The scent was getting stronger now, the Licker now in the distance. The small zombie let out a beastly snarl as it began to walk faster now, not in a stumble but more of a limping speed walk...

The scent of the beastie was getting closer and now, the licker heard both the zombie's snarl and it's footsteps with it's keen hearing. It hissed angrily, annoyed that this creature was getting in the way of it's hunt...

The Fastie then dropped onto all four's as it began to dart towards the newcommer, leaping the rest of the distance soon after with a screeching bellow, latching onto the Licker's back and ravaging it with his claws..

The licker snarled and with some effort, managed to rear up and cause the fastie to fall off. With a hiss, the licker turned and slashed the fastie across it's chest with the claws on it's right front limb, even though the damage wasn't enough to make the fastie stop functioning. Leaping back, the licker readied itself to dodge again, leg muscles tense...

The Fastie let out an ear peircing scream as it got back to it's feet that left the Licker with a ringing in it's head and stunned after being exposed to it, it's keen hearing being a weakness in the situation. Jumping back onto the zombie, holding onto it with one arm and slashing away at it with it's other sporadically..

Stunned by the shriek from the fastie, the licker shook it's head from the noise for several seconds until the other zombie pounced on it. Hissing, the creature managed to crawl up to a nearby street lamp and rear up, slamming itself against the metal object. The blow was to cause the fastie's grip to slacken and the next time the licker reared up, it suddenly let it's front half drown in a bucking motion, causing the fastie to tumble off. The licker's mouth opened and it's tounge stabbed into the fastie's left arm before it jerked it's head and pulled the tounge loose and back to the safety of it's fanged jaws...

The Fastie let out a hiss when it hit the ground, getting to it's feet a few seconds after, hunched over. It then jumped back at the licker, on it's back once again, raking it's claws down it's flesh before jumping into the air again, landing on the top of the lamp post, balancing on the metal tube that the light was held over the street by..

The licker hissed angrily from the scratches, then looked up in the direction the fastie's scent was coming from and from the noise it had heard, now knew that the other zombie was out of immediete reach. Tensing it's leg muscles, the licker suddenly jump up into the air, it's strong muscles in all four limbs letting it jump higher than a human could, although not enough to reach the top of the lamp post. While it was in the air, the long tounged beast opened it's mouth once again and it's tounge emerged again, stabbing into the fastie's left arm before it was jerked loose as the licker began to fall back to the ground. Upon landing, the eyeless creature back up a bit before readying itself to attack again if the fastie still continued to fight...

Arriving at the fight,The Leaper crept into the shadows and around the battlefield. After a few seconds,it suddenly lunged towards The Licker, stabbing into it's back. The wound wasn't fatal, but it would hurt. The Leaper let out his snarl and prepared to strike again...

The licker snarled in rage from the blow the leaper delt to it. Turning around quickly, it lashed out with it's left front foot, the claws slashing across the leapers face, although they didn't hit the eyes. The long tounged creature then hissed in a warning tone before turning back to the fastie, although it would gladly kill the tailed zombie if it continued to interfiere with it's fight...

Kieran walked out of the alleyway and turned right, the street being clean of zombies. He kept moving, looking around to make sure nothing snuck up on him. He had memorised the route to where he was going next, aiming for a super market 3 blocks away. It was time to do some shopping...

as the survivor went on, Nemesis watched. it intended to follow for now, and see what the human did. where it went, why it went there. at the very least, it'd give him hints as to where Humans went and why they left safer places for more dangerous ones...

The Fastie lept back onto the Licker's face slashing at it's mouth before leaping off again, landing hard on a wrecked car near the base of the street lamp, turning to look at the Licker, where he let out another shriek before jumping onto the wall of a building, climbing the surface and then, when he got to it, ran across the roof, wanting to make the battle one on one again, and hoped the licker was territorial and tenacious enough to persue..

Kieran spotted a few zombies on the next street, the shopping market still a long way down the road, but at least it was a straight line now.... A few of their zombies lifted their heads and sniffed the air... Kieran wasn't taking chances. He broke into a run down the sidewalk. Rubble was strewn across it in parts, other obstacles blocking his path as well. He quickly past the closest zombies, who were out on the road, shuffling past cars, occasionally smashing their claws off them in frustration. One of them fruitlessly swiped through the air before falling against a car, releasing a howl of anger. There seemed to be a small lul after the howl, then footsteps. Shortly after, an electric shop's display window exploded just behind him on the right, several runners sprinting out of it, snarling angrily, seemingly furious. One of them slipped, clawing wrecked merchandise and claws off its body, unable to get a grip among the glass, having taken the brunt of the blow to break the window.

Kieran broke into a sprint, thundering down the road, the zombies hot on his heels. He vaulted over a wrecked car, tucking his legs up and sliding over the bonnet. Ahead of him, numerous shufflers (Kieran normally classified zombies after their movements) were trudging onto the street and trying to get in his way. Behind him, he heard the stamping of feet on metal as the runners simply leapt over the car. He kept his movements zig zagging, leaving the runners behind slowly, who constantly over compensated in their anger. 4 shufflers begun lounging at him from ahead, he quickly veered left onto the road, jumping onto the roof of a taxi and sprinting on around them. He didn't mind the shufflers, he could avoid them easily enough in the urban obstacle course, but the runners were a different story. They wouldn't stop until he could get somewhere they couldn't follow. He'd have to try kill them...

Meanwhile, Nemesis followed from the rooftops. he didn't want to let the human know he was following him...yet. but he also didn't intend on letting the other zombies get to the man before he did. he watched warily as he pursued, the human and his pursuers pulling away as the rooftops and jumps slowed his own chase down, a faint but audible thump coming with each landing, though the noise from the zombies most likely was loud enough to conceal it...

The licker hissed angrily from the slash to it's mouth and the fact that the leaper had not left. Turning once to face the newcomer it heard the sounds of the fastie moving away, it opened it's mouth and shot it's tounge out, which pierced the leaper at the base of it's left arm before jerking it loose once more. If the fastie came back, it would fight it again, but it considered the leaper a threat that would possibily continue to interfere with it's battle with the fastie...

The Leaper roared when he felt the tongue enter his arm.It wasn't that it hurt, but more that he was very angry. He slashed at the leaper's shoulder, accidentally tripping over himself with his slight lunge, smashing into The Licker...

The licker had jumped to the side when it heard the leaper roar to avoid a counter attacl and it now jumped onto the other zombie, slashing it's back once with both clawed front feet before leaping off, landing nimbly on it's feet...

The Fastie hissed when he heard the sounds of the battle and turned around. The Leaper was getting in the way of every thing, and he wasn't happy about it one bit..

The zombie charged back down the building and lept off onto the clumsy zombie below, momentum sending the two rolling across the ground before the Fastie slammed a foot into it, hurling it through a pane of grass that protected a store display...
