The queen clicks and hisses, stating, "we mainly feast upon giant worms that live in this area. We managed to make a kill today on one, considering the last one we had is already gone, and it's in the storage chamber, located nearby this chamber, actually. We also have plenty of vegatation and fruits from the jungles that we partially colonized, so that way we don't have to live off just the meat of a rotting carcass." The soldiers soon drop the three on the muddy-like surface, before bowing and quickly leaving, as the queen escorts each of them to their rooms. "The water source is at the main chamber, which you just saw. There are four main tunnels, leading to the queen chambers, which hold three of my daughters and me, one of which is soon to become the new queen mother of this whole supercolony. My chamber is located at the southern tip of the colony, if you need me," the queen chirps, before heading off to her chamber...

Kluyr heads into his chamber, with Krythnriin and Mhlrtr following, looking mighty tired..........

At the entrance of the guest chamber, food is dropped off there, waiting for the guests to awake and come eat them, along with hardened mud bowls full of water, workers bringing the gifts in, before continuing on with daily work, while diggers tend to make new tunnels nearby. Chuk-Runuk soon reaches her chamber, and looks at her newest batch of eggs, some being carried by workers, others being inspected, as the queen mother sends a brain transmition throughout the entire supercolony, telling all not to disturb the guests of honor, and all do so...

Kluyr collects the food and takes it into the room for the two saurians and himself to eat, grateful........

Admiral Johnson admired the view from the observation post of his capital ship, The Devastation, and smiled, the old man watching as his fleet of G.E.A ships floated around the newest human colony on the planet Meganuri, as they guarded the planet from anything trying to take it over. He soon pressed a red button, and spoke somewhat silently, saying, "Everyone. Protect this planet. This is a key colony for Earth and every human alive." He soon released his bony finger from the button, everyone in the fleet getting the word, as a few others went through slip-space to Ranerius.

Chuk-Runuk, along with the rest of the planet, could easily feel a huge rumble, as G.E.A ships came flying out of slip-space, just above the planet, as the queen mother hissed out, warning everyone of the new threat. Corus-Jerius soldiers ran across the walls of the tunnels in the colony, some checking in on their guests, making sure they were ok, as the rest went to the surface, awaiting what was coming for them...

Krythnriin, Kluyr, and Mhlrtr hear the commotion, eat some of the food, take up their arms, and deicde to investigate.......

The G.E.A ships float lazily above the muddy territory, as multiple buildings carried by transport ships get taken down to the surface of the world, the army colonizing the world. Ants swarmed around the entire mud-like surface, coving the entire area, forcing the low-fueled ships to fly away and go somewhere else, landing in the jungle. Chuk-Runuk started charging to the guest chamber, going to the new guests and try to find somewhere safe for them, knowing they could easily get killed by whatever threat lies above...

"What's going on? We would like to help if we could."

Chuk-Runuk responded with a chrip and click, "it's too dangerous. A soldier reported in. Sky people are invading our planet, and our warriors can hold them off. Saty here, our remaining soldiers will guard you," as she went off back to her chamber, trying to get to her eggs and guard them, along with multiple workers, doing the same with the other three queens.

Infantry transports came flying in without hesitation, dropping mobile infantry ontop of the ants, the soldiers cutting into the bugs with their guns, trying to remove the threats for the newest colony to expand the human race...

Krythnriin draws his liinrette pistol, and Mhlrtr pulls out his short sword, and Kluyr readies for combat. Even though the queen said they would be safe there, the trio readied for battle in case they broke through into the central chamber........

Atleast a hundred soldiers come rushing towards the guest chamber, guarding their new friends, the pathway guarded being the only way into and out of the chamber. Fighting ensues above, as soldiers start ripping the mobile infantry units apart, while at the same time they get cut down by the troopers, who shoot them into the head or blow them up with grenades, rumbling being heard as the engines of the small fleet of ships start up again, the ships slowly flying around the planet now, shaking the small planet itself, and all it's inhabitants.

The old seeder ship Eden-4 twisted and tumbled through space, the engines along it's long wings illuminating the dark. Other than the hum of the engines, the ship was deathly silent. It was recharging it's jump engines. It had been like this for nearly 2 weeks. Jump, then hide, then jump, then hide.
It sent transmissions for help whenever it jumped, but didn't dare listen for replies. One foolish mistake, and the Koult would decend upon it.
The ship was passing into Imperial controlled space, far away from the old battle zone. The Imperials were considered a hostile faction. Things weren't looking good.

More soldiers from the supercolony on Ranerius charged out from the smaller entrances, and started blasting G.E.A soldiers away with the acidic fluids in their bodies. One man dived out of the way and hurled a grenade at the fresh batch of ants, blowing some away, but got grabbed in the mandibles of another and was easily ripped in two. Soon, the battle was being lost for the mobile infantry units that were clearing the area for a new G.E.A colony, and rescue was near impossible. Yet, one life boat came down into a clearing and picked up most of the survivors, though a few stayed behind and fought 'til they died. The G.E.A force left the planet, shaking it violently with the massive engines of their ships, going for a new place for a colony.

"Are the 501st ready?" The officer questioned, pacing nervously throughout the massive warship.
"Sir, they are preparing to be deployed as speak" A lower ranked officer responded as showed his commanding officer a view of the main fleet towards the center of the empire.
"What of Home Fleet: Manaan?" The head officer questioned.
"They are taking a pounding sir, they are barely holding out. Reinforcements from Yavin are approaching but there gonna need more if we're drive them out" The live video feed from a nearby satellite over the planet surveyed the action over Manaan. A water nearly covered in all of water, similar to Kamino. Manaan was important due to its highly valuable resources. They had to drive the enemy out...

In Manaan...

"The Vong has returned and we're taking heavy damage. Where our reinforcements!?" The call was sent out.
"Forget it, focus on defenses. Have the planetary guns firing and prepare for invasion. Have the fleet spread themselves out and disperse themselves when the order is given"
"sir.."The offier paused. "Hold it, we got something new. It isnt one of yours and I dont think its Vong either.." The man stated lowly. The captain in charge narrowed his eyes.

The battle above the battle was intense, capital ships engaging capital ships, fighters engaging fighters while the massive space station above the planet did what it could along with the surface planetary guns, firing into orbit. Despite the powerful Imperial presence.. the massive Vong fleet had caught the empire by surprise..

Its jump engines charged, Eden-4 suddenly discharged a huge amount of energy, the ship lurching forward and rocketing deeper into Imperial space, before suddenly going dead, floating forward, slowing as the constraints of light speed tugged at it's hull.

The ship's sensors flashed left and right scanning every angle in minute detail. There was a battle ahead. The ship could tell, from the sproadic energy bursts flashing from the unassuming system.
The ship made its descision and gradually began changing its course, to bring it into high orbit around the system. Hopefully, it's relative inactivity compared to the frenzy of war would mask the damaged drone's presence. It was too early to determine what kind of conflict was unfolding. Was it a simple raid, or a full on invasion?
Where they occupying, or destroying?

A Covenant task force emerged from Slipspace on the edges of Koult-occupied space. An Assault Carrier, two Battlecruisers, two Corvettes, and a Battleship steadily made their way deeper, letting whatever natives of the system take the initiative. They knew there was an important Flood Containment Facility somewhere here, and they preferred negotiations if they could help it...

"Unknown craft entering orbit, should we track it?" An officer at the main installation at the planet surface questioned.
"Send a probe droid to check it out but keep attention targeted on the Vong Fleet"
"Sir! They are starting orbital bombardment towards the North Pole. If they take out the installations there, we'll be blind up there!" An officer reported.
"Captain, this is 422nd, we've arrived with some fresh reinforcements. We are aware of the situation and will attempt to take out there flank and target enemies after the Northern Stations" A voice suddenly radioed in.
Just like that Imperial reinforcements had arrived. A Imperial Super Class Star Destroyer stood at lead along with several Imperial Class II and other support ships. Within a few moments, they proceeded to enter the battle as the enemy was taken surprise by the sudden reinforcements.

On the planet surface, thousands of enemy invasion craft flew in, landing in various areas in great clusters. Most of the planet consisted of water but the areas of land were soon to be covered with enemy soldiers. The Imperial stations in the water were safe... for now..

The leaving G.E.A fleet went into slip-space, accidently heading into Imperial territory, not knowing of the faction at the time, stopping near a floating ship soon afterwards. "Hello, is anyone onboard?" the fleet's captain spoke into a com link, trying to get a message off to the ship nearby.

Chuk-Runuk ran through the tunnels to the guest chamber as quick as she could, her soldiers guarding the guests making an opening for the queen. She soon came up to her guests, and clicked, "are you all alright? The enemies are gone, it is safe now."

Eden 4 watched what it could of the battle, before the invading fleet dissappeared over the planets horizon. They were dropping down troops. By the looks of it, the Vong intended to form a blockade over the planet, allowing their army to work in earnest on the ground. To make planetfall in such a circumstance was a risky move, either these Vong were insane zealouts, or cunning geniuses with a plan in mind.

Eden-4 slipped around the edge of the planet, pulsing its engines momentarily and allowing itself to fall into a steady orbit. The battle should conceal it from it's pursuers, it was finally safe to take a look at the wider region. In a burst of radiation, Eden 4's primary sensors reactivated, soaking up every detail. It instantly realised that it had fallen right into a trap. The moment it's sensors had activated, a torpedo some 2000 kilometers away had activated it's boost thrusters and was rocketing towards the stricken ship. The koult must have fired the missile after the drone's trail, programmed to wait until it showed itself...

Koult boarder space was on high alert since the hostilities with the Marican drones broke out. They constantly observed the space around their few colonies, as well as wastelander territory which they technically had no right to be watching. The alien fleet was picked up early, sensors spotting the larger ships long before the smaller ones.

The observation post on Kaka-10, an icy moon rich in ore, responded to the new contacts, attempting to hail the incoming ships "This territory is under the care of Koultian military units. Identify yourself." The operator's voice was laden with suspicion.

The gravelly, deep voice of a Sangheili replied to the Koult operator: "We are an artifact retrieval group of the Rejuvenated Covenant Empire. We have discovered the location of a Forerunner installation on the planet Ka'Roll. We wish to study its contents, and take some of the artifacts there with us."
