Bane nodded, bolting after A-Mec at high speed, the beast's limbs easily allowing him to keep up with A-Mec towards the combat zone. he was uncomfortable about combatting it, but wasn't going to abandon his allies when he knew they'd need all the help they could get...

Horus looked at the situation, noting the arrival of more combatants. hoping he could use the situation to his advantage, he began to back away...

"I beg to dif-What is this?" Aeonus growled, still showing signs of anger, looking around at the new arrivals. "Their design is...different. I assume this is the second limb of humanity lashing out at fate...Perfect." the otherworldly creature mused, rising higher into the air and to the side, to avoid the incoming projectile...

Xolotl rolled to his feet, picking up his fallen arm with his remaining hand and breaking into a jog, trying to flee the area...

The Comet missile compensated for the monster's movement and rocketed towards it's head, the explosion obscuring vision of the creature behind a large fireball.

The Bantha burst into a sprint towards Aeonus, the machine moving at a surprising pace.

Rothgar locked onto the monster through his visor, holding the controls of his dual Shock Rifle's and drawing a bead on it's back, squeezing the triggers, the magnetically fired plasma, smashing into it and exploding almost instantly...

A-mec transmitted to Bane "This is meant as a skirmish, simply to test it's strength against us. Don't take any stupid risks."

"I've been in contact with it before....after what i've seen, stupid risks are the last thing on my mind...you just worry about whoever's backing us up...influence over the laws of physics isn't exactly something to be taken lightly" snarled Bane as he continued alongside A-Mec...

Horus, seeing the events getting serious, took his chance, as he had seen was the case with Xolotl, and retreated, the Dragon bolting as fast as possible, leaping into the air once he'd gained sufficient speed, snarling at the pain but ignoring it for his life's sake, broadening his wings and activating his jets, being among the intact electronic systems, the Dragon flying towards the city...

Explosions appeared around Aeonus, the being protected from the attacks by the invisible shield. "Fools..." it muttered, suddenly disappearing from sight, moving as a blur around the area, stopping behind the firing machine, still floating above the ground. Aeonus' crest began to glow brightly with cyan energy, a beam in the shape of the crest launched toward the machine at an incredible speed.

Proteus, thinking it best to follow Horus, reformed into his Keizer Komodo imitation and took off after the mechanical dragon...

Horus flew onwards, getting as far away from the combat zone as possible, soon descending when he neared the city, landing as he entered the safety of the buildings, making a beeline for a construction site to convert into material to repair his armour and electronics...

Proteus followed Horus closely, reverting to his natural form in mid-air and landing with a loud plop on a partially destroyed smokestack. "What... was that? How... did it know... about the... Duvan'Rah?"

Horus shook his head. "I don't know....but from the sound of it...this creature is far older than anything here...even me....and possibly even the Duvan'Rah" snarled the Dragon, out of breath and snarling from the pain of his organic wounds. the internal Life Support Systems had rapidly patched up the wounds and were in the process of administering healing accelerants, which would lessen the period of time he'd need to take before he was organically back at full strength. as he neared the construction site, he reached forward, his jaws glowing a dull orange, the metal he was about to consume glowing and beginning to melt, the Dragon taking several large bites of the material and consuming it, as a wave of gold seemed to run along the grooves of his chest armour, his cybernetic components proceeding to operate on the metal as it began morphing it and changing it on several levels to turn it into usable material...

Proteus' eye slid across the surface of his body, spinning around to face the site of the battle that had begun. "It... can't be... that bad... can it?"

"I don't know....but somehow, it managed to hit me with a boulder....without even touching it....as if it were telekinetic...and that opens up the door to several other psychic abilities, aside from what else it may have" snarled Horus, continuing to consume the metal scaffolding of the building...

several miles away, a pod of Blue Whales rose up from the depths, feeding of plankton up on the surface, the whales not noticing the rapidly approaching bump in the water. Without warning, the Parasite Queen struck, slashing at one Blue whale, the rest descending intop the depths for dear life. Satisfied with her kill, the insect clamped down onto the whale's tail, then swam off toward Hawaii, devouring it while heading there...

Rothgar spotted the creature through his rear sensor bar and immediately took evasive action. His weapons locked back into their holsters and he dived forward, attempting to burrow under the ground

The Bantha kept it's speed up, but veered off to the side, just in case the monster re directed the beam towards it...

A-mec sprinted forward, keeping a steady pace. He was still out of range, able to detect traces of the battle ahead but no actual contacts. He also wanted to time his arrival to try and cause as much disruption as possible...

A mysterious transmission suddenly rang out, searching for MKG... "Rise and shine metal face, it's me. What's your current location and status? I may have a job for you."

Aeonus kept the beam steady, hitting the tail end of the now-burrowing machine, aging the metal rapidly before it escaped underground. Stopping his assault, Aeonus followed the second of the machines, keeping its head between it and itself, rotating at an accelerated speed to keep up with the strange machine.

Daedulus replied nonchalantly "We're currently monitoring an interesting situation. We'd like a guiding hand in the matters, we're hoping you'd be able to extend our influence. You may need some support though, I'd recommend finding an ally. I'll give you access to our airbourne trackers showing the locations of the world's free roaming monsters. From what we've seen, you guys tend to be surprisingly social. One of them should be willing to lend a hand, or claw in a mutually beneficial arrangement"

Circling many kilometers above the battlfield, Slypher's CPM's began glowing brightly, energy being fed into them rapidly, the machine beginning to pool it into a stasis ball between both hands...

Meanwhile, A-mec and Bane finally crested a hill top, bringing the huge creature into view. The mech skidded to a stop, scanning it and matching it against what they already knew. He hissed out loud "Bane, move closer and try to stay out of sight, Slypher and Rothgar, hold your fire till my word. Bantha, distract it."

The Bantha suddenly jammed it's heel into the ground, skiding forward, simultaneously, reaching back with it's clawed hands, purple rune like lines glistening down their length, purple outlines beginning to form over the numerous chunks of debris lying around it. Then it threw it's hands forward, the rubble suddenly being launched towards Aeonus in a spray like carpet of rock....

Aeonus' eyes begin to glow brighter, the rocks suddenly easing to a halt, still hovering in the air. "Amateurs..." it scoffed, the rocks suddenly launching themselves backward, back to the machine, while Aeonus himself became a blur, circling around the machine continuously at an unnatural speed...

Connecting to the tracker, MKG began to focus on locations that were likely to have a large number of monsters inhabiting them. He noticed that Africa had a very large number of monsters that were being tracked, with South America being a second. Deciding to head to Africa, MKG took to the air and began to fly at mach 6, heading for the continent. As the cyborg flew, he replied to Deadulus:"I am now heading toward Africa to find a monster to convince to become an ally to me. Regarding this "interesting situation", do you know exactly what is causing it? Is it an aggressive monster, a group of hostile monsters or something else?"

The Bantha retook control over the rock's kinetic energy, managing to guide them to the side, into the bewildering creature's path....

Some distance away, Rothgar burst out of the ground, rising up into his ready position...

Daedulus responded "Er, we don't actually know yet. Hence why we need want an agent involved in the situation."

MKG replied:"Understood. When did you notice that something unusual was occuring to realize that this situation is of particular interest?" At the speed he was flying, it wouldn't take long for him to reach Africa...
