Oh hey! It's the site's jolly green giant [Or I presume so. Dylan proved to be a walking communication tower, and CS was a Guyanese Santa Claus sans the excess fat. Knowing my luck I'm actually the shortest person on the site after a certain girl with a penchant for cats

] ! Great timing! = D
Don't get me wrong though, the dogs were terrifying.
Also terrifying: That BLOODY LICKER IN THE RE2 INTERROGATION ROOM.
And my favourite scare of all in the classic RE games wasn't even a jump-scare, per se. It culminated in one, but the build up was good. Right after getting into the S.T.A.R.S. office and getting your stuff. Once you head back and prepare to head downstairs, you hear a smashed window. Suddenly the melancholy but sort-of-soothing music to this foreboding tune that basically says "Mate, you're about to get splattered all over a wall."
Go down the stairs and Nemesis smashes through a window with a god damned
rocket launcher. And because the tune heralded Nemesis suddenly appearing with little warning, it gave me chills for the rest of the game. More than once I used to rush myself during my time in Save Rooms because I expected he could break down the door and get to me. Eventually, at one point in the game, he actually
does.
