The GDF mechs, upon arrival, would take shelter on one of the other islands in the chain, awaiting their time to fight. The first combatant would be Razortail, mostly as a diagnostic after his last crippling fight, to make sure he was back in top fighting condition. The second would be Pred-1, a relatively seasoned unit, though had seen little fighting in recent times, and needed the time to practice. Finally, there was G1, one of their primary mecha units, though, like Pred-1, did not see as much action lately, and was in need of practice. G1 would go last to give the others a chance to fight the plant-like monster in question while it was relatively healthy...

Pred-1 arrived at the designated island first, landing on the shoreline and standing stock still, waiting for orders...

Razortail arrived at the island not long after Pred-1, landing on the ground not far from his mechanical ally, waiting for the command the strike the monster they had been sent to battle...

Seeing as he was the last fight, Jackson didnt push G1 to his suer sonic top speed, simply cruising over the ocean towards the chain, approaching at a steady speed, but not so that he'd have to wait a long time for his excercise upon arrival...

The order was given for Razortail to head to the nearby island, which, if one stood at the coast of the current island, was visible in the distance. Already the jungle itself was moving...the foliage, however, seemed to move out of the way, rather then be forced. The island was also much more overgrown then its counterparts, which were almost identical...

Razortail took to the air and flew to the nearby island at mach 4, reaching it in 6 minutes. He had seen the movement in the jungle, but didn't attack just yet, preffering to wait for the creature to reveal itself to him to avoid wasting missles...

A glob of acid shot from the jungle, which was now emitting an irritated rattle-like sound, the glob barely missing the cyborg's wing as it splattered against the ocean behind him. Biovine emerged from the foliage, towering over it, raising its hand to spray a stream of acid at the GDF cyborg...

Razortail flew to the side quickly when he saw Biovine raise it's hand before firing a volley of 6 missles into the creature. Even as the explosions were starting to clear, he fired several shells from the railgun on his head in the direction of the creature's scent, tracking it through that method even if he couldn't see it through the smoke left by the explosions...

Biovine used its thick, plant-covered arms to lessen the damage of the attacks, swiping the air with its gargantuan limbs to clear the area of smoke. "Finger" vines extending, the lumbering creature used them as a whip, snapping the makeshift weapon against the cyborg's leg, attempting to pull it down...

Razortail pointed the device on his right front limb and fired his space titanium cutting laser, slicing the "fingers" with ease and releasing him while he directed across Biovine's arms and then to part of the creature's chest before launching another volley of missles, which flew up and began to approach the creature's back as the dragon flew to the right, watching the plant like creature carefully as he kept himself prepared to dodge anything it might send at him...

Biovine flopped to the ground as the missiles were launched, pressing himself flat against the jungle, seemingly merging with it, causing the missiles to explode a short distance in front of him at an angle. Rising back up, the creature inspected the damage done to its arm, vines and other foliage creeping across the wounds, already beginning to repair it, while a jet of acid was shot onto the cyborg from the plant-like creature's other arm...

Razortail was resitent to the acid, but he quickly shook it off to prevent it from leaving a damaged area Biovine could exploit. Taking advantage of the creature raising it's other arm, he fired his laser again, slicing into the limb easily and being swept down to the furthest point that it was exposed before firing shells from his rail gun into the begining of the wound...

Biovine retracted the limb, blocking the incoming shots with his shoulder, while the arm was once again aided by various foliage snaking across his body, leaves rattling, making an almost unbearable noise, bombarding the cyborg with the sound, while a mist of poisonous gas, almost unnoticeable, was launched toward it...

Razortail's sharp eye sight allowed him to spot the poison cloud and he flew out of it's path, but he kept shaking his head from the sonic assult. Having memorized where the poison cloud had come from, the cyborg launched several cluster bombs from his back in the direction of both direction he had seen the cloud start moving and the sonic assult was coming from, some of the bombs exploding on Biovine's back while others exploded close to the creature's arms. Flying up Higher to prevent a possible suprise attack, the dragon then let loose with his space titanium laser once again, focusing it on where he had first heard the source of Biovine's leaves scrapping...

A few tendrils exploded out of the jungle some distance away, small, flower-like objects at their tips, which sprayed acid onto the cyborg from three different directions before returning to the ground, snaking their way underground back to Biovine, who began to move through the jungle, his bulky form withstanding, for now, the attacks the cyborg was trying to aim at him...

Razortail flew forward to get rid of most of the acid, then fired a volley of missles in the direction of the noise caused by Biovine moving, all of them slamming into the creature's back and blowing chunks out of it while the space titanium laser swept across the area where the noise of the movement was coming from. He didn't dare use missles that released flaming liquid for risk of burning the whole jungle to the ground and with that, any chance of the creature healing itself enough to be taken on by Pred-1 and G1...

Biovine, rattling increasing in volume, burst from the jungle, firing two globs of acid at the cyborg, the first colliding with its head, the sticky substance eating away at the GDF unit, while the second collided with one of its wings. Biovine's "fingers" extended yet again, lashing the air in front of the cyborg, as if daring it to come closer...

Osiris considered the message carefully and then replied "Pests? What are they? Placentra, can you track them?"

"Already doing so...mainstream information calls them....gyaos...they were a problem in the past." Placentra replied from within Osiris..

Razortail shook his head, shaking off most of the acid and flew forward, causing the acid that had struck one of his wings to fall off as well. Taking advantage of Biovine's exposed state, he fired two drill missles into the creature's back before he let loose with his laser again, slicing it across the creature's flower like head, although he moved it quickly enough to prevent it from doing anything that could kill the creature. Still keeping his laser beam going, he directed it at the creature's "fingers"...
