"I was wondering..." She looked at the ground. "Well, why does Tia Dalma seem to have a mad look on her face?" She finally glanced up, hoping that Captain Will would answer her question. Eric was glancing at her now and then, making sure that Captain Will wasn't trying to make any moves on her, but she payed no attention to him. Little did she know what Eric was planning at this moment.

He walked over to Captain Yuke and started to whisper in his ear. "Happy birthday, Yuke, but I was thinking. Can you perform a wedding ceremony?" He waited for Yuke's answer.

Yuke blinked, thought for a second, and nodded. "Sure mate, I can do that, why?"

"I wish to get married to Adeline before this night is done," was his answer as he glanced in Adeline's direction again.

[Screaming Eagle]

"Ah, just a chat between friends on an old subject...." He grinned at her, "And I think Fiance guy wants to steal the night away from Yuke, by marrying you." He whispered to her.. And started to walk away from her. "Ah, I'll tell you the old subject tomorrow late afternoon but way before dusk in my cabin, on the Night Raptor" He added as he slowly walked away keeping an eye on Eric, heavily annoyed with him now Stealing a Man's Birthday night for goodness sake! Among other things too! What an *******! He thought as he went over to Captain Barbossa who had helped himself to some cake.

Adelined looked in Eric's direction. "Marrying? Right now?" She gulped and tried to stay as calm as possible when he came over and made her bump into the wall as she backed out. Was this true? Was he really planning on doing this? "Eric, why did you come over here? You look like you were enjoying speaking with Yuke." She laughed nervously as he went closer to her.

"Oh, we were just going over some unimportant thing, my dear. Don't worry your little head over it. Everything is settled." He leaned closer. They were almost an inch apart. His breath was mingling with hers. She side stepped and he toppled over, accidently kissing the wall. Adeline couldn't help but let out a laugh and helped him up. "Honestly Eric, you shouldn't go kissing the wall like that. People will think ill of you."

He glared and opened his mouth to say something, but her big doe eyes were melting into his own. He noticed that she took his advice and put one of his flowers in her hair. His perfect wife..."Maybe we should begin the performance," he suggested. "You seem rested enough."

"Now? First we have to make a-" To late, Eric was already making an announcement.

"Dear Captain Adeline and I have a special birthday present for Captain Yuke," Eric announced. Adeline shyly came to Eric's side and nodded.

Captain Yuke wondered what it was? A special performance for him? This was all very much!

[Screaming Eagle]

Will turned around to see, Fiance guy, and Adeline. He cast, a What-did-I-tell-you look at Adeline. He knew he'd do it before everyone after the performance so Adeline had no way of backing out. Clever, but a coward. I'll get him in the end he thought, as he could see Barbossa turned as well looking at him. And Tia seeming still mad, a bit. He couldn't conceal his grin. Hmmm I could, could get her out of this, if she needs it He though..of a way to do so.

Tia had her hands folded, looking at what Eric and Adeline had planned for tonight. "A touch...of destiny," she murmured.

Adeline didn't even know what song they were doing! She both hoped and dreaded Eric singing the first verse of the song. If she falls under his spell, there would be no backing out for her. She was stuck. "Damn, oh well. Let's get this over with." She looked away from Eric while Eric was studying her. He began the first verse. As soon as the words escaped his mouth, she gasped. "T-That song. He sang it when.." She gulped. His voice was slowly starting to take it's hold on her again. Deep, rich, masculine voice. Her eyes closed at the sound, not paying attention to any of the people around her. It was only music and Eric once again.

Eric was studying her as he was singing. Yes, it was working again, like it did the other night. His power over her was growing strong. He reached his chorus and started to stalk up like a panther while she kept her eyes on him, watching him carefully. Once again he was the predator and she was the prey. Her mouth was slightly agape and her eyes were only focused on him. Everything else seemed to tune out.

Suddenly, he rushed up behind her and put his left hand around her neck, firmly but gently, then ran both hands down one arm. He hissed the word, "Us," like a snake. All of the crews eyes were focused on Adeline and Eric. Some had their mouths open in shock as Adeline reacted submissively to him when he sang his part of the song. He started to lead her, but then he stopped and allowed her to walk away from him. His turn was done and it was now Adeline's time to sing. "With feeling and passion, like an angel," he thought.

Adeline looked at the ground and shook her head. She couldn't do this. She was acting like a fool, following Eric like an obedient dog. "He'll always be there singing songs in my head," she thought with fear. He would be there with her 24/7. She glanced his way. He just gave a little nod for her to sing. She opened her mouth and sang with passion, feeling, and beauty. It was just like Eric taught her. Her eyes were looking up at the twinkle-filled sky. "I've decided...decided..." She turned to look at Eric and smiled. His mouth was agape at her voice. She started to walk toward him, taunting him like he did to her, singing the chorus. The song was nearing the end. She stopped and he started to walk toward her. She stood stock still in her place, looking up at him. He wasn't suppose to do that, was he? They were both singing the final ending. He grasped her hands and raised them up to his lips before they both finally sang the last verse together...the performance was finally done.

Adeline was breathing hard and looking down from his gaze. What had she just done? She went over the words in her mind. This song was not a song for Yuke but...she went back to the word, decided. "Decided, what did I decide," she thought and went back to what Captain Will said. "Marriage, oh my god, an agreement to marry him and to be with him, mind, soul, and body!"

Captain Yuke's mouth was open. Silence surrounded the crew and the ship.

Now everyone just looked at them, the only noise was the sails, and the splashing of the waves against the hulls of the ships. Casting another I-told-you-so look at Adeline. He was ready however, to get her out of this by creating a distraction of shorts.. He just waited for Adeline to show any sign or signal if she wanted to be helped out.

Adeline was silent, still in the same position with Eric holding her hands. She was embarressed and didn't know what to do next. What did she just do? Was this why Eric wanted her to wear this outfit? Was this all Eric's planning. She looked into the masked face of her soon-to-be husband. "Yes.." This performance, it was just a way for her to say that she was accepting the marriage. But was she ready for a marriage now?

Eric was growing uncomfortable with the silence. Perhaps now he should make an announcement about Adeline marrying him? He talked to Yuke about the signal being given. He turned to look at Yuke and nodded. It was after this performance he was going to marry Adeline and finally have her as a wife. There was no going back now. "Captain Yuke, you heard her. She clearly accepted the proposal. Now, it is time."

Adeline just stared into Eric's eyes, not saying anything. "Too late now."

[Screaming Eagle]

"'Fraid for that, he needs to be aboard his ship. He is not a Captain of the Red Dawn nor Acting Captain made by the Captain of this ship. Only a Pirate Lord can, ah override it." Said Captain Will finally breaking the stunned silence.

Eric glared at Captain Will. Was he trying to ruin this night for him? "But what if said Captain gave permission to the other Captain," he challenged. His anger was starting to get up. This was not a good thing for Eric.

Adeline bit her lip nervously. She didn't want to ruin Yuke's night, but she also didn't want to marry Eric now. She sighed. It would do no good if Eric got his temper up, and the only way to calm him down was to...she knew what she had to do. "It's ok, Captain Will. Let it go on." She tried to smile. She tried to tell herself that everything would be fine, or at least tried to hope.

[Screaming Eagle]

"Ah, She must be incapacitated, for this to happen. As per The Code. As you know we 'Borrowed' some of the Sailing regulations from The British Royal Navy. And I already said a Pirate Lord can do it, as Pirate Lords outrank the ship's Captain unless of course the Pirate King is on it, or the Lord is completely incapacitated and can no longer preform his duty. Though, you are stealing Captain Yuke's Birthday and Celebration from him. Sadly, I do not think there is a punishment for that, but I can check." Said Captain Will his temper rising, he was fingering his sword now.

Eric was ready to punch the guy in the face, but a certain someone was preventing him to do that, holding on to his arm, trying to keep him back. "Let me go," he hissed, but he saw a look of fear mixed with pure determination.

"Stop it, we don't need this to happen on Yuke's birthday." She tried to come up with another solution. She turned Eric so that he completely faced her. She held his hands in hers. "W-We'll have the wedding tommorow, on Yuke's ship, but please, don't do this. We don't need any arguments on Captain Yuke's birthday." She licked her dry lips nervously and started into his cold eyes. She almost shivered when he wrapped his arm around her, hugged her close to his side, and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Smart girl," he whispered to her curly locks. He continued this glaring contest with Captain Will and watched as he placed his hand on the hilt of his sword. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Captain Will," he growled.

Adeline groaned. "You both stop it," she huffed.

[The Kingpin]

a sword came between the two, stopping at eye level with Eric. "Ye'll both be standing down". he pointed at Eric. "Ye! shutup. this be Yuke's night, not yours, so keep quiet and let the man enjoy his birthday". he then pointed at Will "Ye, stop arguin. yer ruinin the mood. i was enjoying me apples and rum until the pair of yew started fightin!". he then walked back to a barrel nearby, and sat down, his sword sheathed and his mouth biting into another apple, with Jack the Monkey sitting on his shoulder eating an apple as well...

Adeline stomped away from Eric's grasp as Barbossa came in between them. She was glad she was out of the crowd and glad that the bloody argument finally seized. She walked up to Yuke and tried to put on a smile. "I'm sorry for all of this, Yuke. Happy birthday." She hugged him.

"Hey, we have all night to party," exclaimed, playfully crushing Adeline to him. She laughed at his happy mood.

"Boy Yuke, looks like you're having a lot of rum. At least you're pretty happy on your birthday."

"Hey, the performance was great, mate, just remember that." He winked at her and she giggled some more. She untangled herself from Yuke's hug to see Eric striding over. Rule number one, nobody touches what is Eric's. She grabbed Eric's hand and dragged him away from Yuke, before saying, "I'm going to get some cake, Yuke." She did exactly that, cutting her self a small piece of rum cake, while Eric just stood glaring at her and saying things under his breath. Perhaps it was about Barbossa, but she shrugged it off and sighed. "We'll get married tommorow if you want, I promise."

[Screaming Eagle]

Captain Will had disappeared, but did not leave the ship, after Barbossa's sudden breaking the fight. But Barbossa had reminded him of something else. "Oi Yuke! I almost forgot!" He said as he came out and handed Yuke a package, small. It was a present, a compass, handcrafted for a Pirate. Black, silver, skulls. And it had a tiny map, of important place inside, on the "roof" of it.

Yuke shook the package a little bit before finally unwrapping it. He wondered what it could be. He finally got the bloody thing open and picked up a compass, black and silver with skulls and there was a map on the roof of it. He looked up at Captain Will and smiled. "Thank you, mate."

Adeline walked away from Eric again, rubbing her shoulder nervously. She cautiously walked up to Captain Will, hoping that he had calmed down after the argument. "Eric needs to learn to calm down himself," she thought with bitterness and glanced his way. He had a mug full of rum in one hand and was chugging it down. He figured that rum would probably help him. She sighed and shook her head and stopped. She shyly tapped Captain Will on the shoulder. "Captain Will, I hope you don't mind, but may I speak to you in private?" What was she doing? She was acting like a shy little girl!

[Screaming Eagle]

"Your welcome, it'll take you where you need, too and then some," Said Captain Will smiled and walked of as Adeline came closer to him...

He looked to see Captain Adeline. "Oh, yes, yes. Lead the way." Said Captain Will calmly again startled and bit suprised to see her, and asking to talk to him. He had calmed down since the incident with Eric, and was curious as to what Captain Adeline wanted with him.

Adeline walked into a dark corner where Eric wouldn't be able to see her with Captain Will. She frowned and played with her skirt. "You said that a Pirate Lord outranks a Captain, right?" Well..." She took a deep breath. "Are you a pirate lord, Captain Will? And if so.." She hoped that he wouldn't walk away from her after she asked the second question. "Do you think you can perform the wedding tommorow?"

[Screaming Eagle]

"Well Acting, Acting, Pirate Lord of the Atlantic, but still it's the same as Gentleman Jicord has been captured by the East India Trading Company. And passed his Lordship on to me until he dies(In which I'd become Full Pirate Lord of the Atlantic) or returns. So yes. I am... And what?" He finished, his voice had suddenly dropped so low Adeline could barely he him. "Why would you want to marry him? He wears a mask, he's treated you with disrespect. All he wants is to use you. He doesn't love you, he doesn't give a damn. If he did, he wouldn't of treated you like a piece of parrot crap, and be a bit more honest. Then again, I suppose there are some rough patches, as usual but still...." He was thinking now as he trailed off, Looked at Eric then back to Adeline before she could say thing and with heavy sigh he had to admit it. "Very well, yes, yes of course."He said finally, he wanted her to be happy after all. "But if he so much mistreats you severely, I'll be the first to run him through and send him down to Davy Jones' Locker." He added, looking to Adeline.

"Thank you, Captain Will." She sighed wistfully. "I just want to calm him down. I don't want anymore fights to erupt and I have to do it, for my father's sake." She smiled faintly. "It will take place at twelve o' clock noon." She nodded to his words about Eric mistreating her. "I will try not to let that happen. I am also very good with a sword."

"Your welcome, and unless he mistreats you unfairly, I doubt it. And I'm sure you are, it's just that I'd like a run at him specially if I had good reason." He gave a faint smile, as if it were a half-joke. "Tomorrow at noon it is, works perfectly. And, now I think I will tell you the old subject. Tia Dalma is Calypso Greek Goddess of the Seas. Back before the First Brethren Court she caused total chaos, and then a man, a Sailor fell in love with her. They were together for quite sometime, he wanted immortality, and so Calypso charged him with the duty of ferrying, aboard his ship, the souls of the dead to their resting place for once every ten years, he could come ashore and be with who he loved. When he finally arrived at their place of meeting, she wasn't there. It cost him great pain and suffering but not enough to die. So he took out his heart, and put it in a chest, and locked it away from the rest of the world. He abandoned his duty of ferrying the souls, or should I say, abuses it. He has become cruel and a monster. And when Calypso found out she started the chaos again. Cursed him, as he cursed himself when he tore out his heart. And so he told the First Brethren Court how to imprison her, in her human bonds. And the Court did that gladly, with Nine Pieces of Eight, to make sure no one man could just suddenly release her and have her cause havoc again." He said finally it was in such a very low tone but he had spoken clear enough for her to hear every detail...
