Godzilla E-War

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

Horus stopped, staring at the spot the glow had been, deciding to attempt to get a closer look. he attempted to see where it went, his powerful night vision abilities showing him where it had been. the area where it had been seemed to pulsate and fluctuate strangely, hinting it was still there. he knew now that it definately wasn't something natural. he didn't think it was human. whatever was there was too large. and he couldn't think of a biological system that could cause an object to disappear that fast. it left the options down to a mech or other otherwise mechanical entity, possibly even a cyborg like himself. but the question remained: how did it produce a glow like that? he had only seen anything like that once, and the memory excited him.....could it possibly be...?

Placentra messaged to Osiris "And so, what began as a sight seeing trip turned into something that you cant see through at all...irony..it was never something I liked.." The tiny Duvan'Rah watched as his light based vission blurred up. His triangular eye glowed dimly before Placentra switched to electromagnetic view, the world drowned out in blue while the creature in the air lit up bright white. Placentra messaged "Just as I thought...it's mechanical-or- part mechanical" A blue circle panned over to where the light purple glowing was being eminated from, storing the images in his memory as pictures that were sent over to Osiris. "Jets, and here I was thinking it was magical in origin, I need to stop reading these stories written on the human's recreation forums that litter the internet.."

Osiris replied, chuckling at Placentra's message "Heh... And guess who else we've met recently who had jets?"

Osiris continued moving, seeing the dragon coming closer, probably in preparation for an attack... He took long strides, running at alternating angles, trying to make it harder to track him...

"Ah ha" Placentra messaged. "If it is infact a GDF unit, then I think we should..blind fold it so it cant call in it's friends.." From his back, what would be Placentra's tail petruded as a tentical with a satalite dish at the end. The tendrils on his feet linked up with Osiris' inner workings to boost his power;the appendage pointed at Horus, sending an electromagentic jamming signal at the cybernetic dragon

Horus got closer, having trouble tracking the creature from so high up. he noticed he was having trouble controlling his jets, and deactivated them entirely, beating his wings more powerfully to make up for the lack of flight assistance. a rumbling voice echoed eerily from the creature, turning out to be ancient Egyptian, meaning "Are you of the Duvan'Rah?"...

Osiris locked onto the creature, analysing its strange voice
He messaged Placentra "I think its saying for us to show ourselves. I don't think it can see us any more, its looking in the wrong direction" The beating of the dragons wing's scattered sand around, making the slight disturbance in the air around Osiris almost unnoticeable. He veered off towards the side, trying to move out of the dragon's path

Placentra shook his head. "The language the creature speaks in is a dead one, extinct millinia ago, I dont think this creature is with GDF.... never the less, I say drop the disguise. It's technologically crippled at the moment so I wont worry about it using it's weapons"

the Dragon, sensing he was being ignored or that he had possibly lost sight of the creature or machine that he had seen, beat his wings more powerfully, ascending higher so that he could see more clearly, as well as make it less obvious if he wasn't facing the right direction. he repeated himself. "Are you of the Duvan'Rah?" boomed the Dragon's voice in the ancient Egyptian language, the Dragon considering the possibility they didn't keep the language or that they never knew it, hoping they'd respond while he considered other more likely languages. if he wasn't answered, he'd try speaking in English...but there was more chance of being lied to if he used it...

Osiris replied "If this ends up in a fight and I survive, I'm going to catapult you into the moon"

Osiris slowed to a walk, now at the Dragons side, he turned to it and then deactivated his camouflage, his armour returning to its normal state... He simply stood where he was, ice blue eyes staring at the Dragon, arms hanging loosely at his sides... He messaged Placentra "You do the talking, and try to keep it sounding normal will you?"

"What in the world could you be talking about my gagantuan assosiate of mine?" Placentra responded, latching onto the side of Osiris' head and hauling himself up. He added "You just tell me what to say-Im at a loss for words because I cant understand it.." Getting to his feet on top of Osiris' head, he treked fowards, bracing on the ornate idol on his forehead

Osiris replied back snappily "How am I supposed to know? Your the one who wanted so desperately to talk to it."

"Fair enough" Placentra replied, looking to the dragon. He yelled to the dragon in an electronic monotone, the first time he verbally spoke, "Helloooo theeerrreee...do you know how to speak "Engliiiissssh?"

The Dragon, now seeing who he was speaking to and establishing contact, growled, this time in english "Speaking is merely one of many options i can take regarding Engliah, though plain speech is the only thing i can use, thanks to your jamming technology making my wireless connection useless. but, answer my question: Are you of the Duvan'Rah?"...

Osiris mentally cringed at what Placentra said. He messaged "Nevermind. Tell him that we're nobody... I picked up some information back at the Sphinx about us and Duvan'rah was one of the names associtated with our very being. Either this thing is a potential ally or an extremely dangerous opponent...."

"We are vessels for lost souls. Nothing more, nothing less; before you question us new commer, who, persay, are you and where do your loyalties lay?" Placentra replied.

Upon hearing the answer he needed, he nodded. "You may call me Horus. i was a Guardian to the Duvan'Rah Ark several millenia ago, when they first arrived here" he growled, deciding to take his time explaining, should the creature before him attempt to speak...

"The Ark you say?" Placentra replied to Horus. "What happened to this Ark and did it transport the creatures in which you speak?" He then messaged Osiris "If what it says is true...then are we from the Ark?"

Osiris replied to Placentra "We originated from the same thing I presume but this Ark business is new to me. I don't like this guy..."

"The Ark was a carrier of many entities, of souls, if you could call them that, like yourselves. I was asked by the victims among the entities it carried to prevent it's remains from ever reuniting. from what i have understood over the past millenia is that the majority of the entities within this vessel was bent on commiting atrocities that words cannot express, that a mortal MIND cannot express, things that would occur should these entities ever reunite. It destroyed itself almost immediately after i agreed to help, and i then began hiding the various fragments of it's remains across the globe, to ensure their protection from all who may seek to attain them. it was the duty given to me by the Duvan'Rah" growled Horus, the eerie memories, the sights, smells, sounds, emotions, feelings that he had been forced to express in that moment returning with frightening strength...

Placentra replied "Neither do I. We arose when those humans tried to experiment with us, no vessel could have brought us here, we'd be killed in that explosion, right?" He then spoke aloud to Horus "And why would you focus on the fragments of a craft that exploded? Surely those on the thing would be dead, if not during the explosion, some time later in the millenia that passed since then!"
