Captain Yuke was having a good time drinking rum, while Captain Adeline's crew were doing the same. Again they started to get wild. Adeline was getting frustrated with the shout. It was starting to give her a headache! She went from her spot to the middle of the deck and was about to yell at her crew, when suddenly, she heard a gunshot.

It was Barbossa. He aimed his pistol in the air and shooted again to get their attention. "Alright ye lubbers, end of this here celebration. It's time to clean up now!" There were more groans, but this time, Barbossa pointed his gun at one of the crew members warningly. "I don't want to hear any whinin' now get ter work!"

She sighed and silently thank Barbossa for calming the crew. Eric was looking out at the sea, silent. His green eyes were cold and thinking. "No one else can have her now. Especially not..." James. He still remembered Adeline's wide-eyed expression when he mentioned the other pirate captian. That look and her change in subject told him everything. He would have to keep a very tight watch on her when they reached World's End and keep her very close to him. His gaze hardened and he growled the name under his breath. It was at this time, Adeline came over.

She frowned at her husband's cold stare and stiff body. He was tense..very tense and his jaw was clenched. "Eric? Is anything wrong?" She almost shivered again when he wrapped her arm around her and crushed her to his body, but calmed down and sighed. She gazed out at the water with him.

"No, everything is fine." He smiled down at his wife and kissed the top of her head. He rubbed her shoulder comfortingly. "It is beautiful, isn't it," he whispered in her ear. "The sea..."

She nodded. "Yes, it is," and said nothing more.

The sun was setting quickly, for such a beautiful one it was, while it lasted.
But it seemed, that the crew of the Night Raptor seemed to of become more alive in working on the ship they had before hand. But not too much of worry, Captain Will could of been taking drills as they were coming up on Dominica tomorrow. The were dropping a full canvas something they had not been at since the reason to keep all the ships close together and the need to ferry in between them. A Drill, surely...

The crew were about ready to go to sleep by the time night decided to settle over the caribbean. They slowly started to decend to the lower decks. Eric and Adeline were the only ones on board. He picked up Adeline and brought her to the Captain's Cabin, then finally set her down and closed the door.

Adeline watched Eric with a wide-eyed expression. She went to prepare herself for bed, but Eric stopped her. "No," he murmured.

"No, what," she asked almost innocently. "I just want to get some sleep," she thought bitterly. "Let's just go to sleep," she tried to say and smiled weakly. She was not going to do anything tonight or any other night.

Eric was starting to get angry. He opened and closed his mouth, trying to find an argument, but came up with none, so he grumbled, took off his shirt, and made his way to the bed.

Adeline blushed lightly and went to change behind a screen she placed in her cabin. "Oh god." She was very nervous, but also tired. She closed her eyes and tried to think of James. "James, my dear James. I am so sorry for this." She sighed, made her way to the bed, and snuggled under the covers. She didn't want to look at Eric's face, so she turned over. Her body was as stiff as a board as Eric closed his eyes and started to turn himself. He was also...snoring? Was that snoring she heard? She groaned and covered her ears. How was she going to get any sleep? She punched his shoulder. "Stop it. I want to try to sleep," she grumbled, still facing the wall. Her body froze again when she felt his arms wrap around her.

"Goodnight, Adeline," he whispered.

"Goodnight, Eric." She finally turned over to face him. He gave her a kiss on the brow and fell asleep, with Adeline slowly falling asleep, thinking about what James was doing right now.

"...And then he bit me for a rum coated mango" said James. in front of him were about 100 of the round white Crabs, sitting there and clicking their Claws, as if asking him to continue. "Then that great big squid dragged me down. if i ever get hold of fishface im going to eat his beard for breakfast!". the Crabs' clicking became louder. then...silence. only a faint breathing was heard. James had fallen asleep. the Crabs moved under him, and lifted him, taking to his bed in his quarters...

Captain Will stood on deck, the Night Raptor was breaking away from it's pace from the Red Dawn It was leaving the convoy, heading out now into the Caribbean cutting a corner, heading deep towards South America. At this rate he'd be in Brazilian water before the Red Dawn would be there by a matter of days. He could barely see the Red Dawn Still on it's current heading unaware of the Night Raptor's change in course, when suddenly. BOOM! A Cannon had shot off from the aft deck. "What on earth was that?" He asked, trying to keep it quiet. "Sorry Ca'pannnn too much rumm forrmm parttayy" Said a Gunner who had been dragged on deck by two crewmen. "Bull, ye've been sneakin' into the rum stores!" Snarled Captain Will, "Brig!" He added to it. As they escorted that baffoon of the gunner to the brig. "Now we cannot have any misfires! It will give away our position! Specially when we do NOT when our position known.." Said Will hotly. "Captain! Captain Adeline and Yuke are friends are they not?" Asked the First mate bewildered. "Aye, but we need to some things on our before rejoining our friends," He replied, though it was a majority true. The Night Raptor would now appear invisible to the Red Dawn because of it being black and it sails. Shortly after the cannon had fired..

"James," Adeline thought as she went closer to the pirate captain and rested her head on his chest. They finally got him back and the whole ordeal was finally over. It was just her and James on the Black Pearl, surveying everything that was going on. Peace...

There was a cannon shot outside. Adeline shot out of bed and scanned the room. It was still dark. It was all just a dream. She sighed, disappointed and glanced at Eric. She noticed that she scooted closer to him and was sleeping on his chest before she woke up. "What was that, though?" She carefully got out of bed and tiptoed toward her door. She suddenly froze when she heard a creak from the bed, then a groan.

"Ade...line." Eric slowly sat up and stretched, like a cat. He gazed in her direction. "What's the matter? Come back to bed."

"No." She opened the door and scurried outside. The moon was glowing and the stars were out. The Barbarian was sailing close ahead, but the Night Raptor was no where to be found. Eric groggily followed after her and wrapped his arms around her from behind. He kissed the hollow of her neck and gazed up at the night sky. "There was a cannon shot and the Night Raptor is...gone."

"Sh, we can either enjoy the night or get back to bed," he murmured.

Adeline sighed. "Is Captain James thinking about me right now, as I think about him? Does he even love me? What if he doesn't?" She smiled faintly. "Let's go back to bed."

The sun had risen, it was morning as the Night Raptor sailed through the South East Caribbean, towards St. Vincent, it would re-supply there. Before heading downward the Brazilian coast, it would reach it by midday.

"Cap'n. Why did we leave the other ships?" Asked the First Mate. "Ah, we needed to get ahead, we will rejoin them, or rather let them catch up around the Cape of South America, I do not intend to take on rough seas alone. Nor sail into Singapore without our friends" He replied calmly. It was truly the plan. "Aye, Aye Captain!" Replied the First Mate still looking worried...

This time, Eric was the first to wake up. He found Adeline sleeping soundly on his chest, again. His arm was curled around her in an embrace. He yawned and slipped into a sitting up position. He heard a small groan, then a yawn come out of Adeline. Then she finally woke up and stretched. "Good morning, my wife." He smiled at her and pulled her closer to him. He gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Adeline was dreaming about James again. It was another, enjoyable dream, one that she wished not to wake up to. It was Eric who woke her up when he started to shift. "Good morning, Eric." She stretched and let out another yawn, before finally getting up. She walked over to the dresser and went searching for a blouse and a pair of pants to wear for the day. She pulled out a creme blouse and brown pants and was about to change, but Eric interrupted.

"Those clothes do not suit you." He got out of bed and took the clothes out of her hands. "You should wear a dress, you look wonderful in those."

She wrinkled her nose in disgust. "I always wear those kind of clothes. I am not wearing-"

"You will wear a dress in my presence," he growled and held the clothes firmly in his hands.

"No I won't." She narrowed her eyes at him and went to reach for her clothes, but he just put them higher. He smirked at her struggles and yawned in boredem.

"My little girl, we can play this game all day." He sighed and shook his head. "But I don't feel like playing games." He grabbed her by the shoulders. "You will put on a dress," he hissed. He gave her the blouse, but not the pants.

She didn't feel like fighting with him anymore about the issue, so she grumbled and went searching for a skirt...and a corset. She decided to wear a black skirt and a black corset with it. It would fit her mood for the day, angry. She marched over to the changing screen and changed into her clothes. First went the blouse, then the skirt, then the corset. "Eric, can you lace this?" It was difficult for her to do it by herself, for it laced from the back. She pulled all of her hair to the front and patiently waited.

Eric came behind the changing screen and started to do the laces slowly, and nervously. His hands were shaking, and careful not to accidently touch her back. When he was finally done, he sighed.

"Thank you." She gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Now you get changed while I get the crew ready for the day." She walked out of the cabin, and left Eric alone, and sweating.

It was another nice day for sailing. Adeline called to the crew and ordered for them to be up and ready. The crew were scrambling around as usual, careful to obey their captain's every order. They noticed a change in Adeline. She was wearing a dress! Adeline noticed that the Night Raptor was still not there, and wondered what could be going on.

Captain Will had left a wedding gift for the two of them, and two more one for each of them. Eric would "love" his own gift, Adeline like her own and the gift that was given to both of them too.
He had gotten Eric, a bag of rubber ball and a somewhat fancy pen. The little note said 'Release your anger on the gorram ball not your newly wed wife, and write it down!' and for Adeline a Silver necklace with gold, with a Pirate Skull, fashioned after Calio Jack Jack's flag. and a matching though different, bracelet. And as for the gift he gave both of them it was a clock with a music box in it. That played a lovely tune. That is if anyone found it as he left it carefully in the Cargo hold.

The Night Raptor Finally saw St. Vincent and started to enter port..

Eric finally came out of the cabin, wearing a white shirt, brown pants, and a vest. His hair was slicked back as always, but this time, he wore no mask. He would never wear that mask again, well, as long as they stayed away from the french ports. He faintly wondered where it went and remembered that Adeline took it off. It must be on the ground, somewhere. "Have you seen my mask anywhere, Adeline?"

Adeline turned to Eric. "No, I don't think so. The crew was cleaning up yesterday, as well as Barbossa, Will, and Elizabeth. Probably they picked it up and put it somewhere?"

The crew looked up from their jobs and murmured to each other. No, they didn't pick up any mask. They shook their heads and continued with their work. Rainbow the parrot went to land on Adeline's shoulder. He gave her an orange and squaked for her to peel it and eat it. She smiled, peeled the orange, and started to consume the slices, one by one. Eric came to her side and tried to get himself a piece, but Rainbow hissed, and attempted to bite him. Adeline rolled her eyes and handed Eric some. She sighed. "This is Rainbow, James' bird. I'm going to have to watch him until we reach World's End. Be careful, he's not really keen on strangers."

"I can see that," Eric mumbled.

With a thud the Night Raptor Docked in St. Vincent, the gangplank was dropped, the ship tied, NOT anchored, he didn't want waste the time weighing it to set sail.. "Get supplies, nothin' more nor less. " Ordered Captain Will as he handed the usual away party to get the supplies with the ships' gold. Captain Will had worked their money situtation well. The Crew got paid, got gold if they lost a body part, Will got his share, and then there was the share for the ship, he decided that would be used to pay for supplies, and repairs, food. Etc.

He had also put Eric's mask along with the gifts, but in a chest in which the gifts sat above. But he had locked said Chest, mockingly cursed it and had the keys..."The Keys to the cage and the devil to pay!" He said under his breath.. Ever since the song had been sung he could not get rid of it from his head....

Adeline laughed and shook her head. "Just be careful around him." She rubbed the bird's belly and made a few kissing sounds to him before giving him the last piece of her orange. "Now, go off Rainbow and find something to do. It's time for me to spend time with my husband." Rainbow glared at Eric and hissed again before finally departing from Adeline's shoulder. Adeline giggled while Eric murmured something that sounded rude. "That's not nice. If you give Rainbow respect, he will give you respect."

"That bird doesn't deserve respect. He needs to learn disipline." He glared at the bird who was staring right back at him with his beady black eyes.

"Oh Eric, what am I going to do with you?" She made him stop glaring at the bird by dragging him away and going below decks. "We need to move all the stuff from your room into mine," she explained with a sigh. "You have no problem with that, do you?"

He shook his head. "As long as nobody messes anything else." He went ahead of Adeline to his room.

Hours passed and the crew hand returned to the ship, the Night Raptor was now refilled with supplies, weapons, etc. "Cast off those lines!" Said Captain Will, as they shoved off from the dock and the Night Raptor turnedaway heading back down towards Brazil...

Eric left the door open for Adeline and waited until she was fully in to carefully close the door. He prepared to grab her from behind, but Adeline ducked and walked ahead to his dresser. She pulled out his folded cotton shirts and handed them to Eric, as well as his pants, and various other items he would need. Instead of going up with the clothing, he put them down, finally picked up Adeline, and sat down on the bed with her on the lap. "Let's not bring my clothes up to your room. In fact, let's not even go upstairs." He smiled and kissed her lightly. "Let's stay down here."

"We're not going to do that. I have to command my," Adeline tried to say, but was interrupted.

"Barbossa can do that. We need to spend some time with each other. You said yourself you wanted to spend more time with your dear husband. Now, sing for me, my songbird." He waited for Adeline to obey, but she stayed silent and focused on the ground.

"I don't think now's the right time to practise on that. Who am I going to sing to?" She bit her lip when she saw the look on Eric's face.

"You are going to sing to me, my angel. Now, sing," he hissed.

Adeline shivered, but still did not open her mouth. "Speak to me kindly, then perhaps you will get your wish."

He pushed her off of him and stood menacingly over her. She crawled to the bed post. Her lipped quivered in fear. "Do it, now, Adeline." His fists were clenched.

Adeline shakily stood up and opened her mouth. She started to sing for him. "Anything for you, my husband," she thought sadly as she stared into those cold green eyes.

Outside Eric's room, Rainbow stood on a board which was used to keep the rigging in place, listening to everything Eric said, and watched every move that Eric made. little did Eric know what problems this act would give him not too far into the future...

the Ships were nearing the Cape of south America 3 weeks later, and a familiar ship could be seen slowly drifting towards them. Barbossa looked out at her with his spyglass. it was the Night Raptor. it had rejoined them. soon, they'd have past half of the journey...but first...they had to traverse the dangerous waters between Cape Horn and Isla de los Estados. during this time, Rainbow and Jack the Monkey amused themselves by harrassing Eric. he had found his mask in a chest, the keys lying on a table next to it. but no sooner had he seen it than Jack the Monkey took it and ran off with it. next time Eric saw it, it was covered in Monkey and Parrot droppings...not to mention soaked in the crew's last meal...

Eric and Adeline also found the wedding presents. Adeline appreciated what Captain Will gave to her and started to wear it every day on the ship. When Eric saw his, he grumbled and put it back in the bag. He didn't believe he needed the ball and that he could handle his anger. The pen, however he did keep. They both appreciated the music box and put it in the Captain's quarters, where they both slept, along with Eric's belongings.

When he found his mask, covered in bird and monkey ****, he let out a tantrum and attempted to take out his pistol to shoot both of them, if he ever came in contact with them again. Adeline, however, strongly defended Jack and Rainbow, and told him to place the mask under lock and key in their room. Eric grumbled, tried to clean his mask the best he could, placed it in the chest, then placed the chest in their room.

"Adeline, I swear I will shoot that blasted bird and monkey if it's the last thing I'll do," he yelled as he was talking to Adeline in the cabin.

"It's not their fault! You just have to learn how to respect them." It was then that Eric grabbed her wrist and turned her to face him. It was clear that he was angry.

"Respect them," he spat and let out a cackle. He tossed her hand away from him. "They're animals!"

Adeline shook her head and marched out of the cabin, slamming the door behind her. Eric quickly pursued her and grabbed her arm. "Do not run away from me," he hissed in her ear. "I am your husband and you-"

"AND I AM YOUR WIFE," she shouted. The crew stopped what they were doing to stare at the bickering couple. Eric just stared at her, then walked away, frustrated. He slammed the door to the cabin and sat on the bed with his hands on his forehead. Adeline took deep calming breaths and walked over to look out at the sea.

Yuke was worried about Adeline. He heard her yell at Eric. It was like that all morning. They wouldn't stop bickering about the bird or the monkey. "Who the hell cares about the bird and monkey," he grumbled and drunk some rum.

The Night Raptor At full sail, was heading towards them, it appeared to come from a circling pattern as it was coming up from them on the port side, as it was turning to port too. It was now in heading at full speed towards the Red Dawn. As it got closer, the masts, sails and the ship were covered in a few inches of snow. Making at last the final turn to port, it came within five yards of the Red Dawn and it was not to soon they heard a familiar call. "Ahoy!" Shouted Captain Will cheerfully, though his crew seemed cheerful look of annoyances across their faces were clearly visible. It was clear Captain Will had taken waiting, circling pattern for days, that weren't the best weather wise. That was a given from the snow they could see.

Adeline looked across and saw the Night Raptor, sailing toward them, the sails covered in snow. She smiled and shouted back happily, "Ahoy there, Captain Will! It's good to see you again!" At least his return would take her mind off of Eric. She was wearing another dress, due to Eric's orders to her. She's been wearing dresses ever since he yelled at her to do so. "It's unbecoming of a woman, as Eric says," she thought bitterly, but tried to keep on a smile for the returning Captain.

A yell came from the cabin. Out came Eric, armed with a pistol and out came Jack the monkey. He tried to shoot the primate, but it just won't die. "Damn," He shouted and tried to shoot Jack again, but to no avail.

"Stop shooting the damn monkey," Adeline shouted to Eric, suddenly turning on him, taking the gun, and throwing it to the ground. "The monkey cannot die! He's undead!"

"Keep that monkey out of the room," Eric yelled back. "He was the one who started it!" He glared at the retreating monkey.

"I don't care who started it," she roared back. The crew groaned. Here they go again with the bickering.

"You know, if ye want, we can get the separation papers in order, I can do that too. Not as warm welcomed I had hoped." He said Bitterly to the both of them. "And I can help ye, Eric to rid the monkey of that curse. Sadly it is Barbossa's. And has any of you seen my pet?" He asked, them. It had been flying along Brazil with them, and he knew it wouldn't go near the cold weather, but return when they reached the warmer.

"What pet," Adeline groaned and marched away from Eric while Eric when back to his room. She folded her hands and mumbled a few choice words for her husband before taking more calming breaths and turning to Will. "I am sorry, Captain Will. What kind of pet were you talking about? The only animals on here are Rainbow, Mr. Cotton's parrot, and Jack the Monkey."

Eric went back to the safety of his room. Again, he sat on the bed and listened to the music box. Sometimes Adeline could be real difficult, but he could handle her, or at least try to. He did it once before, and she cowered under him. He could do it again if he tried really hard. He had to learn to break her in...
