"Did it ever occur to you it was deliberate?" asked Drake amusedly, as he looked slightly to the side at Nyx, a small smile on his face. he heard the wolf howl, but ignored it. he knew all too well what it was, but it wasn't something to worry about...
Fire blazed in the Brimstone HQ in New York as a figure stood over the director, Professor Binelli. "You fools never learn" said the figure irritably, his tone gravelly. he looked around at the corpses of half a dozen Brimstone Agents who had moved to protect the Director. two of Kagan's henchmen stood dumbfounded, both staring fearfully at their master. they had barely fired a shot since Kagan entered the building, having literally torn through the entire Brimstone Complex, massacring everyone inside single handedly. Binelli's face was still as stone, staring at Kagan coldly. his hand moved for a gun attached to the bottom of the desk, trying to hide his movements from the Vampire lord.
Suddenly, Binelli was knocked back, slamming hard against the wall behind him, the force causing Binelli to fall out of the chair, falling hard on his back. "And there i was thinking that the Director was in his position because he was intelligent" hissed Kagan as he circled around the desk, knocking it aside, the massive oak desk colliding with the wall with enough force to smash the plaster on the wall. he looked towards Binelli, holding up the very gun Binelli nearly used on him. "So this is what you wanted to kill me with?" he asked amusedly. a sudden movement saw Kagan turn the gun on one of his henchmen, the Vampire's eyes widening as the bullet tore into his chest, a deafening scream escaping him as he collapsed, turning to ash. Kagan looked at the gun with a scrutinising gaze, then looked at Binelli. "So i see you've upgraded your armoury, professor" he said. he placed the gun in the pocket of his leather trenchcoat, walking over to him. "Tell me....what has become of that mongrel son of mine?". his icy, steely silver eyes stared into Binelli's own, green ones, the fierce look of them boaring into Binelli's very soul. he suddenly screamed, as he felt his blood seem to bubble, his mind seeming to boil in it's own juices as he felt his skin getting pealed, his face contorted in pain as he screamed in pure agony. he fell to his knees in pain, the Vampire Lord having not even moved yet. Binelli began to beg, his mind working against his will, begging for Kagan to stop, the sheer agony too much to bare. Kagan reached down, grabbing the man by the neck with such strength it cut off his screaming instantly, cutting off his wind pipe. he lifted him to face him, saying "You haven't answered my question yet, professor". Binelli shook his head, claiming he didn't know, and that the last time he saw Drake was 10 years prior. being uninformed of Drake's visit recently, as it was being handled by only a certain branch of Brimstone instead of the entire place, meaning he was uninformed. "Aww....nothing to tell me?...nothing to say?....well, i suppose if you're so...uninformed, then you have no need for this" he said as he literally pulled the man's lower jaw from his skull, ripping it off and tossing it across the room, the lower jaw, tongue and several jaw muscles slamming against the wall and landing with a sickening plop, before bursting into flames. the man screamed in agony as Kagan tossed him aside calmly, walking over to the desk he had knocked away.
Kagan reached the massive oak desk and began searching it's drawers. pulling the first one, he found paperwork on a couple of local Demons, apparently Demon Lords from what the papers said. upon closer inspection, he guessed that both Demons were wrestling for control of the city. "Petty creatures...they fight amongst themselves like animals over territroy.....it's a miracle they didn't kill themselves off millenia ago" he said as he tossed the paperwork aside, going for another drawer. inside, he found a familiar looking brimstone pendant, and a picture of a girl dressed in leather. "Ahh...the leather clad ***** that attacked the Blood hording operation in Pennsylvania....i enjoyed ripping her limbs off one by one and burning her...your Brimstone agents never know when to quit stalking me and my operations....it appears i'll need to correct that" he said. after several more minutes and no information on Drake, he turned back to the professor, to find him struggling to his feet, a dagger in hand. "Oh....how amusing...you want to kill me?" asked Kagan mockingly. Binelli lunged, Kagan's expression turning to one of slight anger as he grabbed ahold of the attacker's arm, bending it into an unbelievable position, breaking it as he rammed the dagger into Binelli's gut, holding onto Binelli's hand and pushing it upwards, the dagger ripping through his stomach, and splitting his ribcage clean in half, as Kagan broke the elbow joint entirely, letting the man's arm flop to it's side uselessly, the dagger falling from it, covered in his own blood, Binelli screaming in agony. Kagan grabbed ahold of the man's intestines, ripping them out, dragging up the small intestines and wrapping them around Binelli's neck, turning it into a noose, strangling Binelli as he lifted him off his feet, hanging him on the chandelier hanging from the cieling in the middle of the room. "Now you have a chance to find out how your mentor, Professor Trumane, felt back in 1944. i suggest you take in every feeling, every form of pain you feel. savor it....it'll be the last you ever feel. good evening, professor". and with that, he walked out of the room as it was swiftly getting engulfed in fire, the flaming jaw bone having lit up unnaturally, lightning the numerous bookshelves lining the office as the flames spread wildly, Kagan leaving the building as it swiftly began to burn...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
