Grievous pointed at the map, spotting the sweeping, curved pyramidal structure. "There. That certainly can't be a natural formation."

"Do you want to storm it now or would you rather give them some time and attack when they aren't suspecting it?" asked Serephir as he eyed the base, scanning returning to normal satellite imagery, the base marked by a small red dot, a tag marking it as 'Covenent Base'...

"Guessed what? I'm the one drinkin' and you aren't makin' any sense!" the man replied enthusiastically, slamming the glass onto the bar...

Meanwhile, the shuttle-like craft entered hyperspace, having long since acquired the technology to detect hyperspace jumps, though, obviously, had little use for it. Finally putting it to good use, the shuttle followed the TGDA flagship, rather then the majority of the fleet, hoping to follow it to an outpost or other such location...

"On the contrary. Your the one drinking to the point its getting to your head" Kystion said. He walked back to the man and stared into the shadow created by his hood. His eyes, adapted to living in darkness, be it under the ocean, or in the blackness of space, peirced the shroud, able to see the man's features, most notabley being the bases of horns on his head. "I know Zabracks arent a popular race to be...but I dont recall them being hunted either..."

The barkeep was forced back a number of feet by an unseen force. "Invasion of privacy! I don't appreciate that." the man replied angrily...

"I dont recall them being able to use telekenesis either..." Kystion said as he regained his balance, staring at the man. He had heard stories of races being able to tap into a force of sorts and use the power bestowed with the gift. There was a group of elite force users...their name escaped the Ascatian...

"Half the people in this bar would know why, but you are still clueless." the man said, laughing loudly...

"Clueless as the other half of the bar" Kystion said, approaching the man again. "I've heard stories...of a group of people that were looked up to in the old republic... their name escapes me..."

Grievous shook his head. "They'll be expecting us no matter how long we wait, and I don't want them finding us first and landing the first blow. I want the base out of commission ASAP, so we don't have to deal with them again."

The Malevolence had arrived back at Florn, continuing its orbit around the planet, unaware of the Covenant Stealth Corvette that slunk away around the dark side of the planet...

"You...really are a simpleto-" the man began, before turning toward the entrance of the bar, where a group of helmeted beings had arrived, talking to one of the patrons. "Aw crap." the man breathed, the bottle lifting back into the air, landing hard on the self where it had originated, almost falling off the self in the process. The man stood up shakily, heading toward the opposite side of the bar...

The shuttle arrived some distance from the planet, deciding to appear on the largely unpopulated side of the planet, rather then directly follow the TGDA flagship. The craft began its descent toward the planet's surface...

Kystion looked to the stumbling man to the strange figures at the entrance, and back to the man, thouroughly confused. "What the hell are they doing?! This a public place, they cant just barge in and start questioning the customers!" He snarled. Were they the city's law enforcers? If so, why were they in a pub instead of on the city streets was beyond him...

The shuttle touched down on the planet's surface, landing in an uninhabited part of the jungle...

As the man stumbled to the other side of the building, he was approached by another hooded being, who placed a three-pronged hand on his shoulder, trying to direct him away. The man protested angrily, pushing the smaller being away, before being struck on the head by the limb, composing himself slightly, trying to control his lack of focus. The smaller being began to lead the man away, hoping to find an alternate exit...

Kystion, having decided that the man's actions were from his excessive drinking, jumped onto the bar table and swung his legs over it, planting them on the floor on the other side. He made his way to the small being and growled "Theres a cellar we can keep our drunken friend in until...who ever they are... leave", glancing to the newcommers...

Serephir nodded. "Commander, ready some V-35s for a preliminary strike. i want them to be defenseless when we move in. I want 3 Dropships ready for a Pincer Team deployment planetside in 10 minutes" said Serephir as he looked over at the Troop Deployment Supervisor, Troop Commander Higgins. the officer saluted, before walking down a ramp at the side of the Command Deck of the bridge, heading for the Personnel management panel, and proceeding with the order...

Grievous nodded. "That's a good idea. The base, at least what's visible on the surface, is probably well-shielded. Be careful, though. They know we're coming, and Covenant anti-air technology is particularly lethal."

"Excellent. Come, my drunken friend! Let us avoid the mercenaries." the small being said quickly, grabbing the man's arm, before waiting for the bartender to lead the way.

The back of the craft hissed as pressure was released, the back panel falling to the ground with a loud thud. A figure emerged from the dark depths of the vessel, stalking out into the jungle, swinging its body from side to side to survey the area. It was relatively large at about 6 feet tall at its tallest point, which happened to be its hulking shoulders. The being was hunched over, giving it a somewhat bipedal stance, its upper back being the bulkiest part of its form, covered in plates from its shoulders to the end of a relatively small metallic tail, giving it an armadillo form of armor. Its arms, which seemed to sprout from its chest rather then its shoulders, were held close to its chest, much smaller in overall size then its hunched back, each hand ending in three massive blades, obviously not designed to actually hold things.

Its head, almost impossible to notice thanks to its small size, extended somewhat lower then its shoulders, facing down at an angle. Its squarish head was devoid of any features, excluding its dark eyes, which, lacking any form of light or color, gave it the appearance of being deactivated, its head being held up by a thin neck. Its legs, though powerful enough to give the machine quite a bit of speed, were much smaller in comparison to its upper half, its stance a cross between that of a raptor and that of an ape. From each end of its shoulders, running down the length of its back, were jagged metal spikes, whose purpose, besides protecting against any beings trying to leap onto its back, was mostly aesthetic. Its design was a balance of functionality and appearance, its creators building it in what they believed was "their image".

As the machine moved forward silently, four more of its kind, almost exact replicas of itself, followed after it, each stalking off into the jungle with surprising speed. Their goal was simple: Identify any source of metal on the planet, whether it be civilian housing, a military base, or even military machines. Though effective, they knew better then to openly reveal themselves on a hostile world. As they made their way further into the jungle, they seemed to disappear completely, cloaking systems shrouding them from view, the shifting vegetation being the only sign of their presence...

Kystion nodded and walked back to the bar.Once there, he leaped over the table, landing with a dull thud on the wooden floor. He turned around and undid a latch, a small wooden plank that blended seemlessly with the front of the bar swining open on a bronze colored hinge...

Grievous paced impatiently around the holographic table, scrutinizing the map carefully and irritably...

A hulking figure, along with two more, stood on the Covenant Base's "Observation Platform," which was actually several hundred meters underground, a number of external cameras linking to holographic screens that the alien triumvirate watched. "So, did you actually manage to KILL the Koult?" the tallest figure asked, who stood to the left of his superior, arms crossed casually. "I assure you, Majorus, the Jedi will not rise again. Not any time soon, anyway. Now, all we have to do is wait." "Are you certain they will come?" the third figure asked. This one was thin and frail, sitting in a floating chair, its body swathed in gold-and-red robes, only its long neck, small head, and clawed hands showing. "Yes," the central figure replied. "They will want us out of their territory." The alien waved a massive hand towards the pillar of purple light in the center of the room, which held a spherical device, glowing gold. "But, if you don't believe me, just ask him..."

The small hooded being led the drunken man toward the cellar entrance, the man mumbling to himself, but otherwise did not protest. The small being went first, staying near the entrance to ensure its drunken companion would fall head first into the floor, helping him down into the cellar...

Kystion moved past the drunken man and his smaller counterpart. He stopped at the large retangular door, which didnt look too different than the wall itself. He twisted the knob and pried it open a bit, enough for the duo to step in. He glanced back to the mercinaries, making sure they didnt see...
