Barugaron turned around, spraying acid at the tanks, then sprinted as fast as he could toward Le Mont-Saint-Michel, dodging missiles, maser blasts, and tank shells as he did so.

The Super X5, taking advantage of the monster's lack of attacks, shot through the air, the smaller craft easily keeping up with the beast. Once again the AZ masers fired, tracking the monster's sparatic movements from only a few yards away, not giving it enough room to dodge the attacks. Soon the monster's movements began to slow once more, the jets that swarmed around the area coming in from all sides at the creature, sending missiles and maser shots into its chest, sides, and back. The Super X5 did not stop its attack, using the constant stream of sub-zero energy to aid its allies' attacks...

"And is there any particular requirement aside from that?" growled Bane lowly, the sand around his feet suddenly turning to glass as he began venting his energy to avoid a sudden violent release of it...

A shower of missiles, each one big enough to completely obliterate one of the jets without even exploding, rained down on Barugaron and his attackers. The explosion knocked the Super X5 and the remaining jets flying off-course and floored the weakened monster. Mechagodzilla flew from the clouds above, landing with a thud and screeching. He turned to face Le Mont-Saint-Michel, raising his arms, preparing to fire more missiles...

A-mec replied, chuckling slightly "None... What do you take us for, Bane? Pwnt, my organisation, doesn't want to hurt you."

"Only trying to see all the angles, my friend. i'm one who preffers to know all the results of their actions beforehand. what kind of work i'll be doing, how it benefits you, how else it would help, how i could help more, how to maximise both our benefits. though admittedly, after the seeming betrayal i suffered at the claws of the monsters when the GDF attacked, it's only normal for one to be...cautious" he growled. he wondered what kind of job, if any, he was to be given first, and when...

The Jets, having spread out over the area, quickly regained control once more, the Super X5 leveling out from the attack as well, turning toward their newest threat. The Overlord tanks, being quite a distance from the battle itself, took aim at the new threat, firing their piercing shells at the mecha's jets in another attempt to cripple it, even if it was no currently using the jets. The Super X5 unleashed twin blasts of hyper masers at the enemy mecha, the jets swooping in from various directions to attack as well...

The jets, which were safely sheltered inside Mechagodzilla's armored body, were unharmed, but the attack served to gain the mech's attention. It turned on the tanks, currently ignoring the maser blasts, firing a volley of massive finger missiles at the Overlords. More missiles erupted from its back, aimed at the Super X5 and jets...

The jets took evasive action to avoid the incoming attacks, while the bulky tanks drove back as fast as they could in an attempt to avoid the attacks aimed at them, still firing a few occasional shells at the mecha. The Super X5 barrel-rolled to avoid a few missiles, firing the AZ masers at where the missiles were launching off its back, attempting to disable the back missiles, at least temporarily...

After the last of the missiles were fired, Mechagodzilla swiftly raised his shield to protect the missile compartments, which were slightly damaged in the process. One of the finger missiles slammed into the ground next to an Overlord, stabbing into the ground, before promptly exploding as the retreating tank backed too close. The rest of the missiles, which had been hastily aimed, showered around the two tanks, not exploding, but becoming impaled in the ground around the vehicles, ready to explode as soon as the Overlords got too close. Spinning around, Mechagodzilla swung his massive arm at the Super X5, trying to use the electrifying power of the shield and sheer force from the blow to knock it out of the sky.

The Super X5 suddenly stopped, hovering like a helicopter, despite seemingly looking like a jet, drifting back as the sub-zero masers shut off, replaced by the hyper masers, which exploded against the shield, trying to bring it down. The jets were ordered to stay at a distance, unable to attack the mecha effectively while the shield was raised.

The tank was thrown in one direction by the explosion, which, though delayed, set off its ammunition supply, causing an even larger explosion, which, in turn, set off more of the surrounding missiles. The second tank, some distance from its counterpart, took advantage of the opening in the landmine like placement of the missiles, driving out of the minefield...

Mechagodzilla stepped forward, swinging at the Super X5 once more, trying to keep it at bay, steadily making his way towards the city at the same time keeping his foe at a distance.

The Super X5 drifted back away from the swing, firing four missiles rapidly into the shield, aided by a piercing shell that slammed into the mech's shield, the Overlord tank now aiding its allies once more. The jets continued to circle the area, only a select few performing bombing runs, dropping their plasma payloads over the mech....

The shield began to waver, and Mechagodzilla didn't bother wasting anymore energy on it. He knew most of the human vehicles' weapons now anyway. The shield dropped, and Mechagodzilla fired his laser beam eyes a the Super X5, a blast with a force equivalent to that of Godzilla's Atomic Breath...

The Super X5's Fire Mirror absorbed the energy from the attack, protecting the craft from any serious harm. The Fire Mirror began to glow brightly, firing a reverse beam of the same time at the mech, said beam slamming into its head. The craft drifted back once more, readying its hyper masers...

Mechagodzilla stumbled back, but swiftly retaliated, using his green mouth beam on the Super X5 this time. He doubted the Fire Mirror could block something that matched the power of Godzilla infamous Hyper Spiral Ray...

The craft zipped to one side, dodging the beam altogether, firing its own hyper masers at the side of the mecha's head, the bursts of energy exploding on contact...

A-mec hissed, taking on an almost thoughtful tone "Well.. Mostly you would just be asked to help protect others if they are attacked... like a defence agreement. But we may also ask you to attack threats. For instance if a dangerous monster is coming close to our territory or if a GDF mech begins threatening us."

He could see the town in the distance now, zooming into it with his binocular vision, glancing around for the pickup... Thankfully, the town was deserted.

Screeching, Mechagodzilla swung one of his arms, this time glowing yellow. The energy blade grazed the side of the Super X5, enough to knock it away, but hardly damage it. The mech prepared to fire his mouth beam again, but Barugaron, who had finally recovered, smacked his tail across the back of the mech's head, causing him to stumble forward...

A piercing shell sank into the mech's knee, exploding a few feet into the armor, maximizing damage. The Jets dove in periodically from different angles, keeping far apart from each other in the process, dropping their payloads over the mech's head. The Super X5 stabilized itself, missiles launching from its fin, which were aimed at the mech's head...
