The US carrier landed...they began to unload the ground forces that where along with them.

John and David along with several other pilots arrived and watched, relieved. Their cormades finally made it too base along with the passengers.

John watched with a small grin across his face...now it could have been considered a sucessful mission despite the losses. The fact they saved innocenets despite the brutal mission would raise morale.

A DDASF commander called through to the carriers admiral over the radio "Admiral? This is DDASF command, we received your earlier message... Just 30 miles down from the naval base is a disused fort that was taken over and then resecured some time last year. It should be a good place to organise your troops and possibley set up base..."

Meanwhile jacob walked proudly towards Drexler, who was standing outside the main entrance to the base, smileing. As he went, Jacob waved at the american pilots, nodding to John in particular. He reached Drexler and shook his hand saying "The hells rangers Dragon hunters, reporting mission success"

The troops walked off the ship. They hoped the assasin had not follow them. Several would have nitmares when they slept, others may die from the wounds the assain gave them. But they were as far away from the assasin as they could get, and were relieved. Ronald walked toward the base.

"Hey your a commander right, well that base we already have ground forces already suppose to stay there. Well commander Ronald, you can head for London if you want, you choose...Im just followin my orders and you aint under my command. If anything, you basically have to report to General Flemming back in London if you plan on heading there" The captain responded towards Ronald, walking back several times before assuming thats all he had to say..

Ronald said, "Well, if we already have ground forces there, I guess I'll go to the other place."

"You choose commander, you choose!" The soldier yelled, just hearing the last comment.

(I choose)

Ronald and his men were ready for whatever was thrown at them. They did not know how much longer the human race would last, but they stayed put.

Name: Tobias “Shadow” Dering
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Height: 5’ 10
Weapons: He flies a heavily modified single-seat AH-1Z Super Cobra. Its stub wings are equipped with weapon racks large enough to hold 8 guided missiles. Two smaller missiles, machine guns, or specialized electronics pods can be attached on hardpoints at the wingtips. It also carries a 20mm cannon under its nose. It is extremely fast for a rotary-wing vehicle, though not as fast as most jets. It is also stealthy, able to get fairly close to a target without being detected. It’s covered in dark gray radar absorbing paint and its upgraded rotors and engines run much more quietly than other helicopters. For defense, the entire machine is heat and cold resistant and it has an autopilot system that will take control should something happen to the pilot.
Appearance: Usually wears a dark green G-suit. Has slightly messy looking brown hair, blue eyes and fair skin.
Personality: Fairly quiet, but willing to try almost anything to complete a mission. This tends to get him into sticky situations sometimes.

"Break right!" A loud voice yelled over the helicopter's radio. The pilot of the modified AH-1 reacted immediately, yanking the control stick to the side just a split second before a blast of flame jetted through the air where the chopper was only moments ago. He leveled out in time to see the creature itself, a dark gray Dragon, streak past in a steep dive, overshooting its target. Tobias reversed the turn and pushed the nose down, gaining speed as he quickly activated the targeting system and tried to get missile lock on the dragon. He glanced out the window to the left, seeing another gray Super Cobra a few hundred feet away diving down to meet the same target. He couldn't tell which one of his three friends it was, their aircraft all having a similar appearance, but just the fact that he had friends to fight beside helped him make it through these dark days. The dragon finally pulled out of the dive, so low that its wingtips were skimming the treetops on every downstroke of its powerful wings. The two Cobras did the same, the momentum from the descent helping them slowly gain on the creature. Tobias jabbed one last button, firing off a pair of heat-seeking missiles. The already wounded dragon managed to dodge one of the small missiles, but the second one hit home, exploding right beside the dragon's head. It let out an earsplitting roar, the shot having completely blinded it in one eye, and partially in the other. It floundered in the air, blood spilling from its face and clouding its good eye. Then with one last roar, it went into a diving spin, seconds later crashing headfirst into the ground and tumbling to a halt where it lay motionless. The two pilots cheered, just happy to have survived their fourth fight.

Darkscale lumbered out his cave, his jaws poening into a yawn. He had rested for the past 2 hours and now he wnated to do a patorl of his terriotry. He spread beat his huge wings until he rose into the air and he began to fly to the northern part of his home. Hie eyes had keen eye sight and it would be hard for a human to escape his vision if it were in the open.

"Very well commander, proceed on to your destination" The soldier replied via comlink. The Carrier began to move off again back towards the Atlantic in its attempt to control the Atlantic ocean so supplies and allied troops could be sent back and forth.

Riosoul was now flying over the pacific ocean. He had left california behind and all that was in front of him was a vast expanse of open water. The dragon wasn't sure if there might be human veichles here, but he wasn't going to let them ambush him if he could help it.

Smiling to himself, Tobias deactivated the weapons systems and powered down the scanning and targeting equipment. "Good work guys," he said into the mic on his helmet, glancing to the side to see that two more of the dark gray Cobras had joined them. "No other targets detected in the vicinity. Let's go home." Climbing to a safer altitude, he swung the helicopter around and headed back toward their makeshift base. It only took a few minutes to reach their 'base', a relatively small abandoned airport just a couple of miles away from the edge of a dark zone. It was a welcome sight after their nerve-wracking mission. The dragons they went up against weren't exactly easy targets. And they seemed to be getting harder every day. Tobias was the first to land, setting his Cobra gently down on the tarmac in front of a small building, the only standing structure at the airport. One by one, the other three followed, the last one touching down just as Tobias shut down the helicopter's two turbine engines, its oddly shaped, four-bladed rotor slowly coming to a stop.

a rumbling growl came from the Red Dragon, who had made his home in a mountain, his glowing yellow and blue eyes watching the events outside as he rested. vengeance would come in time...but for now, he needed rest...

Meanwhile back in South America, Strikus was tired of dealing with the human patrols searching for him. So he planned to hit the human base and end their attacks once and for all. At the base however the humans were out of troops to send, so they moved what they could and left. Much to the surprise of Strikus he found the base deserted. odd, he thought to himself, I wonder if perphaps they were called away to defend against something else. Oh well, at least I can live peacefully back in my territory, and he stalked off back the way he came.

John turned and looked at the man behind him. A officer...

"Hey LT Commander, got a mission from Flemming, look we may be allies with the British but we have to run our own missions. Your men are heading north with some bombers, casual mission, shell the area as typical and blow up anything that attacks the bombers. Your leaving in 2 hours" The officer replied.

John looked at David as they both looked at Jacob before they looked at the other American Pilots next to them.

"Come on, we got ourselves another mission!" John commanded as they nodded and all ran off towards the hanger.

Cloud stopped his motorcycle in a hilly region near the base that had been attacked by an unknown man. HE looked around with binoculars but he couldnt see anyone other then dead bodies. As he set the binoculars aside and leaned back in his seat he caught a glimpse of something in the distance. INstantly he flung forwards and revved up to motorcycle in an instant speeding toward what he saw...

Nathaneil felt uneasy, like something was coming for him. He hoped Ryko would return soon, with dragon reinforcements...

Ryko saw some caves in the distance. He felt the presence of dragons. He sent out the single, "Come out and come with me. The humans must pay."

"So we got a big battle up ahead...rather simple maybe. I'll be leading as the commanding officer of this battle...I'll be leading 15 Raptors, we'll be escorting a group of bombers and bomb the caves north of London. They are rather small dragons there, not much of a threat. bombers need to drop ordance, they leave we follow..simple enough"

John looked at the pilots who were going on the mission. "We'll lets go!" David commanded as the pilots scrambled out of the barracks, towards the hanger. John smirked at David, the captain who was next to him as they nodded towards each other and ran towards the hanger..

a massive fireball hit the water near an aircraft carrier in the Atlantic Ocean, a booming roar echoing through the sky as a massive Silver Wyvern flew by, turning around and circling around the carrier at a range of 2 miles away, eyes locked on it and the escorts....
