Suddenly, the Engineer turned it's attention to the holstered pistol, trying to pull it out. "You might as well let him have it," Lissarkh said. "He's not going to wreck it."

Serephir eyed it for a moment, deciding to let it take a look, though he had his scanning visor show him what it was doing in detail, just in case it attempted to fiddle with the weapon...

As the Engineer picked up the weapon, it put it back on the ground, floating closer to the floor. Immediately, it began dismantling the pistol into its component parts, reassembling into different configurations several times, before returning it back to its original form, all in the matter of a few seconds. "Impressive, eh?" hissed Lissarkh, as the Engineer handed the weapon back to Serephir.

Serephir eyed the weapon warily, letting his scanner do a run down of the weapon to make sure it was intact. once he was sure it was, he holstered it again. "You realise it could be gathering intelligence via how everything you have works, right? if the Covenant ARE against you, this would be a very good way of figuring out how to saboutage your defensive capability"...

Grievous shook his head. "It has no way of getting back to the Covenant anyway. Unless they somehow managed to get to Trandosha again, which they won't without me knowing, this Engineer is here to stay." The Engineer, ignoring the conversation, continued flitting around the shuttle bay, looking at all the new technology before its six eyes...

"but does information it gathers have a way to get to them?" asked Serephir warily...

Lissarkh shook her head this time. "From what the Sangheili gave us about the Covenant, Engineers are incapable of even speaking to most other Covenant races, and even then it's only through sign language. There was nothing about long-range communication."

"...Creative." one alien soldier commented as it inspected the mangled lump of metal that was the turret. "I try." another responded, looking down over the lightly-damaged barrier, down at the slumped figure below, who had finally stopped bleeding. "Need help down there?" the soldier messaged its ally, gathering a thin but strong rope-like object, extending it down to their injured comrade, which grabbed on, the rope retracting automatically, pulling the soldier back up the barrier...

"Ah" responded Serephir, satisfied for now...though he was still somewhat uncomfortable about the machine's presence...

Spikeblade climbed back up the wall, heading for the second turret, looking around carefully. Seeing that the soldiers were distracted, the Lictor immediately went to work hacking away at the second turret, hoping to do a significant amount of damage before being spotted...

The shuttle, which was now safely in the Malevolence's hangar, opened up, letting the occupants out. Lissarkh kept a gentle hold on the Engineer's tentacle, guiding it with her and the rest of the group towards the bridge.

The turret, its emergency systems not yet damaged unlike its now-destroyed brethren, wailed an alarm at the damage, immediately alerting the soldiers around it. While their injured comrade was hoisted onto the barrier with the help of two soldiers, the rest converged on the turret, immediately spying the Lictor through their various vision modes, opening fire at the Tyranid...

Meanwhile, beings of various sizes moved out onto the snowy plain that preceded the gorge...

Spikeblade leaped behind the turret again, using it for cover and trying to do even more damage, though he was prepared to leap away from anything explosive the soldiers had in store for him...

The Malevolence jumped into Hyperspace, only a short journey to the neighboring planet of Geonosis...

Can I play?

Native name: Slythrmartyr (sli-ther-mar-ter)
environment: Jungly with swampy patches
Regions:
Dominant species: Saurians
Tech level: Have ships, but no laser weapons.
Animal life: many dinosaur like creatures and giant insects.

I'll finish this up later today or tomorrow. Enjot this little thing for right now!!!!

OOC: We have a profile topic for a reason...

The soldiers opened fire from both sides of the turret, the device too small for the Lictor to hide from all angles, trying to preserve the turret for the moment...

Spiekblade used his incredible speed to leap and bound around the turret, swinging at it whenever he got a chance, relying on his armored carapace to deflect glancing shots and keep the injuries to a minimum...

"...alright, what demands" An Imperial voice responded back towards the ship. The Imperials remained quiet...never before had they suffered a defeat this huge. This completely changed everything. It seemed they had no choice but to listen. They had no chances at the moment. The Imperials, both on the ground and in space realized the situation. They had lost...and they had no other choice now but to see what demands were to be made and how they could cope with them.

Krythnriin, riding in his ship, adrift in space, with seemingly no where to go.... Just the way he likes it.

Having left Sythiinmatyr a few days ago, Kythnriin hunts for humans to kill. His pet Chitinid, Kluyr, lets out a low whimper.

I'm sorry, Kluyr, but there's no food for you right now. Don't worry, though- I'll find you some.

Krythnriin fires up his ship's turbo and flies deeper into space.

"Leave. Courscant is no longer part of the Empire. You and your civilians will be given permission to leave without incident." the voice responded, showing a very slight amount of arrogance within the machine-like tone. They would allow the departure of the Imperials from the planet...in truth, this battle was more a moral blow then a strategic one. The Imperials attempted to invade and take over Shadow Haven's old home world in the past...and now, Shadow Haven was in possession of their own precious home world. Now the Imperials finally got what they so dearly deserved...

The turret swerved on its own, attempting to shake loose its attacker, which conflicted with the Lictor's own movements, causing it to take more hits from the attacking soldiers...

"If this is to be what happens...very well. But in order to evacuate properly, we do need proper control of the Imperial News network" The Imperials responded. At least with the news network they could distribute the news around the planet in a quick manner. Every single Imperial never thought they would see this happen but there was some partial hope...

With a final stab into the center of the turret's structure, Spikeblade leaped away, back over the barrier and out of sight. The Lictor hissed angrily and began stalking the rest of the barricade, looking for any more fresh targets, also waiting for a chance to attack another soldier, or go after the turret again...

The Malevolence arrived in orbit over Geonosis, and the shuttle carrying Grievous, Lissarkh, Serephir, and the rest headed down towards the planet's orange, dusty-coated surface. "Welcome to Geonosis, my friend," said Grievous, viewing the surface below with a holographic projector in the center of the table that was in the shuttle.
