Desh smiled, I cant wait to here it all, he said with a nod. He got up lifting Diana to her feet as Korso started walking over. Diana let me introduce you to Korso... he's a... honestly im not sure..., Korso then interupted. Priest, preacher, all the same, he gave a playful bow.

Diana giggled a noise she hadn't heard in a while. "A pleasure I'm sure," she said. "Come on you've got to meet my friends!" she said and tugged on Desh's arm.

Alright lets go then, Desh said still smiling, he couldnt get over his happiness but he followed Diana without hesitation. He ran with her into the carnival grounds as Korso gave the werewolf at the front gate ten dollars to get in. Sorry about the trouble pal. Korso stated with a salute before following into the carnival.

The werewolf stuffed the money into a wallet, snorting...

Velkor and Wisp walked into the tent, where a small crowd had already gathered, seated in folding chairs or just standing up. In the middle of tent was a large cage, covered with a cloth. The cage shook, and growling emanated from within, forcing Quinn to keep a tight grip on the chain that lead out of the cage, underneath the cloth. Cap stood on the other side of the cage, watching with satisfaction as the crowd grew slowly. "This is our biggest show yet," he muttered. "I knew this thing would get more customers..."

Diana halted in front of Nyx who smiled wickedly. "So this is your 'friend'," she said. Then Nyx started to circle Desh as if examining to see if he would make the cut for her blood-sister. "Very nice," she purred. "Good muscle structure, prominent facial features, I approve, I whole-heartedly approve." Diana rolled her eyes. "Desh this is Nyx, my best friend from my slave days and like a sister," she said. "Nyx this is Desh, my... erm 'friend' as you so called him." "Charmed," she said and held out her hand.

Desh grinned and shook her hand, Nice to meet you Nyx, always a pleasure to meet a friend of Diana. Desh then leaned toward Diana and whispered teasingly, She approves?. In his own mind he laughed at the thought but he respected Diana's friends... that is as soon as he got to meet them all. Desh looked around taking in the attractions of the carnival as they rapidly processed through his mind none of them seemed all that interesting at first though. He then quickly returned his attention to Diana and Nyx smiling casually now.

Diana shook her head at Desh's comment. She turned to Thanatos who had a slightly sour expression on his face, but quickly turned more cordial. "Desh this is Thanatos," she said. "Hello," Thanatos said. "I'm one of her more recent friends, but we've known each other for years." "He wasn't exactly my friend when we first met," Diana whispered to Desh.

Desh's smiled weakened a little as he nodded to Diana, he knew immediately Thanatos wasnt fond of him. Nice to meet you, he said as sincerely as he could. Desh reached out a hand in hopes to at least make their encounter less anxious.

Thanatos looked at the hand then gave it a crushing grip, before letting it go. Diana bit her lip as she looked at Thanatos and gave a warning glare.

Desh was unfazed by his vice-grip, but otherwise he was right, Thanatos didnt like him at all. Just getting back and he already had a potential enemy amongst friends. I guess we should meet your other friends too? he asked Diana.

"Wisp, please get the love-bugs," hissed Velkor, annoyed they hadn't gotten to the tent yet. Wisp saluted, then disappeared through the ground, soon popping up behind Desh. "Hiya! Who're you?" she asked curiously, resting her head on his shoulder and grinning.

Diana gave a final glare at Thanatos and turned to the others. "Sure, this is Drake, Nyx's man and Spencer, Drake's friend I suppose," she said.

Once Desh had turned his back Thanatos resumed glaring. Everything had been going fine, she was his, what right did he have leaving her than coming back just to break her heart again.

Uh..i'm Desh, he replied to Wisp. After the encounter with Thanatos his mood for the greetings wasnt as great and he simply nodded to Drake and Spencer awknowledging them. I guess we shouldnt keep your friend in the tent waiting, he seems pretty upset.

Diana glared at Wisp. "Yeah well, that's Velkor," she said nodding to the tent. "And this is Wisp, we're not very close thank god."

"What a touching reunion," Vincent said walking up to the group, Nik following behind. "Hello everyone."

"Quiet you!" growled Wisp, eyes glowing an irritated red for a moment. The Demon pushed Desh along, pleading, "Come ooooooon already! Let's get a move on! I want Velkor to meet you guys!"

Desh didnt get a chance to respond as Wisp pushed him along. He could have planted his feet down and stopped right there but he didnt want anyone else to feel negatively towards him and so he let it slide.

Korso on the other hand kept his distance, puffing on a cigarette while he eyed Thanatos behind sunglasses despite it being night, the carnival lights were enough to allow him to see through the lenses. He had a mission and Thanatos seemed the most likely to cause problems. He now felt the need to keep an eye on that vampire, for Desh's sake...despite that the werewolf would highly-likely be able to handle himself.

Wisp pushed Desh until they got to the tent, saying, "Velkor! Looky what I found!" Velkor walked outside, staring at Desh in confusion for a moment. "I think you caught the wrong person again, Wisp..."

So I'm a 'what' not a 'who', Desh asked Wisp rhetorically. Nice to know im not a person. he continued. Good to meet you, Velkor. Desh shrugged. Is she always like this?, he asked gesturing with his thumb at Wisp.

Velkor shrugged as well. "You get used to it. Now then, might I ask who Wisp has brought here instead of Diana or any of her friends?"
