however we have already had the ships prepared. we must leave as soon as possible. we have the British navy chasing us". the Governor said "Then we shall face them". James said "Why face them when we can lure them to a place they will never be able to escape?". the Governor raised his brow in surprise, and then nodded "Very well, monsieur. may i help any of you in any other way?". Pierre then stepped forward to speak with his father. James watched as a look of dread came upon the Governor's face as his son whispered something in his ears. after a long silence, Governor Francois nodded. Pierre then left, and Francois looked back at the 3 captains, trying to smile, and said "So? Monsieur? Madamoiselle?"..

*i am almost sure madamoiselle is spelt wrong. whoever knows the right version, PM it to me...

"FIRE!" Called the Captain, and the crew responded by firing the guns at port. But each shot fell short as he intended, short of the ships, the port and the fort.

"Starboard! Get us closer to the--" "BELAY THAT, BELAY!" Yelled the Captain, "Cease fire! Hard to Port! We're running" Ordered the Captain, the shots still fell well short.. "Captain! Why did you do that?" Asked the First Mate, along with what appeared to be the whole crew, they had that look of asking the samething and mutiny if they didn't get an answer.

"You'll see. Now Back to work, they'll chase us. Hopefully, we'll loose them. And When their bulk of the fleet's gone, we come in for real." He explained. "And if they don't?" Asked one of the crew. "Well, we'll be near another port, less guarded or ships. So I'm not too worried.." He added and went to the helm...

She stood from her seat and glanced in James' and Yuke's direction. "Well, are we ready to go?" She wondered what time it was and hoped that it wasn't too late...

"They're not chasing us!" Shouted the lookout from the Crow's Nest on the Main Mast. The crew were not silent they were noisy talking about not only why they weren't but because of a ship they saw. "It looked like the Black Pearl, to me!"Said one, "IT WAS NOT!" Said another. Captain Will looked through his spyglass and saw the ship they were mentioning it. Gorramit, it does look like Sparrow's ship, He thought to himself and then he saw what appeared to be humans running, looking like they were trying to find the Governor, from what little he could see of them running towards. "Heads up, think company's not too far behind..." Said Captain Will, Now this really needs to work. Will they send the Pearl? If it is that? He knew of only one ship that'd give the Pearl a run, and that was the Flying Dutchman. Captain Sparrow and his ship nor Captain Barbossa haven't been seen in months or years. "Damn!" He said to himself and swore under his breath. "Let's get her at top speed!" He ordered to the crew, "Hold Heading!" He added, as the Night Raptor tried to add more speed away from the Port.
As he watch the men, and now the port and ships slowly shrink away in the distance...

Just as Yuke was about to open his mouth, the doors of the office wee knocked open. "What is the meaning of this interruption?!" yelled the Governor in outrage. "Sorry Governor. these are my men, i'll have then delt with immediately". James got up, and walked up to the crew members and asked them "What are you doing here? do you have any idea how dangerous it is to barge in on a Governor like that? he could have you hung for it!". the crew said "Captain! we're being attacked! a ship's firing at us! the Fort cant hit them they arent at the right angle, and they're missing the Pearl by a few feet!". James stopped and thought. he turned to the Governor, and said "Monsieur Governor, our ships are being attacked by a rogue Galleon. the Fort cant hit it due to the angle of fire, and our ships are at risk. so, if you'll excuse me, i must take my leave of you for a few hours. Adeline and Yuke could stay here if you wish for one of us to stay, but i must go and protect my ship...and take care of our attacker". the Governor's brow raised in surprise. "An attack? go, go fight them off, but dont forget, your reward is still here and i cannot load ships which are not there". James said "I understand completely Governor". Governor Fracois nodded, and James, Adeline and Yuke rushed out their door, to the port where their ships awaited. it seemed that after the first volley everyone had double timed the loading, because the ships looked as good as new. there were sailors all over the dock talking about the Noir Diamante looking alot like the Black Pearl. little did they know they were practically the exact same ship, difference being age. James ran onto the ship and ordered the crew to set sail, and in 5 minutes, the ship was at full sail, and leaving the harbour. James got out his spyglass...and spotted the ship. "Night Raptor....an odd name...and the Flag...hmmm". Following James at a much slower rate was the Dauntless, now painted a completely different colour to avoid suspicion. the Red Dawn and Barbarian also started to drift out, soon passing the slow Dauntless...they were starting to gain on the Night Raptor, the Pearl quickly gaining on it...

"It's the Pearl. " He whispered but people could hear. "Get some Sweepers out on the Stern, come on! And get ready to dump some barrels of gunpowder, and make sure they are sealed!" Ordered the Captain, "More speed!" He added, and the crew did it instantly, the 8 portable Swivel guns were brought up to the stern, it would take to long for regular cannons to be put in place. "Ready, sir!" Said one of the Gunners, "Fire!" As six gun powder barrels were brought on deck. The Swivel cannons fired, at their targets but they were not hitting them. It was a warning shot, barely missing the Port and Starboard, one cannon ball barely missed the top of the main mast by inches. "Get ready to chuck 'em overboard on my command!" He barked to the ones carrying them. "Cap'n, do we have a headin'?" Asked the Helmsman. "Set a course for Tortuga.." Commanded the Captain. "Captain! It's the Black Pearl, we cannot out run it." Said A crew member. "It's NOT the Pearl. Different, built for it. Either way s'long as we get to Tortuga, we can loose it. They were now out of sight of the fort, the only ship that seemed to be behind was the Dauntless, for he too, despite it's paint change could tell it was the same ship that was in Port Royal.

Adeline took out her spyglass and murmured, "What do they want?" The Night Raptor shot out at the Pearl, but the balls nearly missed it. It was mearly a warning shot. "Ready your cannons, and fire at my command," yelled Adeline to her crew. She noticed that the enemy ship was starting to outrun James' ship. She chuckled and shook her head. "Nope, outrunning the Black Pearl would be useless," she thought.

James smiled. Gibbs ran up to him. "Sir! they're dumpin the cargo!". James said "Shoot one of the barrels before they come near the ship". "Aye, Cap'n!". he shouted at one of the crew member to shoot a barrel that had just dropped from the ship. it blew up. "Gunpowder... avoid the barrels as much as possible, shoot them before they get near us, do what it takes!" yelled James. Gibbs nodded, and turned to the crew. "Yew 'eard him ya scaly skallywags! shoot tha barrels!". Will and Elizabeth were now in charge of the Dauntless, with Nathaniel having asked to go on his own back in Port au Prince. just as the Black Pearl closed in on the Night Raptor, it suddenly stopped. it was as if it had hit a reef. Gibbs went pale. "James....it's the Kraken....we need to abandon ship...". just then, an enormous tentacle flew out of the water and wrapped itself around James, and dragged him under. the ship then got covered with tentacles. "ABANDON SHIP!" yelled Gibbs. the Tentacles started to drag the ship under, and crew were being flung around by loose tentacles like rag dolls. soon, the only ones left were Rafael, M.r Cotton and his parrot, Gibbs, Marty the midget and a few other of Jack's old crew. the next ship to stop was the Dauntless. Will commanded the crew to prepare the guns. as the tentacles started to climb up the side, Will gave the order to fire. the blasts were enough to completely rip the Kraken's tentacles apart. but they all knew once it chose a target, it wouldn't let it go. so James gave the order to abandon ship. just as the long boats were lowered and most of the crew got off, an enormous tentacle shot through the center of the hull of the dauntless, making a hole over 10 feet thick. the tentacle slammed down onto the deck, and then dragged the entire ship under, using the other tentacles as insurance. Will's long boats and the Pearl's longboats headed for the Barbarian and Red Dawn, and the group began to wonder what had happened and why it had attacked....and why those two ships in particular...they also wondered whether the Night Raptor was the next target...

Adeline was about to order something else to the crew, but she froze when she saw giant tentacles fly out of the water and wrap around the Black Pearl. She held her breath in a gasp, and murmured, "The Kraken." She watched the whole thing with wide-eyes and hoped that James and the others got off in time. When the ship finally went down, Adeline rushed to the side of the Red Dawn and looked for any sign of James or the other crew members in long boats, perhaps. The Kraken went on to attack the Dauntless and soon that was down too. She nervously bit her lip, but then finally spotted long boats heading over toward her ship and the Barbarian. "Thanks goodness they're all right," she thought, but wondered why the Kraken would only attack those two ships.

Gibbs said "It took James...we've lost 'em". Will arrived with Elizabeth and a few of his surviving crew members, and said "The map to World's End is with me. but...we need to let Barbossa out of the brig to be able to use him to use it. i remember he wa locked away on the Red Dawn after we reached Port au Prince. Adeline, could you tell someone to bring him to us?". a voice called from inside a cabin door. "De Map alone wont get you to jack and jeames. Yu need a sharp eye and a sharper mind if yu want to get diem back". Will turned around, and Tia Dalma walked out. "How did you get here?". Tia said "Dat is none of your conscern. be tankful i am here tho"...

Adeline put her hand over her mouth when she heard the news that James went down with his ship. It was just like his father, Jack. She nodded silently at Will's order and called to Allen. "B-Bring Barbossa out here." Her voice was shaking, but she knew she had to try to stay strong. She was suprised when Tia Dalma came and was about to ask how she got here, but Will beat her to it. She looked at the silent remaining crew. "Well, there is work to be done. Come on, let's go." She ordered. She didn't wish to go to her singing lesson tonight, but she knew that Eric would be angry with her if she didn't attend. "I promised."

He had ordered the ship to reverse course, he and his crew watched silently as it was the Kraken, the pet of Davy Jones, when the Kraken attacked started he stopped firing his guns and dumping cargo.
"Reverse course! Set for the remaining ship, stow guns, reverse Signal the remaining ship that we are heading their way under Truths, Understand?" "Aye Captain," Replied the first mate before barking out the orders and having the quartermaster signal the ship. As it was turning around. That really was unexpected, even worse it had taken someone to the Locker. That meant if anyone was lost they'd surely seek the farthest gate. Good luck getting Sao Feng to share his charts with them He snorted at the thought as they were coming along side the remaining ship. As he fingered his piece of eight, He called out "Ahoy, do you need help?" He asked to the other ship they were now side by side. He had his cannons on the deck titled down, so they faced the deck a sign of good faith, hopefully.

While Allen was gone getting Barbossa, another ship approached the Red Dawn. It was the ship that was that was trying to run away from them earlier, the Night Raptor. The captain of the ship was asking if they needed any help. Did they need any help? She stared into the eyes of Will, Elizabeth, and Tia Dalma. Tia did say that the map alone wouldn't help. There was also the Governer's award waiting back at the port. "Well...um..." She trailed off in thought. How should she answer such a simple question? Probably she should consult with Captain Yuke and the others before answering the other captain. "Do you think you can hold on," she called out. "I'm going to have to consult with my fellow captains first."

"Aye, fellow Captain..." He trailed of he didn't know any of them. Then he spotted, two people he was familiar with, two in fact... "Captain Barbossa?' He asked, raised an eyebrow. "And I'll be, if it isn't Tia Dalma too.." He asked, he was now more alert then ever...

"Adeline," she said to the other captain, completing his sentence on what he should call her. "And this is my first mate Allen, Will, Elizabeth, Mr. Gibbs, Cotton..." She trailed off and watched the other Captain carefully. She saw his eyes travel over to Barbossa and Tia Dalma.

"Aye, indeed it is," replied Barbossa with a nod to Captain Will. "It's going to be seeing you again, Captain Will."

Adeline was suprised. "You know him," she asked softly. "How do you know each other? And how do you know Tia Dalma," she asked a little louder, so that Captain Will could hear her questions.

Barbossa said "So, what 'ave ya been doin since arr last little chat, Cap'n?". Will Turner looked at Adeline and said "I think we have more important things to do than chat at sea, dont you think?". Tia Dalma said "He'll be woorth 'avin on ar side for a while. he will be helpful in bringing back Jack. Doont you worry about him. Jack and Jeames aren't goin anywhere"...

She sighed. "Very well, then. Let's just continue on. Let's look at the charts to World's End." She wanted to focus on getting Jack and James back. She was really starting to miss Captain James.
