OOC: LV, I don't appreciate having my forces controlled by other people...for now, I'll assume it was just a stray shot, but please refrain from doing so again.
The shields of the slower-moving ships held fast against the admittedly impressive fire, while the Sentries, though large, were able to keep moving as they closed the gap between the two forces, able to out-maneuver the heavier firepower that seemed to dominate the Imperial fleet. One of the arrow-shaped vessels flashed brightly, three gargantuan waves of energy emitting from its face, in an outline of its arrow-like shape, which floated through the battlefield, bypassing the sentries before striking the nearest defense platform. The first wave dispersed on contact with the platform's shields, causing the shield to falter and die from the EMP burst. The second wave hit only seconds later, slamming into the middle of the platform, the wave of pure plasma slicing through the platform before dispersing once it almost reached to the other side, almost splitting it completely in half. The final wave followed it, colliding with the mangled platform deep within the wound its predecessor inflicted, causing a series of high-powered explosions, which set off the station's own weapon reactors, causing the entire gargantuan station to be blown apart.
The second arrow-shaped craft unleashed its own weapon, the same three almost soundwave-like waves floating through space, ignorant of any and all fire directed at it, before slamming into a star destroyer, easily taller then the craft, the EMP burst causing its shields to fall while the plasma once again inflicted a devastating wound, though was able to completely rip through the other side, the explosive wave passing through as it headed toward the Imperial fleet behind it.
Meanwhile, the U shaped vessels, Rays as they were called, suddenly flashed into life as well, their sides unloading a torrent of homing shells ahead of them rapidly, alternating from side to side within half a second, the storm of shells heading toward the Imperial fleet, while the craft themselves stayed behind the Tarantula Sentries, which were closest to the Imperials...
And again, like all battles past, the familiar random shell would collide violently with a defending ship, resulting in a massive explosion that completely took the shields off some of the smaller crafts, the Devastators firing from the last remaining armored asteroids, which were circling from an extreme distance away from the planet, moving unnaturally to enable the best distance for the Devastators to attack from...
