Drake went upstairs for a few moments, getting his weapons, which thankfully were all custom made to be compact enough to fit under his coat simultaniously. he headed down, heading for the car, half expecting this whole trip to be a conveniently timed ambush...

Velkor and Wisp eagerly hopped into he car, and Wisp squeaked, "This is so exciting!" "It's just a fre... carnival, Wisp, calm down." "But I wanna see the Devil thingy!" "Don't worry, we'll get to see the... Devil thingy."

Diana sighed as she got in the car. "I've a bad feeling about this," Thanatos said biting his lip. Nyx had loaded her's and Diana's handguns, for just in case precautions. "Here, you never know," she said handing the gun to Diana. Diana nodded, she had a weird feeling too, but not that they would find trouble, more like something's coming, but she didn't know what. "Let's get this over with," Diana repeated to Drake.

Vincent smiled at Desh reassuringly through the rearview mirror. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll greet you with an open heart," he said. "How's it going up there Nik?!" he asked out the window. "All clear!" Nik called back.

Desh smiled, Thanks. He then let out a both exasperated and relieved sigh. He looked to Korso only to find him sleeping. Figures, he's been keeping watch night after night. Desh stated laying his head against his window.


Murtagh shook his head in dissapointment at the report. Sylvia, Sylvia, Sylvia, we need him back. The hooded figure on the screen nodded. I understand Lord Murtagh but he is getting aid. On top of that we are competing to capture him. Murtagh stood from his comfortable chair. Perhaps your brother will succeed where yoiu have failed. The figure gritted her teeth. He will not, i assure you..., the transmission ended. My dear Desh, why do you run? Murtagh spoke to himself in the silence of the now pitch black room.

"He's not the only one!" Nik called irritatedly. Suddenly his head popped by the driver's window. "Let me take the wheel and you keep a look out," he said. Vincent sighed then put it on "cruise". "Alright, alright hurry up," Vincent said. Nik disappeared then reappeared in the passengers seat and took hold of the wheel as Vincent climbed onto the roof. "Finally, I thought my hair would never flatten out," Nik sighed.

"Why so serious?" hissed Velkor, not trying to hide the obvious joke. "Are you all seriously expecting an ambush? This is exactly why we're going: so you guys don't jump at every shadow."

[Shade]

"Yes, yes and the sooner I'm convinced of that the worse," Diana said. "Well, you do kinda act like the sky's gonna fall," Thanatos said and wrapped an arm over her shoulders. She flinched at the gesture, she couldn't do this, not when... She shifted farther away and looked out the opposite window. Thanatos raised an eyebrow, but shrugged it off.

"I rest my case," growled Velkor, noticing Diana flinch. He leaned back in his chair, waiting for Drake to get to the car...

Drake started up the engine as soon as he was in, getting it in gear and heading out for the main road. "I suppose you'll give us directions?" he said as he shot a glance at Velkor...

"There's only one road," hissed Velkor, looking out the window. "How hard could it be?" Despite what he said, he pointed in the direction he had seen the sign. "It's that way. You'll know it when you see it, I'm sure."

[Shade]

Diana sighed. "Sure, there's bound to be plenty of lights," Nyx pointed out. "You would know about this stuff Nyx," Thanatos said, not taking his eyes off Diana. She bit her lip, it was getting closer...

Cap stood at the entrance of his carnival, where people came in in small groups, often sporadically. Nevertheless, it was a bigger turnout than he had hoped, and was even more excited to see the headlights of an oncoming vehicle. "Let's hope they're coming here," he muttered to himself. Quinn stood nearby, giving tickets and taking money. After the last escapade with their new attraction, he had an eye patch, and looked even more solemn than usual...

Desh stared out the window smiling to himself despite the recent events. Frankly he couldnt help it, he felt the sensation of knowing. But fear of the possiblities cause his smile to die down again. No matter he would accept what happens no matter what. If he cared at all for Diana he would accept her choice, he just hoped she still had him in her heart.

[Shade]

Diana saw lights on the horizon and felt butterflies in her stomach. Thanatos saw her holding her stomach. He smiled and held her hand. Diana bit her lip and tried to subtly pull it away. "Come on, Di," Thanatos whispered. "I thought we were together now." "It's complicated, Thanatos I need time to think, ok," Diana said.

Vincent could see lights on the horizon and he could sense that their friends were heading toward them. He signaled Nik to head toward them...

Desh leaned forward in his seat after seeing the lights in his peripheral vision. Is that..., he couldnt finish his statement he simply stared warily and expectantly. He glanced at Nik to see if he made anything of it. He then shook Korso who began to stir until he finally woke up rubbing his eyes. We there yet?, he asked groggily.

Drake slowed down as he reached the turn off to the carnival, taking note of the incoming car, his aura vision showing two Vampires, one of which was on the roof and in an animal form, a Werewolf, and a human, though the latter two were somewhat difficult to destinguish because of the distance. "Looks like we're not the only Supernaturals coming here" said Drake...

"What, that's a surprise to you?" Velkor pointed to a small, dusty expanse next to the road. A couple cars were already parked there. "Looks like the parking lot..." The entrance to the carnival was essentially a large entryway with a sign above it, which read in bold red letters: "Supernatural Carnival: The Real Freaks!"

Diana suddenly felt an urge to run. Where and why, she had no idea. Thanatos wrapped an arm around her waist. "Calm down," Thanatos whispered. "It sounds like they're making fun of our kind," Diana hissed. "As all freak-shows will," Nyx said.

Vincent smiled as they closed in on the carnival. Brace yourselves, I believe they're arriving as well, Vincent projected the thought into everyone's mind. Nik nodded and looked at himself through the rearview mirror.

The purple wisp of smoke followed the Crow as they flew high above the Carnival, confused as to what was going on. Both wanted to get a better look..

Gunther stared at the ground as he rode in the car, not saying anything. Carter leaned in, whispering into his ear. "Just tell him now, kid... Get it over with."

Gunther swallowed his own spit, then slowly looked up. His horns poked into the top of the car. "Si-..... Sir Drake...?"

Desh's heart began to race, and his breathing became rapid and shallow. He knew what was coming and he was more than overjoyed. He was practically ready to make a flying leap out of the car still in motion. Korso noticed Desh and was somewhat puzzled by the situation. Whats he getting so worked up about, he wondered to himself.
