RPG Requests

RPGs of varying sizes and genres. Enjoy!

the problem with that idea Joey is that it's too similar to Fallout. we don't want a carbon copy of a game. usually those kinds of RPGs don't last long...we already have an apocalyptic RPG. hell, we TECHNICALLY have 2 [though society is still intact and operational in one of them]. we need a new theme. we have the Zombie Outbreak RPG, which is very similar to what you're suggesting, minus the smoke pits, cloud, Raiders and Smokers... in fact, it's probably even better because community no longer exists. it's every man for himself, and it's rare you find more than 3 people together...

as for S.T.A.L.K.E.R., the same issue applies. the difference is that in ZORPG, people need to put an effort into surviving, seeing as there's nobody left to help supply food or weapons. most things stronger than your average handgun are all but impossible to acquire, seeing as some of the trigger happy survivors at the beginning of the outbreak [pre-RPG era] would've been trying to literally shred the zombie population with immense firepower, running themselves out of ammo, and in most cases, getting killed in places that would be inaccessable to anyone after them...

It's actually alot different from fallout. I know it's the general idea of fallout but it is really nothing like it. First of all no laser weapons no robots no terminals. It's not set in the 50's. The mutants are incredibly different like they can't talk and don't run around with guns all the time. Sure there are raiders in fallout but they are nothing like the raiders in this game they don't run around half naked and they also have vehicles.

And I have another question why does that fact that there is no community in the Zombie Outbreak RPG make it bette?r I would rather find little communitys in the game then play a game where you just fight zombies and never even see more than 3 people together.

Dude, we already have two RPG's that deal with collapse of society, and I agree with KP, to much like fallout, with the mutated hoardes/zombies and such. We dont need anymore RPG's with that genre

Good for you yuke, really, game sounds cool, but it doesnt change the fact we need something NEW to the site. Two apocolyptic RPG's are already in existance and theres two RPG pitches that both involve nuclear sub genres. And, you seem to have forgotten that members could vote all they want for an RPG, if the staff doesnt see it fit to be made they will scrap the entire thing all together

what the bloody hell?

Joey: we've already told you why we don't want ANOTHER Apocalypse RPG. the reason i say that we don't want one with communities is because that way it'd be very easy to have that community into a crazy clusterfuck of god modded fighters and basically destroy any mutant, 'raider' or 'smoker' gang that turns up. whereas with the ZORPG, there's no LIMIT on how many can be together, but people willingly keep the number down for the sake of keeping with the survival side of it. I'm sorry you think our site sucks balls, but i think you'll have a hard time finding anything better anywhere else, especially where activity's conscerned. so yeah, if you don't like it, don't join. but good luck finding somewhere else with sufficient activity to cater to your RPing needs [i say need because only someone who was utterly addicted to RPGs would throw such a pathetic tantrum over people disagreeing with his RPG suggestion].

Yuke: the reason we say no to RPGs with recurring themes is because we already have them. new ones following the SAME thing will only die out. ISS is the first Dino RPG on the site. as a result you can see that few, if any other dino related RPGs are allowed to go through, because it'll only damage it, and the new RPG, as a result. i've played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. myself. brilliant game. really awesome. but i just feel that there's too little activity there to really make a living, active, long lasting RPG. it's just not the right Material. the concept is cool, yes. but with similar concepts already present in ZORPG, the only thing a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. RPG would achieve is killing itself, and damaging ZORPG. we preffer to consider new concept suggestions for current RPGs to making new ones specifically for those concepts. a new RPG is only warranted by a sharply differing theme. we try and keep similarities to a minimum...

lol
thank god he's gone. Seems like the type of freak who thinks he IS his characters. Let it be known that LARPers well be shot on sight.

Anyway, Yuke. Stalker rpg, I love the setting, but there just doesn't seem to be enough there. I like the idea of rpgs where there is now overriding goal but for something like that it doesn't seem like it would work. I can't think of anything I would want to do there.

Ya, the post apocalyptic crap is getting old. Its like KP said, something like a "Dinosaur RPG" would be the same as ISS. That applies to a STALKER RPG in comparison to SSRPG and ZORPG.

And ya, we are clearly losers, while the almighty newbie plays LARP with his buddy almost every day.

There's totally nothing questionable about that. Totally.

A turok based RPG would be a cool idea.

Its totally hilarious that you suggested that after that whole argument above.

Anyway, I'll take that request seriously for now. Turok rpg would be totally lame. And people, just because the staff doesn't like it doesn't mean we are vetoing it. We are just saying why WE don't like it. Its almost totally up to the members what goes through and what doesn't. (though we will veto steaming piles of sh**)

That's A) A stupid idea
B) Slightly racist
C) the shortest rpg ever *RPG starts* *NK is nuked to ***** *Rpg end*
D) Absolutely boring, it would be like SEW, just without spaceships, and freedom, the two things that make SEW fun
E) Isn't much of a world war, seeing as its against 1 small country.

I have one last RPG idea. An ancient greek RPG. It would take place in ancient greece and you would be able to play as a mythical creature or a person.

already been suggested. the Fantasy RPG covers that...so there's no point making a new one...
