Sidewinder looked at Prime dead in the eyes and said in a proud voice "of coarse Prime, I will fight for the freedom and lives of all who live on this planet until my spark gives out!"

Roadrage had nodded at the leader's greeting, but remained silent, letting Optimus speak to Sidewinder, while thinking over what possible mission he might be assigned, hoping that it'd lead to some form of combat...he needed a good fight. things were getting too dull for him lately...

[TyrannoTitan]

"Then welcome to the fight, recruit. Though I hear you have already seen what we are up against..." Optimus replied thoughtfully, having heard the reports of the destruction elsewhere. "Unfortunely, you will be seeing much more combat soon...Roadrage, I want you to patrol around the outskirts of the city, make sure the Decepticons aren't still in the area. If we send too large of an attack force, they will simply flee." Prime said, looking toward Roadrage...

"Ill serve the force well, I promise you Optimus" Sidewinder said. "I was able to hold my own, but I wouldnt be here right now if it wasnt for Burnout"

"It'd be my pleasure" responded Roadrage, not seeing a need to stay around any longer, transforming back into his vehicle mode, revving the engine and steering, heading back towards the exit. with a bit of luck, he'd get a bit of action, though he didn't count on it...

[TyrannoTitan]

"Such teamwork is one of the things that separates us from the Decepticons. Expect to show that amount of compassion to every AutoBot who needs it." Optimus said, nodding to the new recruit. "Now...we are spread very thin already, so I am afraid you will be thrown into the thick of things right away, recruit. The humans have supplied us with reports of two sources of strange activity...cybertronian machines aggressively attacking innocent civilians, though they are of earth origin. This leads us to believe that there is still some residual energon energies on the planet...and we also believe that the Decepticons already control one of the two sites. You and Burnout must investigate the second, to determine the state of the area. You are not asked to fight...but resistance is to be expected." Prime explained, thinking carefully about the situation, even as he spoke...

"Where have the new rogues been spotted?" Sidewinder asked, wanting to get a rough search area..

[TyrannoTitan]

"At the deepest trench of the ocean...where Megatron was revived." Optimus explained with some uncertainty, immediately addressing his comrades' concerns. "A human warship will accompany you to the trench, to allow safe passage over the waters. You will be given a sort of jet packs to enable movement underwater as well." he continued with a nod...

"And when do we leave Optimus?" Sidewinder said. "Im ready anytime"

Throughout the conversation, Blitz chittered angrily at the Autobots, before pulling himself out of the hangar and around the corner. Despite his injuries, the little Decepticon was still able to climb up the hangar wall, still listening to the distracted Autobots' conversation and sending all the information to Arachno...

OOC: DM...the entire base is filled with radiation sensors, which all Transformers emit. They would find Blitz again, easily.

"You will leave as soon as possible. If you are to leave now, I will inform the humans and they will ready the ship. You must travel east of here, to the sea some distance away, where the ship is docked. I cannot say how secure your journey will be...we believed that the entire area was without Decepticon activity, but clearly that is no longer the case." Prime explained, frowning.

Blitz transformed, his lack of legs more of a help than a hindrance, making his plane form lighter and faster as he flew back to Arachno...

"Alright then, Burnout, you ready to go?" Sidewinder said, turning around to face where the two AutoBots originally entered, pannels shifting about as he made his way. He then dove foward, the mechanical melody sounding off as his transformation finished and he drove out of the hanger..

Burnout followed with a sigh, nodding to Prime, who returned the gesture, as he transformed back into the tattered police cruiser, driving off after Sidewinder...

Sidewinder cruised down the city streets, heading towards the Chesapake Bay. From there the two AutoBots would wait at the dock until they were picked up by the ship..

Meanwhile, Roadrage roared down the highway as he neared thre outskirts of the city, leaving the densely populated areas and entering more rural ground. he then proceeded to begin his patrol...

Blitz eventually arrived at Arachno's location, transforming in mid-air and latching onto one of Arachno's legs with one hand. "Dumb Autobots'll regret not killing me when they had the chance!" "Enough, Blitz. This will be easy to repair. Jetlag, have you gotten reinforcements? We may have a pretty big fight on our hands."

[TyrannoTitan]

"I've requested additional forces to aid us...they should arrive soon, but we should be fine for now." Jetlag snarled confidently, staring off into the distance...

Burnout continued to head toward the distant sea that separated the state, where the humans were waiting...

Blitz disappeared into Arachno's body, gathering stored parts to repair himself. Arachno hissed, "They had better hurry up. We need to get to that Energon first, and not even Optimus Prime will stop us getting to it!"

"The AutoBots won't get passed the guardians there...you do realize that energon sources are highly unpredictable. They have already produced their own cybertronians." Jetlag responded, jumping off the building without another word, transforming in mid-air, deciding to head toward the coast while they waited for reinforcements, heading in an alternate direction then the AutoBots, not wanting to be near the city...
