Krythnriin awakens, ready for something.

"I wonder if the ship is repaired yet........ I'm ready to go home...." he thinks.

he heads out of the chamber and towards the queen's chamber.....

The finally finished Saurian ship, now laying in Chuk-Runuk's chamber, awaiting the guests that had arrived on it. She looked proud at her daughters' work, noticing Krythnriin coming towards her chamber, before hissing, "the ship is done. You all can go home now, but I would be grateful if you decided to stay for a while longer with us." Soon, she sent out a brain wave to the supercolony, telling the workers to come and get the ship, and for the soldiers to go up the main hole and watch out for any type of dangers while the Saurians left...

Krythnriin wondered what she said, but was pretty sure it was that their ship was good. He bows and goes to get Kluyr and Mhlrtr up......

Soon, G.C.M ships were picking up ships in their new territory with the ship radars, before one of the Mr. Gordon androids ordered the ships to fire upon the area. All the ships around what was near them fired plasma bombs at the Imperial ships, trying to hit the cloaked machines, as the G.E.A forces still alive picked up The Devastator's signals, heading in the direction of the transmitions. A lone worker reached Chuk-Runuk's chamber first, and carefully picked the ship up in it's mandibles, some others coming and grabbing it with their maws, carrying it with ease, to make sure nothing happened to it.

Krythnriin wakes up Mhlrtr and Kluyr.

"C'mon guys! The ship's done!"

"That was quick," Mhlrtr says with a yawn. Kluyr cosk his head from side to side, staying eutral. While he would get to go home, he would not have any other creatures like him to talk to, like the queen of this hive......

The plasma bombs found themselves being mostly ineffective as the Imperial Ships fired their point laser defense turrets. The turrets fired the small, fast moving bombs, destroying them before they hit directly with the Imperial vessels. The Imperial vessels locked on to enemy turrets and began to fire towards the enemy ranks, the anti capital ship turbo laser batteries proving highly effective against large ships as Imperial ships were highly geared for powerful defenses and powerful weaponry designed for heavy ship to ship fighting...

Three G.C.M fleets suddenly started attacking the Imperials with plasma rounds, the heated plasma eating away at the shields of each ship. The remains of the G.E.A floated towards the destination of The Devastator, slowly following the starship to a new planet to colonize. Geriu stood next to Jon in the observation deck, watching stars slowly drift by, the two angered at their tretcherous bretheren that attacked them. Back at Cori's G.E.A artic evac site, the power had been disabled to the partially underground base, Saurochus warriors looking for the backup generator for the power, to get light back into the place, G.C.M commandos surrounding the base, guns aimed at the locked door...

"Sir, we have enemy contact, heavy resistance" A crewmen reported.
"The Torpedo Spheres have the green light, dispatch all fighter squadrons" Thrawn commanded. The Grand Admiral eyed the situation as his massive Imperial Fleet countered back. The countless turbo laser batteries slamming into the enemy ships along with ion cannons and anti ship missiles. The anti capital ship weaponry proving effective against the other ships. Thrawn's flagship known as the Terror was an Executor Class Star Dreadnought, similar to the Annihilator but smaller and less firepower but still was a truly devastating foe especially when it a large fleet for support.

Within the Imperial Fleet, massive ships larger then even Star Destroyers known as Torpedo Spheres began to unleash their weaponry. They fired multiple volleys of assault concussion missiles that smashed through shields and ripped through hulls. The incredible amount of missiles that were fired from the spheres had firepower greater then even the powerful Imperial Class..

The damage done to the G.C.M ships was nearly harmless for them, but painful for the shields, as more heated plasma rounds attacked the small Imperial fleet. Heat seeking torpedos filled with plasma hunted down the engines of the Imperial ships, going after them with incredible speed, blowing up with great power. Fighter and bomber squadrons deployed from the carriers of each fleet, the fighters acting as escorts, trying to repel the enemy fighter squadrons, while the larger, bulkier bombers went after the Imperial fleet ships, bombing the hull, bow and tower of each of them, some bombers going for the engines of the ships. Chuk-Runuk sat at the front of her chamber, waiting for her guests, their ship still up at the main entrance of the colony, the fixed vehicle guarded by a small group of soldiers and workers...

The overwhelming firepower eventually would break to shields and rip into the hulls. The Imperial Star Destroyers made up the majority of the fleet and they could unleash the same amount of firepower and take it at the same time. The Imperial ships were designed for massive engagements and capable of fighting a variety of enemy fleets. The GCM was no different. Despite being outnumbered at the moment, the Imperial fleet was stronger then considered. They had a massive flagship that was miles and miles in length with a powerful anti capital ship escorts.

Point Laser turrets easily blasted enemy fighters and bombs as they came in range before they even unleashed their payload. Besides the point laser turrets, the TIE Interceptors and TIE Fighters engaged the enemy aircraft. The nimble fighters moved at great speed, attacking swarms and eradicating groups of fighters providing excellent defense.

The multiple Torpedo Spheres continued to hammer the enemy fleet from a safe distance with their anti capital ships weaponry. Shields could only take so much from weapons that were designed to not only rip through shields but also decimate the hull on contact. The infamous combo of Ion Cannons and Turbo Lasers being placed to work once again and the fact that volleys and volleys of missiles were put into the mix also worked to Imperial favor..

Soon, a massive G.C.M warship, being miles long, no where near matching the length of the flagship, however. Following behind the warship out of slip-space came a couple of capital ships, being atleast a few miles longer than the warship, fired their massive super cannons at the Imperial flagship. The enormous beams from the super cannons did some powerful damage as they are intended to do, the G.C.M flagship Rover slowly coming in, the ship being the length of nearly three capital ships, somewhat longer than the Imperial flagship itself. The fighter battle was starting to turn out into the Imperial's favor, but the G.C.M drone ships called fighter hunters came soaring in, chasing after TIE fighters as the fighters attacked the interceptors, swarming after them, while the horde of bombers continued towards the Imperial ships...

OOC: If this "OMG NEW REINFORCEMENTS!" continues I'm going to have a planet sized pacman eat both fleets and crap them out into a black hole.
Also, stop the "OMG IT DID CRITICAL DAMAGE" and the "NO IT WAS IN-EFFECTIVE!"
Get your act together guys.

Mataka fell quiet, seeing that what he'd said was obviously much more relevant than he had thought

Straven replied cooly "The flood were wiped out. They made it off planet, but they were pursued and destroyed. The incident was contained."

'Taralumee sighed in relief. "Excellent, excellent. At least the Containment Facility is most likely clean. Any exploration will be much simpler now."

Straven nodded in agreement, Mataka saying "Well, I'm sure we organise an expedition. In return, my society would be delighted to hear more about the structure and it's origins. Unfortunately, we were able to find little information intact.

Chuk-Runuk still waited patiently, knowing better than to suddenly rush to her guests and force them to their ship. The Devastator continued floating to an unknown planet, most of the ship burning, some of the crew outside of the ship extinguishing the fires. Jon soon left the observation deck, Geriu staying, watching as some G.E.A ships came out of slip-space and followed behind them. The G.E.A soldiers at the evac site knew they were outnumbered and outgunned, the Saurochus keeping their spirits up as they finally turned the backup generator on, blue lights flickering to life in the small base. The platoon and war band looked around, most of the G.E.A soldiers in the base in the main room, watching the only door into the base, most of the Bori-Saurochus with the others monitoring what was going on around the base, however.

Mataka elaborated further "We didn't learn much from the ruins, I mean."
Straven interupted "You can discuss archeological details later, currently the most pressing matter is your presence here. What sized force will you need to conduct your investigation and how long will it take?"

Back on Mannan, Black six's laser activated, slicing through some wreckage, as it tried to push deeper into the ship. The compartment's radiation shield had completely failed and would need to be reactivated. Outside, the radiation leakage was so severe as to disrupt communications somewhat, effecting the incoming imperial probe.

"My current Task Force is more than sufficient, and with the Flood taken care of, the investigation shouldn't take up nearly as much time as we had thought," 'Taralumee replied simply. He thought about the word ruins for a moment. He doubted any Forerunner structure, even one that had suffered a Flood outbreak, would be in any real disrepair, which was exactly what he was hoping for. A broken down structure would be nearly useless to the Covenant...

Straven replied plainly "Your current task force will have to stay where it is. You hardley need a fleet for an archeological expedition. Ka'roll is at war at the moment, even allowing in one ship is risky, and said ship will have to be searched."
Now they were getting down to the real buisness of the matter, as far as Straven was concerned.

'Taralumee paused. His martial instincts told him it was a bad idea, but his diplomatic side convinced him it was worth the risk. By the time Ripa's plan was put into motion, the Koult race would be a memory anyway, along with the rest of the galaxy. Eventually, the Fleet Master nodded. "Very well. I will send one Corvette to Ka'Roll. That should be sufficient."
