Godzilla E-War

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

A coded message arrived at A-mec's inbox "Objectives changed. Equipment drop and target marked on map." He knew who it was from, even though the message was untraceable. He checked his map, a red blip marking a small town on the pacific coast, he had past it by a few hundred kilometres on the way up. Interested, he checked the details of his new objectives. Things had just gotten much easier...

A-mec continued towards Bane, nearly the massive monster, finally releasing a warbling robotic call "Hello Bane..."

Barugaron saw the Overlord tanks in the distance, but his stride hardly faltered. He had dealt with the human military time and time again, and a couple of oversized tanks weren't going to stop him...

"It's been a while, A-mec....you seem healthy as ever...if a term like that can be applied to a non organic being like yourself. but that's not our reason for being here. If i remember correctly, you offered me a place in service of your...superiors. Is that place still vacant?" rumbled the Saurian monster, energy eminating from the grooves in his dorsal plates as he let off excess energy to avoid a violent release of it at the wrong time...

As the creature neared, the tanks finally opened fire, monstrous booms shattering the relative silence as shells slammed into the monster's chest, the piercing shells digging into the creature's flesh before exploding, increasing damage. The Overlord tanks bombarded the monster from a distance, attempting to hold it off until reinforcements arrived...

A-mec replied, stopping "As always... Thats why I'm here in fact. But we should continue, the GDF are searching for you and its not wise to remain in the one place for too long" The mechanical raptor turned in the direction of the town and started walking, gesturing for Bane to follow.

Barugaron roared in anger, forced to halt his forward motion for the moment. He sprayed a stream of acid into the air, which arced through the sky, crashing down on the tanks' position...

The thick plated armor of the tanks began to burn from the acid, but was unable to cause any serious damage to the tanks themselves. The Overlord tanks rolled forward suddenly, the sudden motion flinging most of the acid from their armor, opening fire once again, shells tearing into the monster's neck and chest...

Barugaron stepped to the side, several shells flying past. The monster ran forward, taking short, sporadic leaps as he did, most of the tanks' shells unable to hit him despite his bulk. As he grew closer, he skidded to a halt, spinning around, his powerful tail slamming into one of the Overlords.

The tank slid a few yards, its enourmous weight enabling it to stay on its treads, both taking advantage of the monster's close range. Opening fire once more, the shells slammed into the creature's stomach, piercing even further, given the close range, before detonating, maximizing damage. The tanks kept firing as they began to drive back toward the city...

Barugaron sprayed acid over the tanks as they fled, the monster taking a more circular route towards Le Mont-Saint-Michel, in order to avoid any more irritating cannon fire.

Bane followed the mech, growling lowly as he did so. "And what exactly am i being asked to do?"...

OOC: To make everything clear, the tanks are much larger then modern ones, I just f*cked up the dimensions, because I couldn't find a reliable source of information on tank lengths. Hopefully now a certain someone won't crucify me for not knowing the length of military machinery. Sorry for the confusion.

The tanks continued to fire at the monster, trying to keep its attention on them, to preserve the city they were intended to protect. The Super X5 and its squadron of jets continued to near the city, their GDF superiors keeping them informed on the city's status, while the main assault force headed slowly over land toward Le Mont-Saint-Michel..

A-mec replied "Fight. In return you will be protected by us and our allies. They will watch out for you, if you watch out for them."

Far across the globe, Osiris thundered back along the forzen waste land towards the coast...

2 miles below the surface...

In the pitch black darkness, a large figure moved fast through the water like a torpedo, scanning the ocean floor. Satallite imaging was useless down here, not even the most powerful satallites could scan the ocean floor. Because of this, Tundra used natrual vission, the entire area seen in a dull green hue, using the faint light that hit his skin, absorbing the photons. The light, however was the bioluminesant light given off by the creatures that lived in complete darkness. Finally, a sharp, unatrual shape petruded from the sediment. Tundra then stopped swimming, floating over to the shape. He detected a faint magnetic field from it. A downed Vortaak craft, or a sunken human vessel, Tundra didnt care. All he wanted was a source of metal. The monster slammed his hands onto the metal and pulled, the mud breaking up and displacing in a light gray cloud that shot into the water as the vessel rose. It didnt bend, or snap as an old sea faring craft would have after time and pressure from the water. It was indeed a downed vortaak craft, and Tundra hastilly slammed his mouth onto the incredibly cold surface, his mouth and throat widening and tenticals latched on as he began to absorb the metal..

Ducking and strafing, the agile Barugaron dodged many of the tank shells, a feat few other monsters could match (though they were usually much more durable). The beast made his way to the lonely city, intent on wrecking his target, even if he was getting fired on...

Twin hyper masers slammed into the back of the monster, firing in small bursts, each burst detonating on contact. Super X5 soared overhead, circling back around to make another pass, keeping its Fire-Mirror pointed at the monster. The other jets arrived soon after, unleashing their own rapid fire maser attacks, which exploded on contact as well, though doing noticeably less damage then Super X5...

Barugaron looked up at the jets and the Super X5, letting out an angry hiss. The monster leaped into the air, swiping a corrosive claw at the aircraft. The nearest jet exploded violently as it was swatted out of the sky. Barugaron hit the ground, zipping towards Le Mont-Saint-Michel even more quickly now, inking as best he could to dodge the stinging maser blasts.

As the jets continued to swarm the monster as best as they could, the Super X5 soared toward it from behind, its absolute zero masers firing, unleashing two constant beams of freezing energy from either wing, not nearly as powerful as the absolute zero cannon, but still succeeded in lowering the monster's body heat to a dangerously low level, slowing its movements...

Barugaron slowed to a stop, turned around, and spewed acid straight at the Super X5. The wide spray caught several nearby jets as well, which were easily knocked out of the sky.

Mechagodzilla, hidden in the clouds above the small battlefield, watched the fighters below carefully, scanning them periodically:

Target: Human aerial platforms. Threat: Negligible.

Target: Human land vehicles. Threat: Negligible.

Target: Large Human air platform. Threat: Negligible to concerning.

Target: Monster. Unknown classification, possibly mutant. Threat: Concerning to threatening. Highest priority.

The jets began to spread out, while the Super X5 swerved to the side, circling back around before launching a number of the missiles on its fin, said missiles arching around the craft from either side, hitting the monster from two different directions. The Overlord tanks continued their assault, their piercing shells aimed at the creature's legs in an attempt to cripple it...
