Koda was stalking a group of deer from a small patch of trees. He slowly approched the deer lying low to the ground. He then sprinted at the group leaping upon the nearest deer while the others scattered. The deer tried in vain to shake Koda off but Koda claws where digging deeper into the herbivores flesh. The deer let out one more cry for help before collapsing to the ground, Koda then approched the carcass and began to feast.

Jak woke from the little nest he had built as the sun rose over the wide streches of the reserve. He lost his mother and father when he was little to a jaquar attack and the rest of his troop had ran away so he was left to fend for himself.
He walked along the branches of his tree, his territory after eating some berry like fruits he spotted a medium sized locust sitting on a branch about a foot from him. The locust would be a good sized meal for Jak but he had never went to attack an insect he had been to small but now
he should be big enough. Jak lept onto the branch and caught the insect in his left hand, He began to eat it before doing a little dance to celebrate his catch.

Koda finished his meal and headed back towards his den. It has been one month since he was exiled from his pack. His brother Binder had betrayed him and declared himself the alpha male. The two had fought a vicious fight but Binder managed to defeat him and then exiled Koda. Koda swore that one day he would return to his old territory, defeat his brother and reclaim his rightful place as the alpha of the pack.

Jak lost his footing during his little dance and fell to the ground, a good couple of feet. He rose a short bit after with a sore head he looked up and saw how far he fell, it was a wonder how he managed to get ssuch little injuries. He decided that e would be good for him to do a little exploring for water so of he set through the bushes on his great quest for water.

Razor and his pack were tired and almost starved to death. Most of the pups died of starvation. Just a few were remaining. His mate which was named Jane walked up to him and barked * What will we do?* Razor angirly growled *I will think of something soon*. Suddenly Razors smaller brother named Silver Tooth chirped out infront of them and hissed * I saw a moose at the river stream one kilometre from here* The pack quickly followed Silver Tooth to the destination. They saw the moose drinking from the river. They all ran out of the bushes and bit the moose on the neck. The others attacked the other body parts. In a few minutes the moose was dead. The pack finally had food for the day. As night fell the pack setled in and slept.

Koda was wandering through the woods looking for a new site to den in. He unknownly wandered into Razor's territory. He stopped at a small stream to drink.

As the morning sun rose Razor,Jane and Silver Tooth woke up first. Razor suddenly saw another wolf (Koda) drinking from the same river just a few metres away. He whispered to Jane *Hide the pups* He hissed at Silver Tooth *Guard the rest of the pack* Razor ran right infront of the wolf and barked *What are you doing here?*

Koda looked at the wolf infront of him and immediatley recognized him, it was Razor. Koda bowed infront of Razor as a sign of respect and then spoke. " I'm looking for a place to stay since I was exiled from my old pack. I was hoping to join your pack" he barked

*Fine* Razor hissed. But make sure you dont get in my way. The 2 of them walked towards Razors pack. Razor barked *Here is the new member of our pack* Razors pack consisted of 5 pairs, including him and jane,4 pups, and 7 teenagers.

Koda looked at the pack members cautiously, he never let his guard down. Koda saw that some of the pack's teenagers were sitting in a group, he started to approach them.

A massive figure moved through the waters...silent, unnoticeable and hungry. It crawled on the river floor as it approached its prey. They stood near the river, drinking...queching their thrist but they were unaware they now in a trap. Getting closer and closer...the figure kept its patience, it wouldnt be long till it would strike..

Razor went back to Jane and Silver tooth and barked*Dont worry he is a friend* Suddenly Razor saw something green moving trought the river. He quickly jumped in and attacked it. It was just a normal fish. But he heard splashing. It was something far bigger.

The creature slowly moved towards them, staying completely submerged in the water. It seemed dead by the way due to little movement. It moved closer and closer, keeping its patience..

Razor hissed *We better move away from this river* He gathered the rest of the pack. A young teenager wolf from Razors pack seemed to have an interest in Koda. Her name was Debra, she was Silver Tooths daughter, Silver Tooth was the brother of Razor. And all from the pack except Koda knew that it was hard to gain his trust.

Koda followed the others from the river we he noticed that Silver Tooths daughter Debra was staring at him. When she realized that he was looking back she turned away in embarrassment. He laughed to himself, she reminded him of Jenna his previous mate, who was killed when his brother took over. Koda felt an extreme feeling of sadness when he remebered Jenna but was able to keep it to himself.

Razor gathered his pack and growled *Let us search for new territory this is not a safe area to be in* Everyone went after the 3 leaders. Suddenly the pack found themselves in the dence jungle. The pack quickly saw a cave that they could hide in. It was warm and free of threats.. for now. The pups were getting hungry so Razor,Silver Tooth and the rest of the pack went hunting for something big. Silver Tooth hissed at Koda * Stay here with Jane and Debra and guard the pups* The pack just had crossed a few killometres when they saw a huge grizzly. They were wondering what it could be doing in the jungle. They quickly charged at it and began bitting and clawing it. The grizzly hit Silver Tooth with his huge paw and he fell to the ground. Razor quickly went to his brothers aid but Silver Tooth growled *Im ok continue the fight!* Finally the pack killed the bear. Now they would have to drag it to the cave.

Debra replied *Yes i noticed that too* Jane watched the pups. Suddenly the pack came in the cave dragging the huge grizzly they had killed. Silver Tooth looked at Koda for a second and saw him sitting next to Debra. Silver Tooth charged and rammed Koda with his head. Silver Tooth yelled *Boy if u want to earn my respect you will have to beat me!* Suddenly Razor came in the scene bumped his brother and bit onto his leg almost ripping it off. Razor then helped his brother stand up. He hissed *Enough you have too many wounds for today* Razor barked to Koda *Im sorry hes always like that, hey we killed a grizzly come to dinner when you want* The rest of the pack gathered around the grizzly and started eating.

the Lion stalked his target from the shelter of the grass, weaving his way around the other herd members until his target was in plain sight. it's injuries would make his attack all the easier....child's play. bolting forward, he jumped at the back of the herbivore, catching it and the rest of the herd off guard, the sudden weight of the impact of his body against the herbivore too much for it to take, the wildebeest falling to the floor with a crunch, the combined weight of it's and Nightbane's bodies breaking it's leg, Nightbane dragging himself to it's neck and clamping down, the herbivore thrashing violently as the rest of the herd scattered, fearful of other predators in the area, seeing as it was the territory of at least 4 more lionesses. little did they know their attacker was also an intruder...not that it mattered. as the herbivore drew it's final laboured breaths, Nightbane thrashed violently, ripping it's throat out...

a couple of watchful eyes surfaced in the lake, eying the crocodile on the bank. it was roughly his size. prey was abundant in the area. he considered the options. prey was fairly abundant in the area. he could either take this one's kill and risk a possible confrontation and perhaps a few minor injuries, or he could hunt down and kill his own. he was confident that there was very little any prey item could do to him at his size. anything short of a hippo would be dead before it could get a decent counter-attack off...
