So im gonna sugest another RPG here. Its gona be the last one i suggest if this gets rejected im not gonna sugest anymore. Also guys can you tell me which creatures that i have included are in FRPG, because i dont want to copy it.

The year is 2010 and the biggest earthquake in the history of mankind has erupted. And South America has been seperated away from North America. Now it drifts into the ocean and stops somewhere near Australia. Over time with no humans living in the country (because they all died) vegetation has been able to grow all around the country. Turning the remains of the citties to mear ruins. Some mythological creatures have been able to survive and now they thribe in the destroyed South America.

Inhabitants: Black dog,Boogeyman,Chupacabra,Gogmagog,Golem,Leviatan,Sea Siren,Mummy,Tokolosh,Troll,Basilisk,Cerber,Cyclops,Fenrir,Gorgona,Grifon,
Harpia,Hydra,Kraken,Mantikora,Oni,Rock Bird,Scila,Sfinks,Boom Bird,Dracula,The Frankenstein Monster,Gargantua,Big foot,Blue slime alien,Goblin,Jersey Devil,Green Lizard Alien,Yeti,Youie.

READ THIS IMPORTANT: I got this idea from a book about myth creatures and creatures from movies. Im speculating The Frankenstein Monster, and Dracula are not gonna be allowed in the RPG. So yeah this is my last idea for a RPG.

So basically its an rpg about monsters living in south America?

And none of your ideas have been 'rejected' so far.
That makes it sound like they aren't allowed. Rather, nobody has been interested in your ideas.

I know I haven't been very active, and I know that it may seem a bit rude to just randomly come and suggest a roleplay, but if people approve this one, I think it would work out rather nicely. I'm not quite sure what to do other than post it here and see what the Admins and people say =/.

Quite the opposite, we like when people arrive with new ideas. Keeps things fresh.

Infact, I quite like your idea. The only thing i'd be worried about is the NPC's and hiring people, but you've already offered to take care of that.

What do you mean by explaining the magical abilities allowed? Is there set abilities we can choose from or is it more guide lines on the what you can and can't do with magic?

Another thing I'd be concerned about is a motive. Theres very little reason to put thought into your actions if your not scared of anything. Would there be a more powerful force present in the rpg? Like, maybe you (Tediz) controlling the police or some mega corp with some way of punishing players for bad choices (wither that be through direct intervention or forcing the other players to attack them)

Yes, you do get a set thing to choose from, depending on your race.

For example, an Elf would be more powerful in Magic than a Troll, but obviously a Troll is more of a Brute Strength kinda guy anyway.

I didn't say they weren't afraid of anything, in fact they're jobs are pretty frightening. They're the only ones that are capable of doing it, but that doesn't mean they're invulnerable. They get called to do things like kill a Monster in someones basement or... Whatever. You know what I'm trying to say.

Yeah, but what I ment about magical abilties was the actual abilties themselves. Like would a set ability be something like the ability to throw a fireball or would players get to make up their own spells?

Oh, I see. Yes, I will be making a set list to choose from. Depending on the race, type of spell, blah blah, depends on how many you can have, how many times you can use them per post - or day, in game time - you know.

The list itself will be incredibly long, and I'll do my best to balance it, to insure originality and make sure everyone's happy.

As for Cybernetic Enhancements - another big part in Shadowrun - and guns, I'll leave that up to the players.

If anyone gets too over powered, I'll just make an NPC to bother them until they cool off.

Of course, just as in SS, people are more than welcome to make "bad guys" to hunt other players with their own private Military or whatever reason. Magic in Shadowrun can be drained STORY wise, not as an actual power. So there's always at least somewhat of a plot.

But then there's no real white and black. Only different shades of gray.

Sounds cool. I can already think of a character, I'd support it if you made it, but you need more people.

It sounds good...but it seems really limited in the job aspect. Sure it allows players to get cybernetics and magic abilities, but its basically inserting them in the same generic position over and over, for every character they make.

Its like in FRPG, you can be this that and the other thing in terms of race, but you HAVE to be a knight, or you HAVE to be a mage.

I've just been thinking about this for a while now (Actually several weeks...), but I just want to propose a Pliocene Park RPG... It's basically ISS or the Animal RPG, but with prehistoric creatures from the Cenzoic era (Paleocene- Plestiocene). Here's the storyline:

The year is 2054. Scientists have sucessfuly cloned soem of the greatest beasts of the past... Not dinosaurs, but what inherited the Earth after them. It had all statred with the clonein gof an extinct subspecies of Ibex in 2009, and from then, cloneing skyrocketed, with all sorts of extinct beasts cloned, from Gastornis to the Entelodon, from the humble Bear-dog, to the mighty Megatherium. At first, these beasts were cloned simply fo rzoos, bu tthen, a special reservatipon was made for these titans of the past, on a deserted island in the Galapagos, where these beasts live out their lives, similar to how they did millenia ago...

As you said, its basically ISS or ARPG with prehistoric mammals...ARPG has been largely inactive until recently, so adding a third "animal RPG" would just hurt them all in the long run.

I know this is sorta off topic. The next plotline in ISS should be the characters being captured and put in Jurassic Park. It would be interesting to see them in a zoo enviorment.

^ Uh... keep in mind that ISS takes place decades after the JP series, so I doubt that will happen...

BINGO! brilliant idea. SEA RPG meets ISS in...

PREHISTORIC OCEANS RPG.

Here, your able to control any prehistoric sea creature from, (Evolutionary speaking), 500 million to 1 million years ago, from the great Basilosaurus to the humble Archelon.

Storyline: the island chain of the Phillipenes has become the fruit labor of a massive cloning program, the end result being numerous extinct sea animals now thriving in the world's various aquariums and oceans. Of particular intrest is a protected marine reserve in the Sea of Cortez, where the extinct sea fauna lives in relativ epeace from competition from more "Modern" megafauna...

Um...The dinos were taken off of Sora by some company trying to profit off of it

and every one on the ships were slaughtered

Gira, we have ARPG, ISS and (had) SRPG

ARPG is inactive most of the time
ISS is a major hit with the prehistoric animals (DINOSAURS)
SRPG failed due to noobish and lack of things to do/describe

bad idea IMO

Actually, they were pirates who knew nothing about Dinosaurs other than that they were rare.
Arrr :P

And Gira, thats a very interesting idea.
I can't wait to see if people will yet again go through the motions of going "ZOMG *insert genus here* FUN FUN FUN!"
Or if they will have learnt from the past 85748907 rpgs like that, that they are simply BORING.

Doc: So, I suppose thats' a vote for my idea for an RPG?

One little rule to add for my RPG (If it comes to life.... More rules will be added....)

1.You can only choose purly aquatic extinct sea creatures. (The only exeption is Archelon....)
