Proteus' body seemed to fly apart in mid-air, chunks of black gelatin raining back into the city. However, it only took a few moments for the chunks to begin sliding together, and he reformed back into one shape, back into his Komodo mimic. Instead of taking to the air, Proteus slunk through the streets, keeping an eye on the mountainside in case the creature up there tried to move elsewhere...

Osiris pushed himself up onto his feet, swaying around strangely, a warbling emanating from the mech. He twisted around, staggering slightly, his pulse laser readying within his good arm and aiming around drunkenly...

Setsus backed away, turning and running into an alley way across the street, heading for the outskirts of the city, to watch Xolotl.

Xolotl, watched the remains of the blackish creature splatter away, satisfied that it was dead. He gave his Gauss rifle a chance to cool down, firing two waves of missiles from his back to shoot down the incoming ones. For now he would simply watch what the dragon did, following the energy signatures as well. He wondered if it would try attack him or hide instead... At this range, he had the advantage it was too far for a breath weapon to be used effectively and the monster didn't appear to have any long ranged guns.

The red glow came closer, as it did so, it fropped altitude so that it streaked merely a couple hundred meters above the ground, dust kicking up into a trail as the frozen terror-or atleast, that was his former alias- made his way...

Proteus continued his winding route through the city, using his liquidlike form to slide between thinner streets in order to make his route to the mountain shorter...

Horus snarled in irritation at their situation. he wasn't equipped to handle specialised long range attackers. choosing the moment to strike, he locked onto the Duvan'Rah, his targetting system giving a detailed 3D map of all his surroundings, as well as the approximate speed and power of the projectiles being fired by the enemy, using data gathered via his Gamma-Ray vision mode and analised recordings of the last few shots, his internal missile silos going online, before firing one of his Ballista missiles, the rocket shooting directly upwards before changing direction, shooting directly at the Duvan'Rah, it's armour hopefully enough to withstand the counterattacks long enough to hit the target, 12 more VHA missiles moving a distance away from it in the direction of the Duvan'Rah, planning to hit it from a different side, while Horus himself charged forward through the city streets and out into the open, leaping up into the air, jets activating and launching him forward at roughly the same speed as the missiles, intending to try and swarm the enemy, his jaws unleashing a beam of plasma at the Duvan'Rah as the missiles closed in...

OOC: Setsus is an alleyway at the moment, at his size, barely able to fit into it, Proteus would get stuck between the buildings. And even disregarding that, how was he able to see him? He and Horus were far away from him last post.

Several flashes blinked out from behind Xolotl, the machine firing a few more waves of missiles, the small blazing rockets arcing up to intercept the incoming shots, the missiles having ample power to destroy all targets including the Ballista missile. He lifted up a massive hand, using it as a shield to take the brunt of the beam. The gauss rifle began to glow once more, preparing to fire again. He locked onto the incoming dragon, still quite far away, the rifle shifting slightly as it adjusted its aim...

Horus' eyes widened as he saw the energy building in the weapon. at this rate he was going to go down the same way Osiris did. in an effort to stop the move, he launched dozens of missiles simultaniously, the sheer quantity too much to be shot down before at least half of them had hit the target, Horus simultaniously firing his beam directly at the weapon's barrel, planning to, at the very least, temporarily disable the weapon until he could get close enough to effectively evade the attack, the missiles hurtling towards that same target...

Xolotl's gauss rifle was shifted slightly by the attack, the weapon rotating on its servos as it fired. As a result, the shot was well off target, the same deafening boom ripped across the country side between him and the city, the shell rocketing away, past the speed of sound, missing the dragon and slamming into a skyscraper deep in the city a few seconds after, the shell having been set to a low penetration level, exploding inside the building instead of going right through it. The explosion burst through several floors of the building, severing it and sending the entire structure collapsing at an angle...

His launchers began spitting out missiles in tandum, smoke engulfing the mech's back from their exhausts. The storm of missiles intercepted the dragon's own barrage, negating it from sheer weight of numbers...

Annoyed, Xolotl rose up from his crouch, Gauss rifle wheeling back into its standby state. He switched to his Shruiken cannon, the weapon sliding across his forearm and over his fist, his hand rotating around to grip around the weapon's outside, stabilising it further. He raised the weapon, locking onto the dragon and firing a quick burst of 3 rounds, the line of shells aimed to lance across the dragons neck and left wing...

Horus snarled as the shells were fired, closing his wings and dropping several feet, letting the shells fly over him as he redirected his thrust, launching him back upwards, his wings beating to increase his altitude as he closed in, a lfare of yellow light coming from his jaws as he prepared to fire again, this time aiming for the Machine's head as he ascended...

Placentra scittered across the ground frantically, seeking out the creature that attacked Osiris. The signal he was folloing lead him into an alley way and a little beyond. It was a problem when your target was something too hard to keep up with, it either meant it was small and agile, or large and taking big strides with each step..

The vine-like limbs collecting together, they formed a reinforced shield, which blocked the maser attack effectively, at least for the time being. The pores on Biovine's shoulders sprayed acid over the mech's chest and abdomen, the streams of corrosive material hitting their mark even though the mech attempted to back away...

Quickly wiping the acid away to protect his sonic ray, Pred-1 took to the air, bombarding Biovine with a constant stream of missiles and shoulder cannon blasts to overwhelm the plant monster's defenses...

As the dragon angled back up, Xolotl fired another burst of shots, the rounds intercepting the monster at the apex of its climb, hammering into its body and exploding, two hit its chest and another hit it in the head, the force of the shot causing its head to jerk to the side. He held his ground, firing at the dragon again, trying to keep it suppressed while he simultaneously powered up his sonic blaster in his other arm...

Setsus pounced up onto the side of a building, digging his claws in and rapidly scampering up it, trying to get a better perspective on the battle...

Placentra began to recieve the signal of Setsus from a higher altitude. Front legs pushing as far as they could, Placentra angled himself up to the Monkey like machine's level, iris stored in his triangular eye zooming in on his form. "What are you supposed to be? King Kong?" Placentra thought to himself. Tendrils shot out of his back, grabbing onto the building as the scorpian began to crawl up the wall, Miniguns sliding into place between his pincers...

Setsus paused, sensing the other Duvan'rah's presence nearby. He dug his claws in momentarily and leaned back, holding on with a hand and foot while he glanced around, searching for him. He spotted the small scorpion like machine maybe 30 meters down the building, following him. He let out a rattling screech and took out his auto cannon. The weapon popping out of its holster and opening fire, spitting shells down at the scorpion, blowing chunks of the building out around him...

A tentical shot out from Placentra's side at the expense of losing those from his back. He swung over to the side and out of the way of fire, his tail whipping up over him when he firmly planted his legs back on the building. His tail laser slid into place, unleashing an intense red beam at Setsus' auto cannon..

snarling as he reached the desired altitude, he closed his wings and went into a dive at the creature, tucking his wings rightly against his body to make his exposed area minimal to the Duvan'Rah below, his jaws flaring once more as his beam was unleashed, doing criss-cross movements all over the Duvan'Rah's form, keeping a steady torrent of plasma going until he was close enough, the curves of his claws and axe-tail glowing white in preparation...

Before much damage had been done, Setsus managed to land a few shots, the rounds blowing Placentra back and breaking his grip, throwing him down towards the street below...

Xolotl traced the dragon with his Shruiken cannon, using the weapon to try and suppress him aiming for the head and trying to mess up his aim. As he came closer, he swung his other arm around, the sonic blaster ready and charged, setting it to a thin spread before firing, a powerful cone of force exploding out with a deafening roar. The blast crashed into the dragon's upper body, blowing it off course and making it's head jerk back, perpendicular to its movement, Xolotl's other arm swinging forward, Shruiken cannon clipping back, fist ready to punch into the incoming dragon's gut...

Horus roared in pain from the blow, a splitting headache hitting him from the attack, barely having the time to recover enough to adjust himself, opening one wing and arcing it so he twisted, closing the wing immediately once he had the angle right to prepare for impact, an arm intercepting the incoming fist as the other slashed along it with the razor sharp, enhanced claws, skidding along it and clamping down, jerking the mech to one side from the grip and letting go at the last minute, hitting the ground almost immediately after, tumbling and skidding along the mountain for a few hundred feet and stopping, slowly standing, swaying from the combined force of the attack he had sustained and the collision, head still swaying slightly before he straightened completely, his jaws already bubbling with plasma as his piercing gaze rose to stare Xolotl right in it's one-eyed face. "So this is what has become of the Aztec Piece" he rumbled, noticing the exposed part of the Ark-piece he had brought to south America thousands of years prior. at this range, despite the pain he was in just trying to get here, he knew he stood a better chance...he just hoped that this machine wasn't as capable in close range combat as it was in long range...

Xolotl's turret was twisted round by the impact, his bottom half left stable. He stared at the dragon, lifting one foot up, pulling it out of the ground and rotating on his ankle and turret, planting it back down once he was facing the cyborg. A deep rumbling voice slowly emited from the machine, Xolotl having foreseen the need for verbal communication during his construction "You have made a fatal error, machine-creature. This conflict shall destroy you if you pursue it further." As he finished the sentence, the rim around his head began glowing, electrical beams of orange energy danced around it, Xolotl powering up his hyper laser...
