"They never mentioned that," replied Grievous. "As far as I know, they're affiliated with you, but I guess not."

"We were never given warnings. Its was due to an attack by Marcian forces that caused us to do so. In our attempt to recover from such an attack. If you had only contacted us and not fired this would not be an issue. Lack of communication caused this, you cant blame us for that" Piett argued in return..

The Tortoise responded simply "You have been manipulated. An investigation into the origin of this drone team will be launched immediately. For the time being, I would advise putting more concern into your personal safety and who you trust if you wish to avoid a repeat of your kidnapping and that of your niece.
Any further questions in regards to Swarm-4's current operations?

"Yes, one more," replied Grievous. After a pause, he asked, "Just who the hell are you?"

"Installations were set upon a neighboring planet, with invasionary fleets above. Our predecessors obviously thought this was indeed an invasion; if Imperials were aware of where they were and those who controlled the area, the disaster could've been averted." another response sounded, as the source itself made a note of the new information...they would have to investigate Marican influence on the attack...

The Tortoise responded "I am TR-91, acting commander of Swarm-4. Does that answer your question?"

"A bit broader, please," replied Grievous. "Are you Marican, or do you belong to that Cypher character? Or, are you something else entirely?"

"But you never told us. Were caught up preparing for an attack back at us. As soon as the Marcians left, we did began to set up a base. But if im correct, an engagement between the TGDA and Shadow Haven occurred on the surface which of course promoted us for counter attack. We were blind in unknown territory...we detected something, that was Shadow Haven. Our investigation became an engagement as soon as the shots were fired" Piett replied back. He remained calm as emotions rolled high...silence filled the Imperial Command Bridge...

The Tortoise replied "Swarm-4 is part of a larger network of A.I drones, separatists from the Maricans. Ultimate authority lands with Cere'kan. I can hail him if you wish."

"Please do," replied Grievous, a bit more excited now. Maybe he'd finally straighten out all this mess...

"If a Shadow Haven installation appeared in the system of Courscant, complete with invasionary fleet, would you attempt to contact? Your answer, of course, will be yes; you are trying to persuade us to release your leader. In reality, you would not allow such a force to be so near to the head of your faction. Regardless of what reason you attempt to fabricate, the Imperials remain the source of all the commotion. According to reports after the first investigation, the squad was destroyed without causing much damage to the installation there. The Imperials made no move to contact that force and prevent another misunderstanding; instead, they invaded the planet you now seek." The source responded quickly, pulling information recorded at the time so long ago...

Without another word, a much deeper, un-natural voice replaced the Tortoise's "This is Cere'kan. I am currently over seeing the destruction of a Koultian Light Cruiser. This conversation would better be worth the minute distraction it has caused."

"I am here to talk about just what you want with Trandosha, and possibly an alliance," said Grievous casually. The more allies, the better, especially powerful ones.

"It was due to the commanding officers of Revan and General Grievous finding that it was necessary to counter attack. Once the shots were fired, it was too late for that. They deemed a counter offenisve and eliminating the threat would be the proper solution. Regardless, Shadow Haven won and you never saw the Imperials again. It should have ended as that" Piett replied. He was aware of the past event...the battle was failure and it was unbelievable to think that due to just one event...the Emperor himself was now in enemy hands.

Cere'kan responded disdainfully "I care little for alliances and I do not manage faction wide diplomacy, each Swarm is a responsible for its own relations and operations. Talk to Swarm-4's commander if you wish to negotiate the future of your planet. Is there anything else you wanted to say or are you merely wasting my time?"

Grievous sighed, irritated. "Fine, fine." Without letting Cere'kan respond, he cut communications, focusing back on the Tortoise. "Let's talk about an alliance, shall we?"

"We were merely one of many victims of war caused by the Empire. Are you so foolish to believe the Empire's vast systems were created simply by peace? Our desire to acquire Revan specifically may be fueled by personal feelings, but our cause benefits the entire galaxy." the source responded yet again...

The Tortoise tried to guess what Grievous had said to the Mind, but the data was blocked off from it, the link having been completely secure. It replied to Grievous, deciding the conversation between him and Cere'kan to be irrelevant to the question at hand "As you wish. What do you wish to propose?"

"A mutual alliance," replied Grievous. "You defend me if I require it, I... do whatever you require, I guess. Name something." He doubted they would need help from him involving fighting an enemy...

The Tortoise responded "Swarm-4 does not require extensive military assistence at this time. Futhermore, analysis of the recent battles in this sector have shown to have weakened the TGDA's combat poitential considerably. Unless you can offer something of value to Swarm-4, I must regretfully decline your proposal"
