"Mekku? You can talk?!" Placentra asked, genuinely shocked- but then simply said "Of course, Osiris cant speak, but the vain rock stuck in the statue can, how...ironic" The scorpian's triangular eye gazed upon the second fragment. "And, what might you call yourself, one who has slept for so long?"

The cog pulsed for a moment, the second voice announcing "Rekku, now answer me already you blob of scrap."

Horus countered the missiles with his own, his launchers firing simultaniously, dozens of High Explosive missiles screeching out to intercept, each collision taking out a group of missiles around it in a massive explosion as Horus fell from the sky, the sudden drop in altitude causing some of the missiles on the outer edges of the waves to overshoot, the Dragon spreading his wings as the danger passed and fired his beam at the Duvan'Rah once more, aiming for the numerous holes in it's armour, intending to at least blow the biomech over if he couldn't land a hit into one of the large gashes and damage the internal systems, a wave of 12 VHE missiles flying sideways out of his silos and arcing towards Xolotl, Horus intending to use the sheer explosive force to damage his target rather than achieving any direct hits, knowing full well the debris and missile launchers of his enemy would intercept them before they could hit the biomech...

Before Horus could pull off an accurate shot, Xololt fired his hyperlaser at him, the beam blasting into the dragons side and throwing its aim off, the plasma beam sweeping through the air above the mech's head. Numerous flashes lit up the dust cloud around him, his launchers firing another salvo to intercept the incoming missiles. Each one was shot down safely.

Keeping the dragon under pressure, he begun firing pulses in 3 shot bursts from his sonic blaster, tracking the dragon's flight...

Mekku interjected in an annoyed tone "We were busy trying to find a way off that heap of junk" Rekku finished for him "Yeah, then suddenly stuff is exploding and idiot king here is sleeping like a baby"

Horus roared furiously as he began to go into evasive maneuvers, pushing his jets into afterburners and increasing his speed as he began to perform a series of barrel rolls as he turned so he was almost directly heading towards Xolotl's back, knowing that Xolotl would likely have trouble maintaining his balance while rotating his torso to keep the Sonic Blaster trained on him, the Dragon's jaws flaring as his plasma beam tore across the ground ahead of him in a heavy streak, the thick yellow beam turning most of the landslide's path to molten rock and lava at such intense tempretures that the molten rock flowed down the mountainside like water, splashing after the Duvan'Rah as the beam tore past Xolotl, hitting the edge of one of the arms in the process, mostly by pure accident, his aim having been on the biomech's back, his recovery from the evasive maneuvers having made things more difficult, though the force of the beam would likely cause balancing issues for the Duvan'Rah...

"It doesnt look like you can leave Osiris, seeing as your nothing but..cogs..." Placentra said, clicking his pincers. "I assume you havent tried to build a form yet?"

OOC: Rock is ALOT denser than water.

Xolotl lowered the sonic blaster down infront of him after Horus left his firing arc, keeping it below his head, safe and secure. Trying to keep the pressure up, he begun launching missiles again, this time the aspect angle was in his favour, the missiles simply falling back before rocketing towards the dragon, minimising the chances of them being evaded or destroyed.

Mekku replied sarcastically "Oh yes, its right infront of you. Can't you see it? Oh whoops, I must have left the uber stealth online." Rekku added "First we gotta get off this junk heap. A frame is useless if it can't take us anywhere.

"And since you cant leave Osiris-not junk heap- you cant build a form at all, so if you would please shove you personal gripes behind you, would you happen to know how I can upgrade myself? I could only make so much bioarmor to sustain this form, which is shamefully inadequate..." Placentra grumbled irritabley...

Horus flipped in mid air and turned to face the missiles, his beam streaking across a few, the intense heat of the beam detonating a few others around it prematurely, the Dragon flying upwards as he began charging his beam...

Rekku asked spitefullly "Why would we do that?" Mekku added on sneeringly "Yeah, what do we get out of it? You haven't even explained what the big commotion's about."

The wave of missiles rattled into Horus, seeking out his jet's and head, covering the dragon in explosions. More followed, Xolotl hammering the cyborg with a constant barrage... The ground continued to level out, the cascade steadily losing its momentum...

a thunderous crackle tore through the sky as electricity arced out of the Dragon's nose horn, the bolts splitting several times, taking out numerous missiles as they came close, bolts arcing between missiles and practically jumping from one to another, the majority being taken out by the electrical bolts as Horus unleashed a charged beam at the Duvan'Rah, the width of the beam carving a large chunk out of the following barrage seperating it from it's target, the beam hurtling towards Xolotl...

"The thing your bound to has been incapaciated by a virus..do you follow?" Placentra snarled. "Two machines- both dwarf me- either want to destroy us all, or strip us of our fragments, which means if the machine, cyborg dragon and alien blob fail to fight them off, you vile artifacts will never get to live on your own as you so clearly desire..atleast if you help me theres a chance of freedom" Placentra concluded, his anger turning into realization he was powerless over the situation...

Both fragments were silent for a moment. Rekku eventually responded "What are we dealing with? Could you send us some data on these guys? Video, images?" Mekku added on "Yeah, let's think about this..."

The beam rammed into Xolotl's shoulder, the mech instantly feeling the damage. He tried to lean into the blast and absorb the force, but was thrown forward, falling to the side. He threw out his lead hand, breaking his fall with his forearm.

The huge machine slid forward, crashing down the mountain side, a new hole ripped open into his arm where the beam had struck, a thinning tear stretching up to his shoulder where the beam had sliced along before going off target, both due to Xolotl's fall and the missiles hitting Horus as he fired.
The friction slowed the Duvan'rah to a near halt, the bulk of the remaining land slide smashing into his side and rolling around him, threatening to knock him over. He jammed out one leg, embedding it in the ground, lying lengthways against the flow.

As the force weakened, he pushed himself off the ground, body covered in dust and rubble, and stood up, rocks tumbling off of his armour. He turned forward and broke into a lumbering walk. He was completely surrounded by dust, but his upper sensor bar was still tracking the Dragon...

Placentra's tail transformed into the satallite dish, fleshy transperant membrane forming the dish. He streamed the information about Setsus he gathered. "The monkey's the one I had a chance to see directly..the big one's signal is some distance away-" Placentra said, hearing thud somewear far off in the horizon...

an angered roar boomed through the skies as Horus proceeded to circle the Duvan'Rah at as fast a pace as he could allow safely, going in a semi-circle around the machine, streams of flame-like energy trailing behind the edge of his jaws as he circled, preparing himself for another attack, though slowly edging towards the city, hoping to lure the Duvan'Rah there, though wary of it's visible weapons systems...

Xolotl stopped and lowered himself to one knee, toes curling into the ground and stabilising himself further... His gauss rifle lowered down over his shoulder, its mount swivelling around. The weapon balanced itself, tracking the dragon smoothly, it's the three braces surrounding its muzzle glowing a firey blue. His loader arm carried a sleek shell from his storages, locking and loading it into the weapon... He held up his hand on the same side of the weapon, open with his palm facing out, wondering if the Dragon would get the message...

Rekku mused aloud "hmm, your gonna need more than guns to fight this guy, you'll need some armour or you'll never get a shot off in the first place. Or at least some trick for getting into firing range without being torn apart."

"Yes..but how?" Placentra replied to the fragment, already designing form to counter the monkey like machine.. the only obstacle would be him building it, he was already at maximum size as it is...

Horus changed direction during a closer moment of his circling once he saw the Gauss rifle out, recognising it as the weapon that disabled Osiris. the Dragon soared over the Duvan'Rah and flared his wings flat against the direction he was going, the wings acting like brakes and stopping him in mid air, the Dragon closing his wings and landing behind the Duvan'Rah with a ground shaking thump, the Dragon turning around to face the biomech, his axe-like tail arced over him like a scorpion's, the Dragon eying Xolotl warily, trying his best to keep out of the Gauss Rifle's firing path. the gesture it gave was a request to hault....as risky a move as it was, Horus had to consider it. he couldn't continue fighting the Duvan'Rah on his own...it was too resistent to his weapons...

Xolotl took from the sudden flanking move that the dragon had no intention of finishing this without bloodshed. Xolotl hastily drove on leg back and swiveled on his turret, the motion turning him around faster than usually possible but also throwing him off balance. Just as he came around 180 degrees, he threw out his arm, grabing hold of the ground to stabilise himself. The Gauss rifle automatically corrected its aiming and then fired, within an instant, the shell had crashed through the dragons chest and exploded as it exited its back, flinging the monster back and leaving a swirling cyan trail in its wake, the air shimmering with the heat.

It was a close shave, a few more seconds and the dragon could have fired that beam into the wound on his back and left his insides as nothing but molten metal...

After a pause, Mekku said, slightly reluctantly "We could help you control a more complex frame.. One capable of matching the monkey"
