Ah yeah, I remember seeing that. Showed the new name to KP.... I don't think he was amused by it.

Rewatching a guide for the final boss of Gears 3 on insane for old times sake. It certainly changed my opinion about the Retro Lancer, for that weapon is of great use for getting the boss off of the tower during the final phase of the fight.

Wannah know whats ridiculous? a teacher at my school let some 8th grade kids come to the higshschool to check out a big Tesla coil he made. One of them got zapped while being a moron, and reported the teacher, and he might get fired! Like what the heck!

Bad luck, petition against it. Write angry letters to the school board, that kind of thing. You'd be surprised about the power students can actually have.

I mean ****, it was a learning experience, the kid should be thankful. Maybe next time he won't **** with Nikola Tesla and the power of electricity.

Also, I have a new computer AND I HAVE SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES. THIS SCREEN IS HUUUUGE

IA: That's almost as stupid as a member of a band getting arrested because some kid was being an idiot and trying to get on the stage...

Who invented the radio? TESLA DID! He made all the individual devices that was bought up and used to make it, Tesla died in a hotel flat alone and forgotten... damn :(

@ Doc: Only using Imperial units because that's what the shops here use.

60 Cms...not bad. Mine's 58,4 [or 23 inches]. awesome clarity though. Big improvement over the dark, meh-ish Benq monitor I used to have. I can finally see pics online in the same shades everyone else does.

This one is a BenQ :P
It's an LED one though, plenty bright.

lol. Yeah, my BenQ was this old, dark, heavily used thing that must've been about a decade or so old. One of the first non 'giant-plastic-cube' monitors to be made. So it left a lot to be desired :P

Finished watching a playthrough of Mega Man 2. I find it amusing how Metal Man's own weapon destroys him faster than Quickman's quick boomerangs do.

I was using my Cathode Ray Tube Monitor right up until I got the new PC, and it still works :P
It just consumes excessive amounts of power and space. We bought a HP monitor when we first got my old PC, about 6 years ago. The mercury vapour lamp backlight in it went bust after a year and a half so I hooked up this old Trinitron CRT I found lying upstairs. I will say one thing for the CRT, it's damn reliable.

My main concern with it was the massive amount of space it took on my desk, coupled with it's fairly small screen size.

lawl. agreed. the BenQ is still functional. It's been given a new home in dad's workshop down in the basement. he has this old, relatively weak PC down there [low RAM relative to the rest of the house, not the fastest processor out there, so on and so forth] that he uses primarily for playing Solitaire and doing research for our travel plan. Attached to said PC? The old BenQ.

Funny though, monitor sizes seem to be like drugs. Once you start using a bigger one, going back to the smaller one you used to use seems impossible :P
