Name: Tobias “Shadow” Dering
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Height: 5’ 10
Weapons: He flies a heavily modified single-seat AH-1Z Super Cobra. Its stub wings are equipped with weapon racks large enough to hold 8 guided missiles. Two smaller missiles, machine guns, or specialized electronics pods can be attached on hardpoints at the wingtips. It also carries a 20mm cannon under its nose. It is extremely fast for a rotary-wing vehicle, though not as fast as most jets. It is also stealthy, able to get fairly close to a target without being detected. It’s covered in dark gray radar absorbing paint and its upgraded rotors and engines run much more quietly than other helicopters. For defense, the entire machine is heat and cold resistant and it has an autopilot system that will take control should something happen to the pilot.
Appearance: Usually wears a dark green G-suit. Has slightly messy looking brown hair, blue eyes and fair skin.
Personality: Fairly quiet, but willing to try almost anything to complete a mission. This tends to get him into sticky situations sometimes.
"Break right!" A loud voice yelled over the helicopter's radio. The pilot of the modified AH-1 reacted immediately, yanking the control stick to the side just a split second before a blast of flame jetted through the air where the chopper was only moments ago. He leveled out in time to see the creature itself, a dark gray Dragon, streak past in a steep dive, overshooting its target. Tobias reversed the turn and pushed the nose down, gaining speed as he quickly activated the targeting system and tried to get missile lock on the dragon. He glanced out the window to the left, seeing another gray Super Cobra a few hundred feet away diving down to meet the same target. He couldn't tell which one of his three friends it was, their aircraft all having a similar appearance, but just the fact that he had friends to fight beside helped him make it through these dark days. The dragon finally pulled out of the dive, so low that its wingtips were skimming the treetops on every downstroke of its powerful wings. The two Cobras did the same, the momentum from the descent helping them slowly gain on the creature. Tobias jabbed one last button, firing off a pair of heat-seeking missiles. The already wounded dragon managed to dodge one of the small missiles, but the second one hit home, exploding right beside the dragon's head. It let out an earsplitting roar, the shot having completely blinded it in one eye, and partially in the other. It floundered in the air, blood spilling from its face and clouding its good eye. Then with one last roar, it went into a diving spin, seconds later crashing headfirst into the ground and tumbling to a halt where it lay motionless. The two pilots cheered, just happy to have survived their fourth fight.
