The console screen showing the Trandoshan squad leader's helmet cam began fading into static as they entered the storage room, and Grievous began tapping his fingers against the console impatiently. Soon enough, and to the cyborg's surprise, the static dissipated, revealing a smashed, disc-shaped object on the ground. Leaning forward, Grievous said, "Squad 3?" "We found that on the back of the crate," the squad leader said. "Must be the jamming device." "Good, keep up your search. That room is only so big..." Glancing at Serephir, Grievous said, "See? They're doing well so far."

"I wouldn't rush the conclusion....i'd say it's very likely whatever else was in there, is somewhere in the area. they wouldn't put an empty box with a jamming device in it. there was definately something else in there. does the camera have Infra-red capabilities?" said Serephir. he could almost sense that it wasn't over, as odd as it sounded...

Grievous shook his head. "We Trandoshans can already see into the infra-red spectrum. If anything in there was giving off heat, we would've seen it through his camera ourselves already." He watched the screen as the squad leader's flashlight panned over the walls. Catching something glistening in a corner, Grievous said, "Wait, turn to the right a bit. Stop! Right there. What is that?" "I'll check it out, boss. The rest of you stay back and cover my a**." Grievous narrowed his eyes as he stared at the distant material that plastered the corner of the room...

The Imperial TIE Phantoms moved swiftly through the astroids, quickly scanning each astroid. They continued to look for the astroid installation. It had to be...even if the coordinates werent exact, their destination had to be close somewhere. The ships stayed cloak and continued looking...knowing full well what was happening back at the fleet.

The Imperial Fleet kept its shields up...they werent going to hold for long. Sooner or later, their shields would fail...

On one of the nearby asteroids surrounding the fleet, a tiny machine stood, recording what was going on, the spy drone being the only trace of Shadow Haven in the region, while even it had simple cloaking designed to prevent its detection...

The drone kept its barrage up, charging and firing both of its GPC's at once while it loaded its twin launchers with Torpedos. The earlier torpedo hammered home, smashing into the super star destroyer's shields moments before the twin swirling blue gpc bolts entered visual range, also rocketing head on towards the ship....

The Admiral lowered his head in frustration as he knew the barrage of attacks would eventually destroy them. An Imperial Officer tried to urge the Admiral to go but the Admiral knew that this was all a trap but some part of him didnt want to leave. No reports were coming from the TIE Phantoms...he had to assume the worst. "Phantoms still got hyperdrives?" The Admiral asked.
"Of course...sir, you want me to put in code-" The officer was cut off.
"Do it...come on, let's go.." The Admiral finally came to terms that they needed to leave. The Imperial Fleet began to head back into hyperspace and return to Imperial Territory. The TIE Phantoms would be on their own but they had hyperdrives to return as well..

As the camera image grew clearer, Grievous could recognize shapes in strange, plastic-like mold that coated the wall. "Looks like there's something inside it... By the Scorekeeper..." The Trandoshan squad leader stopped dead in his tracks. Pinned against the wall by the gunk were the four previous Trandoshan squad members. All of them had a look of horror and pain permanently plastered on their faces, and their chests were torn open from the inside. "What the hell could've done that?" It was a rhetorical question. None of them knew the answer, not even Grievous. The cyborg turned to Serephir with wide eyes. "You have any ideas what could've been in that box?"

Serephir shook his head. "None at all....but..." he said as he took a closer look through the camera at the wounds. "that isn't a stab wound...i don't know of any normal weapon that could do that either....it might be a good idea to get some flares out in there. something that could bathe the place in light. show you everything. either flares or infra red vision....anything could be using the Shadows to hide. it's probably how it got those four"...

Outside Revan's cell, Fox stepped out into the hall, still hidden behind the faceplate, though the single eye now peered into the cell itself. "I'm afraid your friends had a little run in with some unfriendly characters. I also regret to tell you that there were no survivors...I believe one of your precious Admirals were among them." he droned to Revan, lying discretely, arms folded, as a small screen was lowered into the cell, depicting the first few shots fired at the Imperials, Fox watching the screen as well...

OOC: There's four victims, KP.

Grievous nodded. "Get some more light in there." Before any Trandoshan could respond, they were cut off by a vicious-sounding hiss. "What the hell? "What was that?" "Sounded f**king creepy, man!" Grievous snarled, "Keep yourselves together!" Suddenly, the camera jerked. "What the..." Screams exploded out of the speakers as the camera was dragged into the air by an unseen force. The sounds devolved into a chaotic chorus of Screams, gunfire, and loud screeches of alien origin. The camera helmet eventually slipped off the struggling Trandoshan's head, hitting the ground hard. Before static overwhelmed the screen, Grievous glimpsed tall, insectoid beasts fighting the Trandoshan mercs, obviously overpowering them. Grievous stared at the static-filled screen in silence, then growled lowly, "Get a squad of security droids down there. Immediately."

Elsewhere, as Lissarkh made her way back to the command room, she stopped for a moment, wincing as she rubbed her suddenly throbbing head. "Ugh... What the?"

Serephir casually raised his gauntlet computer in front of him, simply saying "Code White. send in a pod, have it arrive on the landing pad near the shuttle. avoid damaging the pad". no sign of surprise or even interest was in his voice as he gave the order, a fair sized carrier pod landing gently on the landing pad not long afterwards, awaiting orders from Serephir...

Grievous cast a sideways, rather angry, glance at Serephir. "You don't seem worried or disturbed that my troops were just slaughtered like cattle."

"You know...You put in all of this trouble for me. Perhaps I should say Im honored...but how exactly how do you know that you actually have...Revan?" The sitting figure asked, now looking back up at Fox. The sitting figure then thought that perhaps he could now entertain the figure. The man however thought silenty in the back of his mind, thinking about the Imperials who were looking for him. But he would be foolish to completely thrive in hope, this obviously wasnt the right situation.

"Military operations don't have a place for emotion, General. I'm sure you know that as well as any other professional tactician. as much as it pains me to see lives being ended in such a gruesome manner, allowing it to influence the speed of my judgement or even my tone would hurt morale and potentially damage tactics. blame it on a war nobody should've had to experience. and consider my action as helping prevent more deaths from occuring" responded Serephir calmly. hitting a button on the gauntlet PC's typing panel, the order was given to activate, the pod opening up, 4 T-20s and 1 Assassin emerging, the pod itself seeming to break down into a new shape, forming a 4 limbed, spider-like machine, it's main body being two flat panels, between which, 7 small red orbs could be seen. they then proceeded to follow GPS mapping systems to find their commander, lining up in front of the Vardian General. the 4 VAMCEB Guards were, like Grievous, somewhat surprised by Serephir's seemed indifference. they had never seen him in action up close, and they were surprised he was handling a fairly startling situation so calmly...but then...they expected nothing less from Vardia's Finest...

Grievous narrowed his eyes. "I show mourning for any lives lost in battle. I am an honorable warrior. Only when my droids are involved do I not show sadness for any of my casualties."

A squad of security droids were already marching down the hallway towards the storage level, rifles at the ready the whole way...

Lissarkh walked into the command room, still rubbing her head, and Grievous turned to her. "Something wrong, Lissarkh?" The Trandoshan shook her head, hissing, "No, I'm fine, just a headache..."

Fox laughed. "Don't be a fool...I'm sure you noticed the camera that photographed your face. It was easily compared to other photos taken in the past by various sources. Your mask cannot hide you forever, Revan." he explained, chuckling yet again, the screen retracting back into the ceiling before it showed the Imperials retreating...

"Why do you think i called in a mechanised force? don't get me wrong. the lives of my people and their allies are my top priority. i don't intend to let another living being die at the claws of whatever's down there. pull out the Trandoshans and have them looked over for injuries. send in droids from here on in. i'll send in my attack force for more specialised combat, to help better handle the situation we seem to be in" said Serephir

"The Trandoshans have already been pulled out. No more will be killed today," snarled Grievous.

"Really...stalking me much huh? For all you know, I could be just a clone. An exact copy." Revan replied as the Sith Lord slowly stood up. He narrowed his eyes through his mask. He knew the Imperials were looking for him. They were fighting, looking for him. They just had to have patience but Revan couldnt completely rely on them as he focused on the figure before. The man glared at fox as he stood up completely. Interested in his response.
