The Super Gyaos flew away from the fireball as it grazed it, reducing the damage, and fired its Sonic Ray back at Gamera as he pulled up from the collision...

Gamera's shell was hit by the sonic beam, but it wasn't of any concern to him. After he finished pulling up, he flew managed to bring himself so that he could fly directly at the Gyaos once again, sending a trio of fireballs at the creature...

The Super Gyaos, anticipating the attack this time, swooped low, under the fireballs and the ram, flipping over and slashing Gamera's underbelly with its talons as it passed.

Horus, monitoring the air above the Atlantic, locked onto the incoming Gyaos, sending the message to Osiris that they had some potential pests heading their way, as he began charging his beam, eyes glaring menacingly towards the targets, intending to annihilate them unless Osiris had a better idea...

Gamera snarled from the slash, but he launched a fireball once the Gyaos had entered his line of sight, the fireball slamming into the Gyaos, although not killing it. Bringing himself to a hover, Gamera waited to see if the Gyaos would try to make another go at his underbelly or if it would not take the bait and wait for him to make the move instead...

The Super Gyaos tumbled away, scorched, but otherwise fine. Managing to hover to a stop, the creature glared at its potential prey, waiting for Gamera to try something...

Gamera, noticing that the Gyaos hadn't made a move, launched a fireball at it, only to follow up with a quick barrage after the first one had reached a good distance from him, trying to catch the Gyaos off guard with the delayed barrage rather than having used it right away...

The Super Gyaos suddenly dove at the ground, the fireballs sailing harmlessly overhead, the monster leveling out near the ground, swooping up at Gamera from below, firing its Sonic Ray several times...

Gamera, ignoring the pain from the sonic beam slicing across his underbelly dove down at full speed, colliding with the Gyaos hard. It had done what he had wanted in making a move, although he had been caught slightly off guard when it had dove down. Seeing the winged beast hit the ground, he sent a fireball at it's right wing, readying another in case that failed to cripple it or the Gyaos managed to escape the first one...

The fireball hit the Super Gyaos' wing, but even then the monster managed to right itself, albeit clumsily, being significantly tougher than a normal Gyaos. Landing on the ground, it fired its Sonic Ray, trying to hit Gamera's soft underbelly...

The sonic beam hit Gamera's underbelly, but only near the tail area. Landing on the ground not far from the Gyaos, he lumbered forward, sending a another fireball at the Gyaos, although he was readying his most powerful attack to finish the fight...

The Super Gyaos crouched, the fireball sailing overhead, and its Sonic Ray low, at Gamera's legs, to try and trip the monster...

Snarling, Gamera stumbled slightly from the sonic beam to his leg, but it hadn't stopped him from preparing his mana beam. Opening his jaws, the firey beam erupted forward and struck the Super Gyaos, knocking it back for several feet while doing damage at the same time...

The mana beam began pushing the screeching Super Gyaos backwards, and after a few hundred meters, completely vaporized the creature, leaving only small chunks that sailed through the air...

Gamera roared in triumph when he saw what was left of the Super Gyaos before he turned his attention to his wounds. They had leaked blood, but weren't serious and were already starting to heal. The ancient creature resumed heading further into the continent, intent on searching for more Gyaos...

The massive wasp's form was suspended over a platform, mechanical clamps constraining his body as mechanical arms worked meticulously on his metalic hide. While the wasp's visor was now a colorless grey crescent across his face, Spinnerax's natrual regeneration worked, minor to medium injuries being healed already, while the severe missing chunks of his hide was being recreated rappidly, a transperant yellow membrane forming over the wounds before hardening into his scale like carapace, able to with stand the heat of plowing through the atmosphere at high speeds without showing any signs of damage..

Within GDF bases scattered around the world, three units were now activated: G1, Pred-1, and Razortail. A universal message ordered them to head to an island off the coast of Costa Rica, where a training mission would be held. With the relative relax in monster activity, many units were not getting the combat experience they needed. Global Defense took it upon themselves to arrange various training to prevent such long down time. A monster, one, actually, that was a failed experiment of theirs, now inhabited the island in question. This creature was a fairly fast healer, considering its unique design, and was generally not a threat to modern life; it usually remained far from civilization, taking residence on one of the islands dotting the world, which it would defend territorially. A perfect subject for their training exercises...

Jackson Stritch in his orange uniform jogged into the mecha bay and up a mobile stair unit, like those you use to board a commercial jet. The stairs stopped at the access terminal for MG1. When Jackson stepped into the terminal, the access panel closed with a hiss of air, and seconds later, G1's pilot was at his post, hand gripping the controlls of the craft. Metal clamps from below the jet mode mech rose up and tilted the large air craft towards the ceiling, a tunnel opening where G1 was pointed at. The roar of jet engines filled the mecha bay as Jackson initiated the launch maneuver, red flames spewing out of its engines before the clamps released the jet and lowered, the machine roaring up and through the exit..

Pred-1 launched himself out of an underground hangar like a rocket, flying out of the GDF base and making a course for the island in question...
