Adeline shook her head in disagreement. "No, we need Captain Barbossa for the journey." But then she realised she wasn't captain anymore and kept silent while Eric tried to deal with the situation, who decided to pull a gun out and aim it at Captain Will.

"You will not be having Barbossa while I'm around. As my fiance said, we need him for the trip. He is the one of the keys to getting back Jack and James from the Locker. He can help us get the map." He was not afraid to fire if Captain Will refused.

"Now you two stop it! There will be no more arguing from this point on," she tried to command, glaring at Eric for his behavior and glaring at Captain Will. "I suggest you both put your guns down, as well as Barbossa before someone gets hurt."

"May I remind you, Adeline that you are not the commander of this ship anymore," said Eric while he still kept his gun pointed at Captain Will's head.

"I may not be that, but I am worried about your safety! Put it down!" She waited until he finally lowered his hand and grumbled. She was not planning on being very friendly with Eric. "Why can't somebody else marry him? Oh father, why did you have to go into debt..." She sighed and waited for Captain Will to do the same with his gun.

Will didn't, instead he changed his gun from Barbossa's head to this fiance guy jerk thing.. "DO NOT TREAT HER LIKE THAT!" Yelled Will he was more livid then he was with Barbossa, which startled the crew. Apparently there was worse things then releasing a Goddess of the Seas who did violently as she pleased. He had wanted to say 'Fire' but couldn't. "Barbossa is NOT important to getting to the land of the dead, he's only there to keep you from giving up this journey. For someone who can take command of a ship so suddenly, you're not to bright are you? But today I let you live. " He said in a forced calmed voice. He jerked his head to Barbossa not wanting too look at that awful man. "Barbossa, maybe ye be right about Calypso, maybe for some people do deserve her wrath. But you still need to persuade me. My anger with you will completely vanish my fellow Lord, if you promise me to keep him"-he pointed to Adeline's jerk of a fiance-"in check. You are a Pirate Lord, you out rank him." He said, in a more calm relaxed voice to Barbossa as if they were talking over drinks about some story or another. "Captain Barbossa, shall I escort you to Singapore? And then wait for you after you bring Jack, James and their ships back? Because their supplies will be limited, if not none. I can re-supply the ships before we'd all set off for shipwreck cove?" He finished adding, his voice was tiring.

Eric tried to keep his short temper in check. He glared at Captain Will, but didn't say anything to argue back. He backed off from the other captains and touched Adeline's shoulder to follow him, but she did follow. Instead, she stayed in place. She glared at him. "You're the captain now, you are suppose to stay, not retreat." She smirked while he grumbled some more and listened to his fiance. She's grown stronger since the last time they met. When did they first meet again? He remembered that moment very well. Her father introduced her to him. At first, they were just student and teacher, but then it grew into something more. He thought everything went well, even when he first proposed to her. She gladly accepted, but when he finally unleashed his rage and anger on her, she decided to go away from home and become a pirate. Well, now he had her again, and this time, he would make sure that she could not run away from him. "Thank you for going into debt, Mr. Stellers. Now I can have your beautiful daughter again," he thought.

"Aye, I'll make sure to keep the man in check," replied Barbossa, eyeing both Eric and Adeline carefully before turning his attention to Captain Will again. "And I will be agreein' about being escorted to Singapore. We will all be sailin' to Shipwreck Cove together."

Adeline was interested in the conversation between Barbossa and Captain Will. She decided to keep silent and listen.

"I'll hold you to it," said Will, relaxing fully finally as he grinned, for the first time, to Barbossa. "Aye, which way? The Eastern or Western route? Goddess knows neither is safe" He shot a quick look at Dalma before returning his gaze to Barbossa and Adeline. Finally for now things weren't as bad. That Idiot of a fiance seemed to of retreated. In the end, I will not shed my sorrow if he dies. He thought.

Adeline decided to share some imput. "We should take whatever route is faster to Singapore." She could see a glare coming from Eric, but she ignored it. "As soon as we get the bloody map, we should make our way to World's End as quickly as possible. God knows what Jack and James are doing in the Locker." She hoped that they were both ok, but more than anything, she hoped that James was ok. "Adeline, you really have to stop. You have a fiance now...but I don't love him. You have to marry him because of your father's debt," her mind went. She went to the edge of the ship, tired of talking to Captain Will and Barbossa and groaned when Eric started to follow her. She was starting to get very irritated by him. "I don't need a caretaker around me all the time," she muttered as she glared at the wood, trying to keep her own temper cool. She shrugged off his hands on her shoulders and went to find peace in what used to be her quarters. She locked the door behind her and sighed in relief when she felt that she was finally safe and alone.

Eric ignored the annoying whispers of what used to be Adeline's crew and made his way back to the Captains. "We should take the Western Route," he replied with bitterness in his voice.

"Agreed, ye need to turn your ship around, we'll give ye some room." He said to, Barbossa. Ignoring jerk-whats-his-face. "Starboard twenty Degrees, give them some room, make ready to clear the Island's South-Western Peninsula!" He Ordered the crew, again they responded instantly. They knew what two large ships so close together would, even just drifting aimlessly. The Night Raptor slowly moved more west then Southwest to give them some room. He wanted to sail slowly enough so the Night Raptor and the Red Dawn were within signaling distance.

Adeline was huddled up in her bed, looking out the window at Yuke's ship, the Barbarian. It was also following the Red Dawn and the Night Raptor. Yuke was back to his ship and giving orders to the crewmembers. A faint smile appeared as she thought about the other rum loving captain. "At least he has a ship," she thought bitterly. "Now I'm just the fiance of the captain." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath as she tried to calm herself once again. She knew that she had to go out sometime. She couldn't stay locked in this room forever. Once she was sure she was calm, she got off the bed and went over to her desk, where the two roses still stayed in their spots. They were the roses that Eric gave her before she saw him. "I might as well try to please him. There is no doubt that he is probably angry with me." She took one of the roses and put it in her hair, then finally decided to walk out, feeling refreshed and a little better.

She was welcomed to the rushing of the crew and shouts from Barbossa with Eric, standing next to him with his hands rolled into fists. He looked a little frustrated that Barbossa was taking control instead of him. She couldn't spot Will or Elizabeth anywhere and figured they were somewhere below the decks, talking or whatever. She made her way to her fiance's side. "No need to get angry," she whispered. "Barbossa knows exactly what he's doing. Remember, he has to keep you in line."

Eric was about to turn and argue with Adeline again, but noticed that one of his roses was placed in her hair. He opened and closed his mouth, trying to form words. Finally, he found the right words, but they were not words of angerment. They were rather words of appeasement. "Is this what you were up to in there? You're looking beautiful."

"Stop complimentin' the lass and pay attention," ordered Barbossa to Eric. "If you're to be captain of this ship, you need to be payin' attention to what I am doing."

"Thank you, Barbossa," thanked Adeline, and made her way to the edge of the ship while Eric stayed with Barbossa. She noticed that Eric still kept that black mask on his face. She wondered why he did so. He had nothing to hide.

He kept his eyes on her as she made her way to the edge of the ship. He watched as her hair blew in the breeze. He heard another frustrated yell escape from Barbossa about paying attention. He didn't feel like paying attention. He wanted to spend time with Adeline, but every time he tried, she would either run away from him, or be yelled at by Barbossa. Wasn't he the captain of this ship? "I am paying attention," he hissed.

the ex-Captain Will looked at Eric, then at Adeline. what a disgusting attitude he had. he went over to Adeline, and said "We need to return to Port au Prince before we leave for Singapore. that money'll come in handy". noticing her sadness, he said reassuringly "and don't worry. remember we're going to World's End. his behaviour tells me he's not exactly a tried and worn sailor. chances are, he'll die before we get back. and if not....James'll take care of him". Will grinned. he sensed something between James and Adeline for a while, and knowing James and his tendancy to have that crazy personality so reminiscent of Jack's, there wasn't much chance that Eric would last very long. one way or another, he'd be gone by the end of this whole disaster. James went up to the crow's nest, and signalled the Barbarian. Barbossa looked at him and said "What're ya doin, boy?!". Will said "We need to return to Port au Prince first. i have a feeling we'll have quite a good bit of help waiting for us there". James looked through his spyglass, the only remaining Captain's tool in his hands, and looked towards the Port. he could see Pierre comanding crew to move stuff onto a large ship. it was a good sized frigate, and judging by the rush, he was in a hurry. also, on the docks, they could see chests. several of them. no doubt loaded with gold. they were still waiting. Will personally decided that all the gold should go onto the Barbarian, seeing as James was taken by the Kraken, and he owned a third, and Adeline was the one in command when they had saved the kids, and therefore, the rightful owner of the second third, and Yuke, who was the only true surviving captain.

Adeline smiled faintly at Will. "Thanks Will, but I don't think it will matter if James comes back. The thing is that I have to marry Eric. My father went into some debt and he knew that I loved him in the past and that Eric still loved me, so he offered Eric my hand in marriage. I just have to do this for my father. I don't think he'll change his mind about it." She was thankful that she still had Will, Elizabeth, Allen, and some of old Jack's crew to talk to. Now all her old crew ever did was whisper about her sneaking around at night to see a masked man. Her nose wrinkled in disgust at the rumors going around. The bloody black mask was bothering her. Why couldn't Eric take it off? Adeline decided to take this matter with the mask in her own hands. She walked right up to Eric with her hands on her hips and her chocolate eyes glaring into the green eyes of her intended. "Why do you need that mask on? Take it off, you look..." She tried to find the right word for it.

Eric just stared at her blankly. Like he was going to listen to her request to take off the mask. He rather liked it. He was amused when Adeline tried to find the right word. "Mysterious, handsome," he suggested and grinned smartly, enjoying this little game he was playing with her. "I will not take it off, not until the end of this whole thing."

She was just getting annoyed. "But why?" She tapped her foot, waiting for an answer from him. For a thirty two year old, he was acting somewhat childish.

He whispered in her ear. "Not until after the wedding, that's all you need to know."

She rolled her eyes and actually chuckled. "Whatever Eric, I'll play along with your game." After that, she walked of, twirling a strand of her hair around her finger. "Oh by the way, learn to pay attention to Barbossa. I feel that he's going to yell at you again if you don't," she suggested with humor visible in her voice.

Will chuckled as Adeline walked away from Eric, just as Barbossa started to yell at the masked man again. Will said "father in debt? remember...you have that reward from the French Governor...you could give it to your father, to pay his debts. then, you would no longer be forced. and even if it didn't work. what do you think the chances of a rookie sailor like him returning from the Locker are? i believe a Mutiny at World's End is in order. that's IF you want it. your crew dont want him. they want you as captain. he's being yelled at like a child by another captain. crew members dont want a captain as easy to influence as that. they want one whose strong willed, and believes in his or herself. You are the one who can do that. not him. i'll bet as soon as we've reached Jack and James, Allen'll lead a mutiny against him to have you put back. and if not him, another crew member. no captain i've ever been with was like this. even Cutler Beckett himself wasn't as bad as this. trust me, the crew want stand for it for long. and he wont be able to punish anyone because it'll only cause an uprise. trust me with that. it wont last long"...

"Oh sure they don't like him, but they started to spread rumors about me after he showed up." She laughed as he got yelled at again by Barbossa and shook her head. "He's just not up to the task of commanding a ship. He's going to have to ask for my help sometime and no, a mutiny would be too cruel on him. After all, he was my singing tutor back before I became a pirate. Besides, it's entertaining watching him being yelled by Barbossa." She folded her hands and just watched in amusement as Eric tried his best to follow Barbossa's orders. "Captain Will said to Barbossa to keep Eric in line. Barbossa's doing a fine job on that."

Will chuckled at the scene unfolding in front of him. every now and then Barbossa would go as far as to hit Eric on the back of his head. Will said "Well, just remember. you have a million gold pieces. that's enough to pay any debt, and to give a family a living for the rest of their lives. keep it in mind Adeline. there's a way out of this marriage...if you decide you dont want it". Rainbow landed on Will's shoulder. he tried to pet the bird but it nearly bit him. it walked down his arm squaking "Adeline! Adeline! RAAAAAAAAK!". Will chuckled and stretched his had to meet Adeline's shoulder. he said "Looks like you have a pet Macaw until we get James and Jack back"

She just nodded and rubbed Rainbow's belly. "How's Elizabeth doing, by the way? I haven't really seen her." She was starting to worry about the other woman and hoped she was doing ok.

Eric, meanwhile was getting really frustrated with Barbossa. He was tired and didn't want to follow the more experienced captain any longer. "Can't I take a rest," he groaned, but that only deserved him another swat on the back of his head. He grumbled.

"Now, young man, don't be askin' the captain for a rest. Do ye think that the captain will give ye a rest? No, a captain will make ye work until the sun sets," said Barbossa sternly. This man had much to learn. He wondered why Adeline would resign and give away the commanding to this inexperienced oaf.

"She's fine, just fine". "And worried about you" came a voice on the stairway, climbing up onto the quarterdeck. she walked up next to Will, and then said "But Will's right. the reward from the French Governor could solve this problem easily. just give your father the money, and tell him your not going to marry Eric, in private if possible, and then head back out to the port. after this is all over, you can come with us if you like. im sure James'll be willing to get you a new ship". Elizabeth grinned slightly as she said it. she felt there was something going on between those two, and had little doubt James'd probably do something about the brainless gorilla that was now in charge of the ship.

"But, what if..." She stopped herself before she asked the question and smiled. "I will do that, thank you, both of you." Her eyes focused on Eric. His eyes were pleading with hers to help him get away from Barbossa, but she just shrugged and twirled a strand of her hair around her finger, trying to look innocent. "What am I suppose to do," she asked with a sigh. "I am only your fiance. I can do nothing." She walked by the staring Eric and tried to suppress a chuckle at his gaping mouth when she did walk by him. "If you don't mind, my dear intended, I am going to just relax and watch while you work. After all, you are the charming captain of this ship." She batted her eyes and smiled at him, before sitting down on the stairs, waiting...waiting...

He finally walked over. Adeline's arms were crossed and she couldn't stop the grin that was on her face. She was expecting him to yell at her, but she will have none of that. She was fully prepared to deal with him.

"A little support would help," he hissed. "And stop trying to appease me."

"What? I thought you liked appeasement. You were certainly appeased when I put one of your flowers in my hair." She frowned.

"I-" He was interrupted when he heard Barbossa's approaching footsteps.

Adeline sighed. Now Barbossa was just getting annoying. She was going to stay to see what he said though.

Enough harassin the poor girl! ye 'ave work ta do!". he grabbed Eric by the neck and dragged him back. the crew started to laugh and Barbossa just looked at them and yelled "What're ya laughin at?! back ta work!". Elizabeth just shook her head. she had heard that line before.

Adeline was having fun, while Eric was being miserable.

"But, Barbossa, she wanted me to come over," he tried to reason and rubbed his neck to ease the pain. "I wasn't in any way harrassing her." He glared at Adeline and tried to talk to her, but would have none of that. So instead, he tried to ignore Adeline as much as possible and go back to his work with Barbossa.

"I think I'm doing a pretty good job," she murmured to Rainbow, but she was expecting for Barbossa to yell at her too, but was quite happy that he didn't. In fact, she was in a very cheery mood. She started to whistle "A Pirate's Life for Me." and watched as the crew worked as hard as possible.

Rainbow joined in on the whistling. "Yo ho yo ho a parrot's life for me! RAAAAAAAAK!" he squaked...

Meanwhile... At World's End.

"Bloody rock! get away from me!!!" yelled James. he was off the Black Dragon, and was walking around her, wondering how he was going to get her back in the water. problem was...he was in the middle of nowhere, and there were rocks everywhere. perfectly round and smooth ones...and they seemed to be chasing him...

"You know Rainbow, I wonder what James could be doing now." She began to rub the bird on the belly again. "I hope he is doing all right...and that he hangs in there. I also wonder when we're going to make it to Singapore." She got up and walked to Barbossa's side. She hoped that he wouldn't get angry for bothering him. "Barbossa, how long before we get to Singapore?" She tried to supress another chuckle as he started to yell at Eric for the...what? She lost count how many times Barbossa yelled at the poor man. "Is Eric ever going to give up with this whole captain thing? He makes a better singing tutor than a captain. Oh, poor Eric..." She tried to talk to Eric in the process, disrupting him of his work. "Maybe you should take a break. I could take over, if you want that is."

"No, I cannot take any breaks," Eric murmured, not looking once at Adeline. He tried to avoid a conversation with her and concentrated on his work. He didn't want to hear the pirate captain yell at him again. He was starting to develop a headache.
