Hish raised his hands, looking back and forth between the two Sangheili.

"What is this like... A joke? What is Te? And..."

He growled at Yigar.

"Who the hell are you?"

an automated message came from the Drone to the space craft, as it began to scan it with it's infrared sensors. "This is Vardian Investigation Drone 52802-Alpha B. Requesting permission to board. Open Airlock and prepare for Systematic investigation of all chambers onboard the vessel. failure to cooperate will result in forced entry and or annihilation by Vardian Defense Satellite Lambda-2". the message was very clear, and very direct. and required no explanation. regardless of previous events aboard the vessel, standard procedure was to go on as normal. if anything were to happen to the drone during investigation, the Defense Satellite would take it as a sign that the ship was hostile, and destroy it immediately...

as the Rapid Reaction Transport craft came to a hault on the moon, Serephir's armour parted slightly as the body armour below raised the helmet, covering his head, closing at the front with a low clipping sound as the small hydraulic locks sealed it shut, two thin slits appearing over where Serephir's eyes were, the reflective yellow lenses hiding what lay beneath. he handed Chardossk and Jack a pair of variable sized space suits so as to protect them on the surface of the as of yet uncolonised moon. With the space suits being skin tight, it required changing. Serephir pointed towards the back of the craft, where a set of 4 small rooms stood for that reason. Jack headed for one room, having been taught by Blaze on the basics of space suits back when he got his own from the VAMCEB. it wasn't long before he was out again, clad in the wetsuit-like space suit/armour, having still not put on the helmet, waiting to do that last, as he didn't really like the enclosed breathing that almost all space outfits came with. "I take it you don't have your own gear, Chardossk?"

A relieved, breathless voice replied through the ship's COM, "Yeah, sure, just get us the hell out of here!" After a long moment, a hatch in the side of the ship opened with a hiss. It was one of the few things still working on the otherwise near-dead craft.

Chardossk patted his thigh. "I have my ACP Repeater and my body armor, but nothing else. Why do you ask?"

"Te," Rtas added quickly, "Is a planet with some suspicious Covenant and pirate activity. Y'gar, this is one of a trio of alien hunters that were previously hired by the Covenant to kill me. Naturally, they're on our side now."

"Who am I? Who am I?"

Hish took a step towards Y'gar, breathing a disgusting stenchy breath in his face. "I'm the ones the Covenant hired to kill you're stupid sorry ***. So I suggest you back the **** up before I snap you're neck like a ******* glowstick."

There was a flash of light, a hiss, and Rtas' Energy Sword was thrust between Y'gar and Hish. "Need I remind you," Rtas growled threateningly, "You are on my ship, under my command, both of you. Now, whatever your name is, go find your fellow hunters and come find me at the bridge when you do." He lowered his sword. and turned to Y'gar. "Y'gar, have you found a place to rest?"

Hish looked down at the energy sword. For a moment he was outraged, but quietly nodded and stepped down. He looked over his shoulder angrily at Y'gar, walking out of the Bridge. Before he left he flipped him the Yautja' version of the middle finger. He probably wouldn't know quite what it meant, but if Ygar' was smart he would understand the intent. He was suprised when Vak and Kan were standing outside.

Vak said "They keep looking at us funny... It's rather annoying."

Hish shrugged and motioned for them to come closer. They went back inside the bridge, standing at the door. Hish glared at Y'gar.

"Well, the moon doesn't have any air on it, so unless your body armour doubles as a Space suit, you're going to need one...unless you'd rather stay here?" said Serephir. not far behind them, three Vardian Stealth Cruisers were heading from their post in Burenai to provide backup for the General...

"Point." Chardossk headed into one of the back rooms, swiftly changing into the new suit. When he came out, he hissed, "I won't accidentally tear this with my claws, will I?"

Y'gar was not in the mood for this, so he began walking towards the door to exit the bridge.

Hish stepped in front of Y'gar.

"... I do believe he said he wanted me and my hunters. He said us. I do believe he was talking to you to.

"I don't think you could, no matter how hard you try. it's a specialised composite made to withstand immense amount of punishment without being damaged" said Serephir. he headed for the door to the craft, which had already sent an Investigation Drone to find where the cult was, soon having led the craft to a safe landing zone about half a kilometer from it. "We won't take long. don't let your guard down though. turn on the ship's defenses and keep armed yourself. we don't know what we're dealing with...yet" said Serephir as he looked back at the two pilots, two guards following him, Jack and Serephir out of the craft...

the small drone hovered through the craft from the hallway connected to the airlock, looking around for any clues on what had caused the prior panic...

Rtas sighed irritably. "First off, you three need to stop acting hostile, or I will throw you out the airlock, and that's a promise. Second, I guess I need to debrief you on Te." He hit a holographic switch on one of the consoles, and rows of data appeared. "Read that," he said. "It's the mission briefing."

Chardossk followed after Serephir and Jack as well, wondering just what they were doing there.

The hallway was dark, with one light flickering on and off. The entire corridor was covered in bullet holes and red and purple blood. There were no bodies, however. A red arrow on the green metal floor, mostly uncovered by the stains pointed further down the hallway. In bold white letters it read, "BRIDGE AND MESS HALL."

"I understand, Y'gar," replied Rtas. "But they were our enemies only a few units ago, after all. I suggest just staying away from them when you can. It'll reduce hostility and stress."

Vak laughed at Rtas' "Debriefing? Oh oh oh... You must have been mistaken! See... See, we're just stuck on this stupid ******* ship until you get you're Hangar fixed."

Kan pulled him to the side and whispered in his ear. The two immediately got in an argument. Hish looked at Ygar' once more and shook his head. He then turned to Rtas'. "I'll read it." He started towards the Hologram.

"Good boy," replied Rtas flatly. He looked towards Kan. "I'm guessing you're the one who keeps them in line?"

"Well the least you could do is pull you weight around here." Y'gar snarled.

"Investigate just what the Covenant and pirates are doing in an alliance," replied Rtas. "They're usually at each other's throats."
