The shots either miss or simply bounce off the YMIRs' shields, and the machines respond with a blistering hail of machine gun fire, now aware of Jessica's location...

"ok, Jessica," the merchant soon said as he finished the bundle of grenades, "I'm about to go out there. Cover me, and I'll bring those things to the bombs and add these to the cluster of explosives, than you'll shoot the barrels when I'm a safe distance away, alright?"

Jessica nods. "I've got their attention already. Go!"

Jessica fires again, trying to keep their fire focused on her......

The two YMIRs continue to fire on Jessica's position, threatening to shatter her cover under the rain of high-velocity bullets...

The merchant nods as he charges from cover towards the barrels, before throwing the bundle of unarmed bombs at them. Come here, come get me!" he shouted while waving his arms near the barrels, trying to get the mechs to come to him...

Jessics rolls from her position behind a stalagtite to behind a wall of crates, waiting for the mechs to do their thing, havign a clear shot at the barrels......

One of the mechs continued firing on Jessica's position, while the other turned and stomped towards the merchant, firing on him as it stomped slowly towards him...

The mercenary dove for cover as he was shot at, before drawing his pistol and shooting the other mech to get it to follow him aswell. "Come on, come get me!" the man shouted again as he shot more rounds from his weapon...

The second YMIR mech mostly ignored the small arms fire bouncing off its shield and continued to fire on Jessica's position, occasionally firing a rocket at her. However, the first mech pursued him doggedly despite its sluggish speed, altogether ignorant of the explosive barrels near it...

Jessica waits patiently, aiming slightly at the barrels, her figner ready to pull the trigger.....

With a single grenade left, the mercenary threw it at the second mech, the explosive sticking to it and detonating, but not exploding enough to cause the other explosives to detonate. "Come on, get ME!" the merchant shouted at both mechs, trying to lure them towards the explosives nearby...

Shields mostly depleted by the blast, the second YMIR finally turns towards the merchant, plodding towards him, sending a missile streaking his way. By that point, the first mech was uncomfortably close to its target, almost past his cover...

The crates were quickly being destroyed by the assault. Jessica has confidence however, and keeps aim at the barrels.....

"NOW! Do it, now!" The mercenary called as he quickly crawled from cover and ran like he never did before. He charged back to the group, before he dove back into cover and waited for Jessica to take the shot...

Jessica, seeing her chance, fires her rifle at the barrel,s the bulelt striknig them before exploding......

One of the YMIR mechs managed to fire a burst of machine gun fire into the fleeing merchant's back before the barrels exploded. The resulting explosion, combined with the grenades, was huge, filling much of the area of the tunnel the YMIR mechs were in. A good chunk of debris rained down from the ceiling, half covering the doorway back into the facility the mechs had come from. As the firestorm dissipated, one of the YMIRs had been completely vaporized having been at the epicenter of the explosion. The other, heavily damaged, was stunned, its armor smoldering and wavering with intense heat...

Morleon stumbled when the explosion went off, the vibrations extending through much of the facility. "What the hell if going on in there?!"

The merchant fell and began to die, but his comrades leapt from cover and begin blasting the other mech with a large amount of firepower. One rushed to the downed man's side and began pulling him into cover as the rest continued shooting the mech without stopping...

Bullets pinged off the mech's thick armor, but one eventually hit its small, cylindrical head, blowing it off. The mech collapsing, and a flashing light emanated from the stump where it head used to be. At the same time, a steady beep came from the disabled mech, swiftly getting faster and faster...

Dylan soon realized what was about to happen, before shouting, "TAKE COVER!" Many of the mercenaries dove into cover behind anything they could, one pulling Jessica down to cover beside him...

The YMIR suddenly exploded with incredible force, sending waves of concussive heat and pressure throughout the tunnel, rocking the earth violently and causing a moderate amount of rock to fall from the ceiling all around...
