"Yes" said Serephir as they headed for the Phantom, the rest of the crew falling behind. "Seeing as situations regarding Vardia are complicating, i may be stepping out of the whole travel plan we had organised back on Vardia. looking at how things turned out recently, i can only imagine you and several others are glad to have the military intervention of it removed. back to the matter at hand, though. i feel that, in light of recent events, that you would be an ideal replacement as Captain on this ship. I'll be taking the VAMCEB crew with me. the rest will stay with you however. that is, if you would accept the offer"
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"

Zahr'kagar cackled with greed, and began to ascend back to his gravity throne, cocking his head back, to barely see Zhar. He grasped the arm-rest of the throne, grunting, where he then stared off into the main window of the command bridge. He remained silent for a moment, obviously lost in thought, but eventually, the sound of his chuckling disrupted the silence, "You know exactly what I want, you know exactly what I need..." he turned his body to face Zhar, where a brief moment of silence retook the room. "The flood," he commanded, "I want flood spores." He then plopped back into his throne, his chuckles tranforming into loud laughs, "I want them... by the hundred-thousands... every week." He then began to slide his fingers across his personal holo-pad, "No less," he continued, "And in return, I provide the Covenant with military aid."

Zhar grinned. "Excellent. How about a free sample, Supreme Commander?" He waved one of the armored Kig-Yar forward, who produced a transparent canister. Within was a greenish gas that floated around harmlessly. "How many spores would you guess were in there?" Zhar asked, quills splayed with satisfaction. He knew himself that the canister contained hundreds, if not thousands, of spores alone.

Kagar laughed, "I'm sorry if you had my terminology mixed up, but you do not understand what I mean," he grinned, and began to hiss his words out, "What I want, is what you know as, 'Infection Forms'."

The Kig-yar holding the canister nearly fumbled and dropped it, but his partner steadied him. Zhar, however, only displayed surprise through his head quills, which rattled audibly. "Infection Forms, eh? Then it's your lucky day. Just recently, a ship that had attacked a Flood-infested planet returned, and a member of the crew, having retreated from the surface, had been infected. We've since quarantined the ship, and keeping it for study. You have access to it, if you like."

Zahr'kagar leaned forward, "I want it's location, and I refuse to allow any Covenant access, I want to do what I wish, without your petty empire getting in the way."

"As you wish," replied Zhar calmly. "Not even the Jiralhanae want to get near it, so you've got a ship to yourself. If, that is, you don't get infected yourself."

The Supreme Commander folded his fingers together and licked his needle-like teeth, "I've survived an infestation once before... and can do it a may times again," his voice bgan to sound impatient, "Now, give me the ships coordinates."

Zhar nodded and chattered an order to one of the armored Kig-Yar, who pulled a small, glowing blue chip from a slot in his battle armor. He handed it to Zhar, who gave to Zahr'kagar. "The coordinates are there. Now, if you don't mind, I must take my leave for now. I've just finished part of an assassination mission, but I'm not done just yet..." he turned, preparing to leave the bridge.

Zahr'k leaned back into his throne, and watched as Zhar exited. He quickly nodded his head to a guard, indicating him to follow the Covenant Jackal.

The Supreme Commander began to stare at the small avatar of the ship, smirking with glee and greed, the small hologram began to luminate his face with bluish glow. He began to enter the coordinates of the ship into his holopad, and turned his thrown to face the windows of the bridge, where he stared out into the emptiness of space.

He sat there, staring in space, completely lost in thought, his mind racing. Finally... my creation... able to be reborn, recreated, he thought, This time, nothing will stop me, nothing will stop my creation... nothing! The bristles on the back of his neck began to twitch, a sign of his glee. He relooked at the small hologram of the ship, and smirked, once more.

Zhar walked back to his ship, Minor Transgression, with his guards, who looked relieved. As "Spiker" soldiers were active military units more than most other Kig-Yar, they were less of pirates, so Zhar could understand their nervousness, though he didn't give them any sympathy. They sure didn't make his job any easier. As the three Kig-Yar walked up the ramp, and the Firgate took off out of the Cruiser's hangar, Zhar watched through the viewport as the GPF fleet grew smaller as they got farther away. He hoped this was a good idea. He had enough troubles as it was...

Grievous led the group towards the Phantom in the hangar, where a group of Special Operations soldiers waited patiently. As soon as they spotted the incoming group, however, they immediately climbed aboard the ship, ready for take-off.

"The Covenant Frigate has left the hangar," began one of the crewman. Zahr'k grunted, "We shall waste no time! I have the coordinates set, we will head for the ship!" he commanded, and activated a COM channel, "This is Supreme Commander Zahr'kagar! We have a new mission, and destination!" he began to send he coordinates to all of the pirate-controlled ships, "I've just sent the coordinates! We will immediatly enter slipspace is exactly three minutes!" Finishing his demands, he closed the COM, and slided his fingers across his holo-pad, activating the ships engines.

As demanded, exactly three minutes after, the pirate fleet immediatly disappeared into a bright-white lumnination... they had all just entered slipspace.

The Battlecruiser, Rapid Conversion, floated dead in space near a small fleet of Covenant ships, which surrounded it. Minor Transgression had, moments ago, jumped to this location, as it was his ship's post. The fleet was near a Covenant-held planet, but still would require a Slipspace jump to get there, just to be safe and ensure the lack of possible infection. All ships in the fleet had been given a direct order to disable every system onboard should even a single spore get in the ship somehow, despite the quarantine efforts.

Dark eyes the color of the space around them opened, staring off ahead hungrily. It could sense the energy...it could feel the energy radiating off of the planet. There were many planets in the galaxy, but the sudden surge of energy had drawn the creature's attention...the massive behemoth moved through the empty space with ease, fixed on the target ahead. It could sense other presences there as well, near its target. But despite the beast's hunger, it did not care for other lifeforms, only for the energy of their home planets...

Thara immeidiately reacted in suprise. He came to attention, standing up straight and bringing his hand to the brow of his suit in a salute, saying "Yes Sir! Of course sir!"

Sure, he had planned on leaving, but the captain of a ship!. No less, a luxury ship like the endeavour... It was too good to be true.

Meanwhile, The Cypher was squating on an asteroid some distance from Corruscant, scanning the surrounding space, his four tenticlel ike limbs all clamped onto the rocky surface, head swiveling around.... The Myro was out here somewhere... he would find him.

Countless of ships were in orbit above Courscant, the capital city. The city lights themselves were visible. The planet itself was a gigantic planetary city. A massive powerful planetary shield was just one of the many defenses. In orbit were thousands of defense turbo lasers and space stations. Massive surface to space weapons were in the planet itself. The countless Imperial Ships in the defensive Armada was just a symbol of Imperial Might. There was perhaps nothing to fear..no invasion would suceed. The Imperial Homeworld was meant to be that way.

The gigantic Imperial Palace stood out as the largest building in the Empire. Not only were its defenses very deadly, the building itself was like a massive mountain that reached high in the sky. It is said the building is large enough for kids to play hide and seek inside for days upon days.

Back in the main communications center..a group of black cloaked figures remained..waiting for the message they were informed to recieve.

Beyond the outerrim of the Empire..Imperial military colonized planets remained guarded by Imperial control. The 501st Armada was reinforced and stronger then before. There was no planned course of action as of now..things were just being patient with the Empire.

On board the Annihilator The Dark Lord of the Sith continued to walk on and then entered his main quarters. The Sith lord looked around for a moment and then proceeded on..a long range message was to be sent.

Rehr and Rtas had just entered the breifing room, the Ranger gave off a deep sigh. There were about several other Sangheili in the room, Zealots, SpecOps, and even Majors were awaiting Rtas to join the meeting. Rehr immediatly walked over to the center of the room, and began to speak, the door closing and locking behind Rtas. "As I told you earlier," he began, "The Covenant are begining to seek external assistance... Pirates. Although this will make our jobs more difficult... it's not the combat we are worried about." He began to slide his fingers across of a small holo-pad on the center of the large table, opening a screen behind Rehr. On the screen was a profile of Zahr'kagar, "We have some insight on the 'bargain." Rehr turned his head back at the profile, "It is common knowledge for any member of the Special Warfare Division, of what this Kig-yar is capable... what he did... what he created." The Zealots and Major Elites began to feel uneasy, for just as Rehr had stated, only members of the Special Operations or Naval Security had knowledge of Zahr'kagar's "creature". Behind his helmet, Rehr began to smirk, "Do not worry, by the end of this meeting, you will all know what I am talking about."

Rtas narrowed his eyes at the hologram of Zahr'kagar. Considering he was a Special Operations Commander at the time of the incident, he knew precisely what the Kig-Yar had made. And he couldn't risk it being made again. "We'll deal with this matter right away, then." Activating his COM unit, he said to his Spec Ops squad in the hangar, "Troops, get our guests planetside, and let them deal with Trandosha. We have a bigger issue on our hands." There was a couple "Yessirs," and Rtas walked up to the rest of the Sangheili in the room. "We need to stop Zahr'kagar permanently this time. We can't let him get Covenant technology to help him with his experiments. That could be devastating to the entire galaxy." Bias, who was also in the room, piped up, "But what of the Flood? With more time, I might be able to..." Rtas cut him off. "Believe me, Oracle, you will get your wish, sooner than you think." Bias simply responded, "Why must you meddlers insist on such inaccurate verbiage?" Elch, who was also present, replied, "Bias, let him speak."

The massive creature could see ships ahead...In the way of his destination. The sudden surge of energy had long since gone, but it was enough to focus him on the goal. The planet was near the planet the ships were now over...The creature, however, didn't care. Unleashing a rumbling roar, the massive space creature moved forward, trying to pass right by the fleet of ships....

Rehr looked up at Bias, at Rtas, and then at the other Sangheili, "Listen to me when I say that this Kig-yar is not just any ordinary pirate... no, he's a scientific mad-man, playing god, and toying with the gene-pool known as life." Rehr slid his finger across the holo-pad, and the screen changed to a diagram of a Flood Infection Form. "All of you know what this is... you know what it is capable of doing," he then again slid his finger across the holo-pad, changing the screen to a diagram of a diagram of an Ameoba-like creature, "but what you don't know... is that this diagram you see behind me... is of the same creature."

Most of Sangheili began to mumble amongst themselves, but Rehr continued, "This is what the devious pirate named 'Flood 006' or 'F-006' for short."
