She stared at the bird that just flew over to the Night Raptor. She never knew any pirate who kept that kind of animal for a companion, but then again, every pirate is different. It looked like some kind of hawk or falcon. "Ah, I see. He looks beautiful."
Eric finally figured out how to break Adeline. He would use what he did every time to seduce her. His voice. That was the one thing that made Adeline calm and fall under some type of spell. He knew that it had a hold on her, and he liked it. "Time to make up, then," he murmured. He would also try to use seduction to get her. These two ideas should work, or at least try to. He could tell that she probably loved his kisses by the way her eyes slowly closed and her arms wrapped around him.
He came out of the cabin to see Adeline, standing near the edge and chatting to the Night Raptor's captain. "By the way, thank you for the wedding gifts, Captain Will. We really appreciate them." Some of it was true. The only thing Eric didn't appreciate was the ball. That still stayed in the bag, in the room.
"Yes," said a voice in monotone, agreeing with Adeline. She turned around to find a calm Eric.
Her face changed into a scowl. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to make up," and with that, he grabbed her and kissed her. At first she struggled, but then she slowly started to accept it. When they finally broke apart, Adeline stared at him, speechless, while Eric just smiled and wrapped his arms around her, looking at Captain Will. When he saw another bird on his ship, he groaned. He was starting to dislike birds because of Rainbow.
"What's his name," asked Adeline, a little dazed from what just happened.
