"Oh, beauty," Diana groaned. "Now what genius?" She turned so that she was back to back with the Spencer-like thing, she counted the odds of winning, in all honesty it looked 50/50.

Vincent smiled into the rearview mirror. "A few hours, still have a ways to go though, trust me if I wanted to go faster I would," he said. Nik yawned and stretched, then looked back at Korso. "So what do you make of your friend there?" he asked nodding at Desh.

The closest creature, which looked like a humanoid crocodile clad in a crude pirate costume, swung its flaming cutlass at Diana's gut, releasing an angry hiss at the same time.

Diana jumped back slightly. "Alright, that's it," she hissed and positioned her arms and hands in a way that looked like she was holding a sword. Soon a long and thick sword materialized in her hands. She turned her head to look at her handy work and smiled with satisfaction. Suddenly she slashed at the creature in front of her and sliced it in half. "Bring it on," she whispered.

a low rumbling growl came from the shadowy Demon as it swung the chain up then down, a booming crack being heard as flames formed along the length of the chain, the Demon swinging it across in front of him, the chain swinging around one of the creatures' necks and locking shut, burning into it's skin as the Demon swung upwards, lifting the creature off it's feet and hurtling it into another, both of them being destroyed as a cannonball tore through them, the Demon wasting no more time, knocking aside another, the force making it tumble sideways, slam into the ship's railing and fall overboard as the Demon went down after the Nightmare, the sky suddenly going several shades darker as Spencer forced more control over Diana's mind...

The killed creatures dissipated into blue smoke, and white-hot flashes of lightning flashed from the darkening sky, trying to zap Diana, as the Nightmare fought for control of her mind.

In the captain's quarters, nothing stirred, and there didn't seem to be anything there. The room was rather small, made up of a desk and chair with a variety of mapping tools and other things, a small bunk in the corner, and a shelf of random paraphernalia. Suddenly, the chair seemed to lift of its own accord, before flying at Spencer's face, exploding violently into large, burning pieces of wood as it hit him.

I guess you could say he's troubled. Korso stated looking at Desh for a minute and then back at Nik. Something seemed not quite alright though about Korso, he looked friendly enough thats for sure, but what would throw anyone off is what seemed like the strange glimmer of knowing in his eyes... or the fact that he was a priest traveling with a werewolf.

Diana..., Desh shivered unnoticed in his sleep.

Numerous shadowy figures sprinted across the roof tops, wearing kevlar body armour over their dark robes, night vision goggles strapped to their heads, assault rifles and submachine guns in hand. A few even had RPG-7's, they crossing into demon territory, running on either side of the street the bikers had went down. Speaking of which, one of the bikers threw a gas grenade behind him, now focusing more on the horde behind them than completing their mission, the other biker reaching back with his Inagram, spraying bullets at the Imps

Diana hissed furiously as she narrowly missed the lightning. She sliced and cut through the creatures one by one while dodging and diving away from the lightning...

Nik nodded slowly. "I guess will have to learn more about him then," he said suggestively. "Now what of you, Korso, yes?" Vincent asked.

Many of the Imps raced after the bikers, running like demonic hounds, a few leaping onto the motorcycles from the seemingly abandoned buildings. The thin yet menacing creatures clawed their way to the bikers, biting and slashing anything they could get a hold of. Meanwhile, the higher demon, having fallen very far behind, noticed almost immediately the appearance of the new vampires, its burning body turning the darkened street into makeshift daylight, swinging its molten blade at one building, cleaving through the wall of the structure in an attempt to knock the vampires down...

a plume of shadows seemed to engulf the bits of wood, a low chuckle coming from the creature as he looked around, everything in the room suddenly being obliterated, leaving nothing inside intact, dust sized particles of glass, wood, paper and metal all that was left, the particles falling to the floor harmlessly...

Well you know im a priest, but not in the strictess sense. I helped out at a church orphanage down in Brazil for a while. Korso pulled out a cigarette and brought it to his lips but didnt light it even as he pulled a box of matches out. Im mostly a preacher now, just trying to uphold peace, and spread gods word if thats what you want to call it. Korso knew there was a thin line of truth and deception in his story but he wasnt about to tell anyone, and his mind was securely shielded if by some chance these vampires had the power to raid in mind.

The sure footed vampires sped on, the building managing to stay standing. On both sides of the street, they begun taking pot shots at the demon, the bullets having little effect on the massive creature. one vampire ran up to the side of the roof he was on and anchored his foot on the gutter, shouldering a missile launcher. With a loud blast, the missile roared to life and zipping into the demon's back...

One of the bikers skidded, losing control before turning over, him and the imps being mangled underneath it as it tumbled away, the other biker turned into an alley way and leapt off the bike, kicking off the near wall and rebounding onto a fire escape..

The heat from the explosion did little to the demonic behemoth, while the explosion itself send parts of its rock-like body soaring around the area, though the beast did not show any sign of weakening, even with such a wound. The massive demon turned around, maw opening as a gust of flames engulfed the launcher-carrying vampire...

Some of the Imps stopped at the mangled bodies, feasting on the biker and their dead brethren alike. Others, not able to get into the feeding frenzy, clawed their way up the wall, their small yet incredibly sharp claws allowing them to climb with ease...

The particles began taking on lives of their own, swirling around Spencer. More bits of dust streamed out of cracks in the woodwork, swirling with increasing intensity, gathering in immense quantities, before forcibly shoving Spencer up the stairs and out of the room, landing on the deck of the ship next to Diana. Only there wasn't a ship anymore. It was the center of a massive mirror-maze. "Come and get me," The Nightmare hissed. "And don't try to break through the mirrors. It won't do you any good. You're in my world now." The form of the Nightmare flashed past several mirrors, disappearing just as quickly, with the sound of claws against rock making the only sound of its passing...

the Demon snarled lowly, as the mirrors began to distort, the Demon forcefully attempting to take charge again...

A single shard of glass sprang from one of the mirrors, impaling the Demon in the cheek and exploding, scattering sharp shards of glass everywhere. The hole in the mirror immediately healed itself, and the Nightmare hissed, "Next time, I will use more than just one shard, if you do not stop your meddling..."

"D**n you!" Diana shouted and turned to the Spencer-demon. "This just great, I can't believe my luck, I've got two demons trying to take over my head and frankly I can already the headache I'm going get if this thing ever gets over!" She went over to a mirror leaned against it then slid down to sit on the floor.

Nik and Vincent nodded. "Interesting, lifestyle then," Nik said. "But you aren't human?" Vincent finished.

Clawed, pale-skinned arms extended from the mirror Diana sat against, reaching for her throat, ready to strangle her...

Diana felt the movement behind her and heard it plain as day, but she forced herself to remain calm and act oblivious. At the last second she turned and bit down on the wrists of both arms and tugged viciously, until they finally snapped off.

The arms struggled for a moment, before disintegrating into nothingness. Another pair sprang out of the glass, thrashing more wildly this time, trying to claw at Diana.
