Space E-war

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

After a time of walking, most of which was obstructed, to Revan, by his immense mechanical guides, the leading machine stepped into an expansive room, stepping to the side to allow Revan entrance, the machine behind him forcing the Sith into the room, before standing near the door as well, opposite to its counterpart. A loud click was heard as the door leading out of the room sealed itself. There were two large couches placed in the middle of the room, and toward the back was a circular console. In front of them was a massive window, displaying the unending blackness that surrounded the station. Spanning across it were a series of screens, depicting various things, such as the supernova. The one that had once been overlooking Courscant, however, was now blank. Fox, in the armor he wore as his guise "Spectre", was seated on one of the couches, directly in front of the screens, faceplate retracted, a cigar in his mouth. "Sit." he said, the sound echoing across the mostly empty room.

Revan looked around the room and simply took a seat as he was told. His eyes scanned through Spectre, eyeing him as he again looked throughout the room. "Nice place" Revan simply stated, not much emotion in his voice either way, it was more of a blank statement. Sith folded his arms as he turned back towards Spectre and narrowed is eyes through his mask, rather interested in what the upcoming conversation might reveal.

The Space Bugs around the planet quickly sensed the unnatural presence of the Tyranid fleet approaching, turning as one to face the incoming threat, their red eyes glowing dimly in the pitch-black vacuum of space...

The Hive Fleet descended on the planet, quickly identifying its immediate protectors in space. Kraken ships immediately moved forward to protect the Hiveships, gaping maws smashing together expectantly. Void Fiends fired at the Space Bugs from a distance, the sleek vessels sending a barrage of acidic material at the defense, while the Krakens slowly approached...

Fox said nothing in response, instead taking another puff of his cigar, letting the ash drop into a dish. His eyes remained locked on the masked face of the Sith Lord, though his gaze was oddly calm...

Revan smirked through his mask. From the looks of it, this was likely serious and no more games it seemed. There was no little introduction or anything and it seemed as the two just kept eyeing each other, trying to figure out what the other had in mind. The Sith however wasnt much to wait, especially in this situation. Having no other choice, he just began to simply speak his mind. "Well...you brought me here for a reason..care to say why?" Revan questioned. The echo from his voice in the dark room was rather odd but he got used to it..

The small raka-anra colony had set up a good base. The drones had tunnelled out a well secured and hidden shelter in the mountains while the scout had explored the surrounding areas. Currently, the two drones dug busily, at the edge of the native species 'territory' (the land observed by the scout to be directly protected.) They were forming a small tunnel entrance...

"I needed to see if you truly understand, now..." Fox replied simply, lifting the cigar back to his mouth.

as the Redemption neared, Serephir left the bridge, heading back down to the hanger, a small, sleek shuttle waiting for him and the others. the Geth was brought down in a stasis orb, two silvery rods at either side of the machine, held in a sleeping position, floating with it's 'face' upwards, the stasis pod moving on wheels, rolled into the shuttle, as seets unfolded from the ceiling for Serephir, Grievous and Lissarkh. "Good luck and fare well, General. I hope we meet again" said the Captain with a salute, which Serephir returned before boarding the craft, sitting in one of the surprisingly comfortable seats. Well this is new...Don't remember having this kind of stuff on shuttles before... thought the General. the shuttles engines rumbled lowly for a few moments to let the others in, before roaring to life, launching out of the hanger and down towards Vassek. Around them, the Vardian dreadnoughts that had been left as security in the area, including the gargantuan Executioner, floated silently, engines seemingly offline, the warships having knocked down their power to near minimum, a standby mode to keep the crafts ready for action, though venting the energy of the engines into heat sinks built into the hull to try and lower their energy signature. Geonosis, likewise, had a few Vardian warships stationed there, the Revenge among them...

"If I truly understand? Am I suppose to feel how you feel?" Revan asked in reply with slight hunt of anger in his voice. The Sith tried to keep his composure as he eyes focused on the figure before him. He never recalled wanting revenge so bad. The rage inside him was building...he was like a volcano, waiting to explode..

"Precisely." Fox stated with a smile. "To know that your precious Empire is not invincible." he continued, taking another puff. "You know...they have a saying..." Fox said after a moment of thought. "There are some people in this universe, that you shouldn't f*ck with." he said, putting emphasis on the curse, pointing the cigar at the Sith Lord while it was held between his metal fingers. "I am one of those people." he concluded with a chuckle, bringing the cigar back to his mouth.

"Hmph so now what...if you were trying to send me a message, I got it yet...I dont get how even you get bypass Coursant's defenses. There's no force that can match up to Courscant's defenses head on, even if you broke through all the orbital defenses, the defenses planet side would be just as hard.." Revan stated. The Dark Lord thought of every opponent he had faced and there was nobody he could think off despite some possible contenders. Even if forces got passed the outerim defenses which were the outer core planets with heavy forces of their own, Courscant's position and the military defenses force there would have been too much to fight head on... Courscant always had help around thanks to its position. Taking over Courscant was one thing but destroying it completely? Revan kept his thought up...impossible..it had to be.

Fox laughed. "Not everything must be solved by brute force, my dear friend. Though I suppose it was stupid of me to think you could comprehend such a thing." he explained with a chuckle. "No, your defenses were mostly intact..." Fox answered, taking a puff of the cigar.

"Then stop playing around..what did you do.." Revan asked. Was it a super weapon? But the resources, time and manpower to build such a weapon were very costly. But yet the Sith Lord stopped thinking about possible answers as he angrily waited for the figure before to answer his question. How did Courscant fell was something Revan wanted to find out likely more then anything at the moment.

"Simple." Fox said plainly. "The battle was turning in their favor. But we cared much about our remaining forces, and told them in exchange for information, we would leave without another shot fired." he explained sarcastically, dumping more ash into the dish. "Your allies only wanted to know where you were being held. We told them they had to provide some sort of code to pass or some nonsense like that." he continued, waving a hand dismissively. "Needless to say, it was not quite what we promised. It seems...in their haste to rescue their beloved leader, they lost Courscant." Fox concluded, smirking...

Revan sat there, stunned by their loyalty but also at their incompetence. He knew his men were loyal to him, ready to die or him and would all they could to reclaim him. Then again, he took advantage o this time and time again but it seemed it had backfired. They did not think and foolishly rushed into a trap. Now they had Courscant and their leader. The moment he disappeared, the Empire's leadership weakened, he was their strength but also their weakness..he had failed to see through this and he was paying the price. The Sith simply glared at Fox, unable to properly respond as he could sit in thought..

Grievous preferred to stand, making sure his footpads were magnetically sealed before the shuttle took off. Lissarkh sat down next to Serephir while Mendicant Bias floated around the inert Geth, gazing at it intently, muttering a few things to himself...

Sassk herded Guidance onto a shuttle in the Malevolence's hangar and followed Serephir's own shuttle towards Vassek, so Grievous could properly "interrogate" him...

The Space Bugs eyes glowed even brighter, firing their red energy beams, which moved much more quickly than the acid jets, hitting the incoming Tyranid ships first while moving to dodge the acid, albeit rather sluggishly...

While many Kraken ships were damaged by the attacks, they continued forward until their dying breath, trying to close the distance between themselves and the Space Bugs, while Void Fiends and Dark Prowlers attacked with acid-like material from a distance...

Fox smiled, taking another puff of his cigar. "That mask hides a lot of things...but there are somethings even it cannot contain." he stated with a chuckle, feeling the glare from the Sith...

"Hmph...does it matter...you wanted me to feel pain and now I get it now..I have a sense of your suffering. I can see what revenge can drive a man into doing.." Revan kept his anger glare towards Fox, seeing him with that cigar was almost insulting as if he were mocking the Sith but Revan kept his composure..somewhat. He just led the anger inside him to build and build..

"Good." Fox said simply, still smiling. "Though I hope that isn't a declaration of your own little quest for revenge. Because...if you haven't already noticed...you are at my disposal. Should I get any wind of some grudge out of all of this, I'd sooner see you take a trip outside then make it back to your Empire with the intent to sniff us out." he explained, nodding toward the window and the blackness beyond.

"What are you really planning...if you wanted me to dead, you could have tried already or do you intend on just keeping me here, trying to get me to rot and break down? They say never fight somebody who has nothing to lose and at this moment...I'm rather interested in that direction. Why play games...what do you want by simply keeping me here" Revan questioned. All these questions...he might as well ask them now instead of storing them. The Sith stayed in his seating as he also looked out, looking into the darkness of space..
