Dalvengyr once again stepped into the abandoned apartment building, the strange darkness and radiating evil having no effect on the demon. Suddenly, a chilling presence filled the area, causing the elder demon to kneel down in front of the darkness. "What is it that you've found, Dalvengyr?" a sinister voice hissed from the shadows, gleaming firey eyes appearing to mark its position. "The half-breeds...they left the city after our attacks. They will no longer bother us...and with the disappearance of the assassins, we only have one small group to deal with..." the elder demon said simply, voice sounding oddly human for a demon, which was natural for Dalvengyr. "Consisting of?" the voice demanded, eyes showing minimal interest. "Vampires...the same ones that attacked me...Possibly a higher being, something controlling them all...Possibly a demon, my master..." Dalvengyr growled, expecting the response to be angry, and it was. "Insolent vermin! They dare disrespect one who gave them their power?! They think, with their entry into this pathetic world, they can betray ME?!" the voice snarled, the back of the building suddenly erupting into flames. The fire outlined the gargantuan form...the spiked behemoth calmed himself, returning to the darkness soon after. "Continue your search, Dalvengyr...This act of defiance must not be tolerated..." the voice said finally, its dark servant nodding slowly, heading off to prepare...

"You go ahead" said Drake, before turning around, heading back into the room and looking at Nyx. "You'd think they'd let a guy sleep" he said as he walked towards the chair, where all his clothing was, apart from the trousers and Flexi-armour shirt he was wearing. he planned to have a shower, and dress himself in a different outfit. he'd stick to his typical trenchcoat and suit look, but change the colours...silver, grey and black was starting to bore him...

"Hmph," Nyx grunted turning over and burying herself in the pillow. She let out a muffled, "Are you sure you aren't tired still?"

Drake walked over and gave Nyx a soft kiss on the cheek. "Sorry...but once i'm up, i can't get back down". and with that, he walked towards the bathroom door...

Nyx groaned and buried herself deeper in the pillow before falling asleep again.

Diana rolled over again. "Who are you?" she asked. The redhead turned toward Diana and smiled. "You don't need to know me," she said grabbing a few leaves from the cave floor. "For now." Diana growled softly and stood up. "You shouldn't stand, you're still very weak," redhead said. "I'm fine!" Diana snapped and took a step before stumbling back on the makeshift bed. Redhead shook her head and put the leaves in her mouth. "Very weak," she said as she chewed the leaves...

As Dalvengyr left the apartment building, the presence once again returned, eyes appearing in the dark. "Thel'zan...how goes your progress?" the voice growled, annoyance very apparent in its voice. Suddenly, the darkness ahead of it sprouted golden eyes, the being basically smoke in the air. "Very well, my master...my kind aids our ranks well...the minds of these mortals are so easily convinced..." the shadowy creature said simply, despite having no apparent mouth. "Good...I have a special assignment for you, while your minions bolster our forces...a number of pests have fled from the city, vermin that could be a problem for us...I must know what they are planning." the voice growled, burning eyes staring at the shadowy creature. "I must have evidence of one of them, master...I would search this entire world, as would any mortal creature, without it..." Thel'zan commented, eyes showing some disappointment. A flame suddenly burned by the demon lord's position, illuminating its many spikes. The shadowy figure moved forward, as if suddenly appearing a few feet ahead every second, viewing the area the flames illuminated. Blood...blood stained the demon lord's spikes, ranging from two to three individuals, from what Thel'zan could sense. "It will be done, my master..." Thel'zan finally said, seemingly inhaling the blood stains off of the spikes, before disappearing completely...

Velkor rolled his eyes, then went back downstairs. "Mission accomplished!" said Wisp triumphantly. "Halfway," commented Velkor. "We only got one of them up." Wisp's eyes turned blue, and she looked at the ground sadly, "Aw, you're right..." Velkor sighed with exasperation, before hissing, "I'll get you a sandwich..." "PBJ, please!" replied Wisp swiftly, eyes changing to yellow, before she flew away, into the living room, probably to find another movie to watch.

Bullets penetrated the chopper's armor, the metal projectiles creating sparks as they collided with the hull of the helicopter. The chopper began to creep away, and Asylum frowned, "Hey! Quit moving us!" he yelled at the pilot, turning his head to face the cockpit. "If I don't he'll shoot us out of the sky!" the pilot pleaded. The demon rolled his eyes, and re-aimed the M16, but was hit by Draco's gunfire. Asylum smirked, and smothered his hands in his own blood, staring at it for a moment or so. The demon licked the side of his lip, and pulled his sleeve up, eyeing his hand-watch. The second's hand ticked, indicating a that it was yet another second closer to the ship's destruction. More bullets penetrated the chopper, as well as Asylum, yet he still sat, casually watching his watch as it timed down. 10 seconds were left, and Asylum's small smirk turned into a gritty grin. 5... 4... 3... his expression grew more and more anxious by the second... 2... 1... "And here we go..." he chanted as he raised his arms.

In an instant, what was a cold black sky, turned into a bright fiery red. A massive BOOM! Was heard, and fire blasted through the roof of the ship. Smoke drifting into the air; however, there seemed to be some confusion... it wasn't as massive as Asylum had depicted. "That's it?" asked one of the men, "That's your huge light show?" The demon was giggling the whole time, "You don't have a clue as to what happens next!" The crew upon the boat had stopped fighting, and watched the small cloud of smoke drift into the sky. Even from the chopper could be heard, "Was it a trick?" and "Was that it?" There was a moment of an uneasy peace... only Asylum's prankster giggles being heard. BOOM! When the helicopter pad, and a tidal wave of fire and debris torpedoed up into the black sky, a mushroom cloud emerging. Asylum blasted his psychotic laugh, "Ahahahahahahahaha!" and watched as torched bodies and dismembered limbs decorated the ship. "It was almost too easy!" laughed the demon, "You should've seen the looks on their faces! Was that it? Was it a trick? Ahahahaha!" The demon rubbed his left eye, "That... was... priceless!" The men in the helicopter simply sat in fear, although they survived this incident... they were trapped on a helicopter with a psychotic mad man. Asylum stood up and rubbed the tears from his eyes, "Oh, oh, okay... okay... I'm good. Now... time for more serious issues!" His laughter returned for a moment, "Alright! Now.. since you are the survivors, you all get to win a magnificent prize..." There was a silence, "You all now work for me!" The men began to mumble, "What are you talking about!? Work.. for you?!" Asylum smirked, "Of course!"
"I think I speak for everyone when I say that no one is working for a freak like you!"
Asylum's face became serious, and he walked up to the man, "You don't wanna work for a freak like me? Huh? A freak like me?" The man spit in his face, and Asylum simply whipped it off. The demon reached in his pocket, and pulled out his pocket knife. "You wanna know something about me?" he asked, "You wanna know how I got these scars?" he chuckled. "Okay, see now... my father was... a drinker. And a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. Turns to me and he says 'Why so serious?' Comes at me with the knife,'Why so serious?' He sticks the blade in my mouth." Asylum then forced the blade into the mouth of the man, and continued, "He says, 'Let’s put a smile on that face!' And..." The demon turned his head to the others in the cargo, who simply stared back, frozen in fright, "Why so serious?" He pulled the blade, cutting right through the mouth of the man, his blood spattering on the floor and wall. "Alright, so I think we all understand each other... you all work for me. We're going to New York." The men nodded, and Asylum chuckled as he entered the cockpit. "You know," the demon began to the pilot, "I'm still laughing about the explosion! Hehe."

Gunther walked up to Velkor, going into the Kitchen. "I'll make it Sir, you can relax if you'd like." Carter made a face. He wish he had someone to make him a Sandwich. Carter looked around the living room for a bit, observing everything. He flopped down on the couch, grabbed the remote and changed the channel, oblivious and uncaring to what anyone else was watching.

The Crow looked at the man with a cut in his face, watching as he held his bleeding mouth. He looked up at Asylum. "I don't see why you have to make up stories to scare people... Were are we going?"

A pair of eyes loomed over the two sleeping beings in front of the TV, golden orbs seemingly floating in thin air. Slowly a smoke like mist circled the eyes, stretching below them as well, but still didn't outline its form completely. As it heard someone approach the room, the smoke drifted toward one of the walls before disappearing within, eyes and all...

Draco barely remembered what just happened but he was quick to remember what just happened. Just as the ship exploded..he remembered having no choice but to jump into the sea. The Dhampir shook his head slightly..realizing he was underwater. The Dhampir had lost his magums..he had more but he still lives so thats what mattered at the moment..Dhampir held his breath..staying under the water..he needed to be sure he was considered dead by those in the choppers above..

Wisp had poked her head underneath the TV, into a cabinet just below, muttering, "No... not that... ugh, no..." Velkor hissed to Gunther, "Thanks. I'm guessing you already know what to do, so I'll leave it to you." He walked into the room, sitting down next to Carter. "I swear, I'm the only one in this house with a sense of humor..." Wisp replied, without looking up, "What about me?" "I mean a good sense of humor." "Ha ha..."

As the hybrid vampire moved into the bathroom, the golden orbs appeared over the sleeping vampress still on the bed, staring deep into her mind with only its gaze. Fears, ambitions, loved ones...all flooded into the shadowy figure's mind, probing the sleeping woman's mind. Before the search was completed, however...the dark entity forced nightmarish thoughts into the vampress's mind, turning her dream into a nightmare, playing on her fear of loved ones being lost, among other things. It was, after all, just a nightmare...but a very specific one. The smoke-like being remained over the sleeping woman for just a moment, forcing more horrible thoughts into her mind...

Pyro found himself underwater, and vaguely seemed to remember an explosion. It all came rushing back to him, the maniac, the ship, the explosives, all of it. Pyro suddenly also remembered that he had added his own smoke and fire to the explosion, though he made it last much longer than your average blow-up, and cast it much too high for it too be part of the demon's. It was, after all, a mere distraction. For a moment he panicked, being underwater, but realized it was an ocean, saltwater. He wildly looked around for his temporary companinon. With a pang, he realized Hank had still been on that ship. Perhaps he had abandoned ship as well. Finally succeeding in locating Draco, he zipped down to him and signaled to go deeper and farther away...

How is the prodigal son fairing? a voice spoke from the darkness of the lab. One of the scientists turned in surprise, Oh Lord Murtagh, i wasnt expecting you... Ares is doing well, he grows stronger by the day. Soon we may be able to release him from stasis. The scientist looked up at the large stasis tank, and the form floating in the green oxygen rich fluid, its cold empty eyes staring back. Good... but not who i meant. Murtagh stated. Oh... the mistress has not yet reported back she and the others are searching. The scientist replied nervously. Murtagh stood for a moment, before turning around and walking out. So he's still out of reach. What a shame.

Desh's eyes shot open. What a weird dream. The werewolf looked left and right, scanning the area as he rubbed his head. He noticed Korso sleeping in the corner. Hm... must of passed out from boredom. He stood from his seat on the bed of cinderblocks and began heading down the stairs and out of the warehouse. After a quick surveillance of the area he headed across the empty street before heading down the road.

Gunther came in with a Sandwich. He tossed it on the table, assuming Wisp was watching from somewhere. He sat on the other end of Carter, looking at the TV. Carter turned to Velkor. "I have a sense of Humor... For instance, I believe it'd be funny if all these Vampires died tonight. Oh boy, I'd be laughing... I'd be cracking up! Oh, ha ha... He he. Ho!" Gunther snickered on the other side of him.

about 10 minutes after Drake had entered the bathroom, he came out, dressed and ready in his same black Trenchcoat, a dark, pinstriped black suit, a red shirt and a silver and grey striped tie. he froze at the sight of the greyish black gas that was levitating over Nyx. it resembled smoke, but Drake knew that couldn't be right. he began to move forward, investigating...

Two golden orbs suddenly looked up at the hybrid, shining in the dim light. A low echoing laugh emitted from seemingly everywhere, its voice as if a group of people were talking at once, from various positions in the room. The black smoke flowed toward the door, its movement showing it had an indefinite shape, having no legs, the only real body part visible being its shadowy head....

Drake snarled. "Not ANOTHER Demon...Why do you INSIST on meddling in my business?" he hissed as he followed after the Demon. just as the Demon walked out, Spencer came out of one of the rooms to the side, stopping in the middle of the hallway and staring at the smokey being in front of him. "Ugh...I know you're a well known Hunter and all that crap Drake, but seriously, can't we be rid of these 'visitors' of yours for a minute?" he said, as he put a cigarette to his mouth and lit it, staring at the Demon with an almost careless look in his face, despite him actually being completely focused and wary. looking at the creature, he guessed it was a Nightmare. but...it was unlike any he'd coem across in the past...

The shadowy being walked straight through the second person to appear, the black smoke like gas completely blacking out his vision. "You...you are fodder...nothing more...they will sacrifice you first...for their own desires..." a voice echoed in the man's mind, not sounding alien in the least, but rather a loud conscious. Before the smoke began to fade, two golden orbs appeared in front of the man's own face, only a few scat inches from the man's face, before fading out of existence completely...
