Godzilla snarled at Lord ghidorah:"If you want revenge, then I suggest you expect to have to fight to get it!" Spines flashing blue, the former monster king opened his maw and fired a beam at Lord ghidorah...

Seeing the movement out of the corner of his eye, Anguirius leapt to the side before turning to face Vertigo. Without hesitating, the ankylosaur unleashed a sonic roar on Vertigo, the way the creature's tail was posed enough to tell him that it wanted to attack him...

Lord Ghidorah folded his wings together, and the resulting shield blocked Godzilla's Atomic Ray. The space dragon hissed, "As I expected. But don't worry about that, my scaly friend. I'll fight you before I rip your former birthplace to pieces. After my last visit to Earth, it's the least you deserve for surviving for so long after I made all of your kind go extinct!"

Godzilla was about to attack Lord ghidorah, but the space dragon's words made him hesitate for a momment. He snarled:"You...killed the others of my kind?! You've been on this planet before?"

Lord Ghidorah grinned. "You didn't know? How unfortunate. Why not ask your little friend, Mothra? That little bug, with her big, bad brother, were the only things that stood in the way of me destroying this planet 65 million years ago, in the humans' insignificant terran time. Of course, back then they were one creature, until I tore them apart. That move nearly cost me my life, however, and I was forced to leave. You were one of the few animals on this planet that escaped my wrath, and you will get it today, along with Mothra and the rest of your friends!"

Vertigo disappeared in a flash of green light, appearing only a few feet from Anguirius' side. Tail lashing out, the appendage slashed the spiked creature's unprotected underbelly, the angle only allowing for a small, yet somewhat deep cut, tail retracting back defensively...

Godzilla didn't show it on his face, but his mind was in shock from what Lord ghidorah had told him. He knew that he would have to wait until he either killed Lord ghidorah or the dragon left to truly think over the words he had just heard. Opening his jaws again, the mutated saurian fired a fireball straight into Lord ghidorah's chest, the force enough to make Lord ghidorah stumble back slightly...

Anguirius snarled in pain from the slash, but he quickly turned and charged into Vertigo, ramming her with enough force to send her sliding into several trees...

Lord Ghidorah swiftly recuperated and hissed, "Enough chit-chat. It's time for you to die, Godzilla!" He fired his Gravity Beams, picking the monster up into the air and tossing him to the side, letting him slide across the beach.

Even as he slid, Godzilla fired a beam from his mouth into Lord ghidorah's left foot, the beam's force causing the space dragon to trip. Godzilla got back to his feet and waited for the dragon to get up...

As Vertigo slid back into the trees, the bipedal serpent sprayed the spiked creature's face with venom, temporarily blinding it. Vertigo finally righted herself, disappearing in yet another flash of light, appearing behind Anguirius, waiting...

Getting to his feet, Lord Ghidorah snarled and bombarded Godzilla with his Wing Lightning, trying to wear the Monster King down...

Ignoring the electricity that was striking his body, Godzilla picked up a nearby boulder and hurled into into Lord ghidorah's middle head, the blow enough to interupt the wing lightning...

Anguirius quickly shook his head until his vision cleared before glancing around. Not seeing the creature to either side of him, he did the only thing he could think of if his foe was behind him. Leaping back spikes first, the ankylosaurs collided with vertigo, several of the spikes on his back piercing her flesh and the force of the collision knocking her down, although when Anguirius landed, the only part of the serpent like creature that was caught under his spikes was the last few feet of her tail. Quickly leaping back to his feet, anguirius turned and waited for Vertigo to make her move, ready to close his eyes in case she spat more acid...

Hissing in anger and pain, Vertigo lashed out with her tail, the blade slicing Anguirius' chin before he moved out of range. Getting to her feet, Vertigo bared her fangs angrily at the spiked creature, tail arched once again, defensively, waiting for Anguirius to make another move...

Stunned momentarily, Lord Ghidorah backed up a few paces, then fired his Gravity Beams again. This time, he dragged Godzilla across the beach several times before sending him slamming into the treeline.

Godzilla hissed angrily from being dragged across the beach, then quickly fired a beam into Lord ghidorah's stomach, the dragon being knocked onto his back...

Anguirius ignored the blow to his chin, now thinking over his next move. Running at Vertigo, then jumping to the side at the last second would put him at risk of the creature's long, bladed tail. Charging forward, the ankylosaur made it look like he inteded to attack the other creature's leg when suddenly, he lept forward and collided with Vertigo, landing on top of her. Using his left front foot to keep the creature's mouth shut, He restrained her right arm with his own right foot while he used the claws on his rear feet to slash Vertigo in the gut...

Vertigo stabbed forward with her tail, puncturing the creature's unprotected stomach, the blade leaving a deep, yet small wound, enough to weaken the creature's grip on her other limbs. Disappearing in a flash of light once more, Vertigo appeared on Anguirius' left side, lashing out with her clawed foot, striking the spiked monster's head, dazing him with the attack...

Despite being dazed from the blow to his head, Anguirius lashed out with his tail in the direction he had seen Vertigo's foot come from, his tail striking vertigo in her left shoulder. Once he recovered from being struck in the head, the ankylosaur lunged upward with his head, headbutting Vertigo hard enough to daze her for a few seconds while he leapt backwards...

Regaining her composure, Vertigo spat venom at the spiked creature, the precise spit colliding with its head, burning anything it got on, though was not as widespread as the spray. Taking advantage of the situation, Vertigo arched her tail forward, staring straight at the monster, who could still very much see, although its eyes burned, twirling her tail in a fast circle, the end of her tail beginning to glow faintly. "Look upon the face of death!" Vertigo hissed, preparing to torment the monster's mind...

Charging forward again, he leapt into the air and curled himself up before he landed, now presenting the other creature a ball of spiked armor. Tumbling forward, the spiked creature collided with Vertigo again, knocking her back. Uncurling himself and quickly getting back to his feet again, Anguirius waited for Vertigo to get up, ready to avert his eyes from her own and the glowing tail blade...

Vertigo disappeared once more, appearing behind the spiked creature once more, swinging the still-glowing tail blade, cutting into the creature's back leg, causing said leg to buckle. Pulling out the blade, Vertigo sprayed another stream of venom over Anguirius' back, the acidic liquid burning away at the spikes on its back, Vertigo stepping to the side to prevent another body slam...

Anguirius snarled in pain from his leg buckling, but he was still able to stand on it. Whirling in the direction he had felt the strike come from, Anguirius caught Vertigo with a sonic roar before she had a chance to block it. Swinging his tail low, he tripped the acid spitting creature before he backed up, wary of the tail blade and ready to move if he saw the creature teleport again...
